Thalia's POV:

Ok to wrap up my encounter with my first primordial goddess. Disappointed. Not only in the goddess but myself as well. I scared Annabeth and I don't like that. I know Perseus doesn't either but he's also the Roman Percy and well Roman's don't take to kindly to attempted murder like Akhlys did.

But she was also so easy to defeat. Or maybe it was just mine and Percy's powers. I know her slapping herself was me. I wanted to see how much she liked it getting hurt by her own hand but Perseus. Perseus took control of her domains away from her. Now if you ask any god or goddess I don't know which they'll say is worse but Dionysius would definitely side on the domain thing considering his...prohibition periods.

But she was also ended by two sword wounds and being tossed over the edge of Tartarus into the void where I'll admit I had the balls to watch what happened and she just disappeared or better stated faded into the abyss. I really hope that doesn't come to bite us in the ass. Especially since her mother is a force even my father fears and dares not cross.

"Let's get moving" Annabeth said after Percy and I promised her she wouldn't have to witness our darker nature again. But if you ask me something felt slightly off with her. Not just the death mist thingy but she felt more like my auntie Hestia. More calming more peaceful. Not as open to violence. I wonder. Could she be like Percy and Perseus, but have the same name. If so which Annabeth did we promise not to show the dark side too, Greek, Roman...both?

Oh well fuck it if we survive this experince and then the war, and if I remember then I can figure it out. There's other pressing matters to deal with first like getting out of here.

The walk to the gates from here should be easy with the death mist. There's only one problem, while Perseus had his godly sense, he could only say vaguely in that ish direction. Which we went. Only problem that ish direction had us cross paths with a primordial we probably wanted to avoid right now.

"Hello demigods" the mistress of the night said as we approached, only for me to notice a mansion of pure black not too far away, and like a black my uncle hades would be jealous of kind of black. Like negative light returns black.

"Demigods" Annabeth asked confusedly. "No no we are just tourist"

"Tourist" Nyx asked confusedly.

"Yes. We were given this brochure but our idiot boyfriend here lost it when we visited the poisonous fields of Akhlys." She said. "If my memory serves me our next destination is the heart of Tartarus and then we are done our tour."

"Wait what. Surely my mansion is there"

"Nope" Perseus answered, "brochure never mentioned a mansion anywhere"

"what surely you're mistaken" Nyx replied

"I don't recall any mansion being mentioned either. Probably not that important" I said offhandedly

"NOT IMPORTANT. ILL SHOW YOU NOT IMPORTANT" Nyx yelled.

Suddenly gods and goddesses, as well as many monsters appears, all of which I hoped I wouldn't run into down here but go figure a primordial mother can summon her kids.

"I'm the mother to"

"Bleh bleh bleh. Gaia birthed the titans and giants far more interesting" Perseus stated

Nyx growled in response.

Which was not a good move by her part as her kids started arguing over who she liked best. And I mean they were all arguing. Even the hellhounds were growling at the others as if saying she liked them more.

"Children stop this I love each of you equally" Nyx spoke calmly and the children of Nyx stopped

"I mean yeah she probably doesn't like the bright ones over there considering how bright and shiny they are compared to her" I stated hoping to reignite the argument their mother quelled

The children started arguing again.

"Let's go while she's distracted" Annabeth whispered, grabbing Perseus and I and dragging us off to the mansion of Nyx. I pray she knows what she's doing.

We closed our eyes as we crossed the threshold, or well Annabeth and I did. Perseus I'm not so sure because of his connection to the night via his mother.

We ran through the mansion for I don't know how long before I could hear Nyx yell about treachery and trespassing tourist.

I don't know about the other two but I didn't want to be caught now. I just hope she doesn't find out about her missing kid.

"This way" Perseus yelled, and dragged us off somewhere through the mansion. I still didn't risk opening my eyes. If Akhlys looked so miserable I didn't want to see her mother's residence.

I started hearing footsteps behind me but also heard the movement of rushing water infront of me.

"When I say jump, use your powers to cross the river" Perseus said as we moved closer and closer to the sound of rushing water.

5 ten fifteen twenty steps, and now the water rushing sounded like I was near a water fall. Five more steps and Perseus yelled now. I used my powers and started flying across the river until Percy started bringing us down.

I opened my eyes and turned back to look at the doorway we just jumped from some 200 feet away. And some of Nyx's kids pushing eachother into the river out of frustration and dissapointing mommy dearest.

Now I know I didn't mention it earlier but Nyx felt far more like a primordial than Akhlys. Like with her I felt like I did when I first came out of my tree and ran into a powerful god. While with Akhlys it felt like I was facing off against one of my grandfathers subordinates.

At least now we were at the heart of Tartarus and on a hill to our left I saw a giant and titan riding a drakon towards us.
