Frank's POV:

As Jason and I were of the highest rank on board and Jason was with Leo chasing down the thieves, I had to deal with the legionaries complaining about their stolen items. Thankfully though that matter was resolved when Leo and Jason brought said stolen items back to the ship.

I still feel like I've hardly done anything on any of these past two quest. Then again Percy did tell me someone with less than a year of experience shouldn't have been given either quest and the fates were just being cruel bitches. I swear I don't know how he can say most of the stuff he does without getting smote by the gods, unless ladies Diana and Vesta really do care about him that much to stop that, but what do they have on the fates to stop them.

Though with the book that Leo and Jason brought back, they said we had to return it to a god in Venice. Why is the god there? Who knows.

We arrived in Venice only to decide that Nico would go, because for some reason he knows Italian(ok I didn't know he was Italian, until Hazel told me), Hazel volunteered as well because her brother was going and she wanted to spend more time with him. So that leads to where we are now. Traveling through Venice together with her brother and avoiding the weird cow like monsters infesting the city.

So yes I volunteered after Hazel said she'd go. It's not that I don't trust her brother. It's just that he seems strange. And two children of the underworld and one child of the god war, well not many hate both the lord of the underworld and the lord of war, except maybe those who lost those they love to war.

Dam we really didn't think this through. Whoever it is hopefully they don't hate both of our fathers because if they do it's going to be hard to continue on.

We wondered around the city, Nico leading the way. The cows didn't bother us for the most part. They'd just keep on eating whatever it was that was hidden beneath the roads.

"We're almost there" Nico said as we entered a plaza voided of everything but the monster cows.

"That's great" Hazel mumbled, plugging her nose as the smell of the cows here was a lot worse than elsewhere in the city.

"It's on the other side of the plaza" Nico said though I could tell something was making us all not want to cross, mainly the looks the cows were giving us.

As we began our careful journey through the cows and across the plaza I tripped on a root and broke it out of the ground. Only problem is now the cows are looking at me like I'm food.

They start running towards us and we drew our weapons to fight them. We were pushed back to the correct side of the plaza but once there we were corned and one of the cows burped on Hazel and she fell unconscious.

Nico and I moved to defend Hazel when the god we were looking for appeared and shooed the cows off.

"Hurry they'll be back" the god said.

An: Ok look I'm getting bored of writing this chapter so most everything follows the canon in the books...imma just bring you forward to the deviation.

I was out of breath. One cow remained in the entire city and I prayed to my father to turn the cow into a snake for the god Triptolemus. You know I wonder if Katie or one of Demeter's kids came if he would have just healed Hazel and not turn Nico into a corn stalk.

Speak of the devil and he shall appear, and by that I mean Katie showed up as well as the Argo 2  wondering what happened and why the cows are gone and why there's a snake in my hand.

"A long story but I need to go back to Triptolemus and hope he reversed what he did to Nico and heals Hazel" I said and started heading off. Unaware of the following Katie until I arrived at Triptolemus's home.

"Here's your snake now save my friends" I demanded of him as per the deal.

Triptolemus looked at the snake and deemed it fit to operate his chariot. "You did well son of mars...but I'd rather not. You see they are children of Ha..."

"You will save my friends or I don't care what my mother did for you I will kill you like the greedy scum you are" Katie said behind me stepping into the house

Triptolemus looked weary all the sudden. Like he knew he couldn't do anything to her, but could still hurt the rest of us. "And don't you dare hurt my friends or so help me mom I will find away to communicate with Percy Thalia and Annabeth and get them to throw your reforming self into the void"

Triptolemus audibly gulped. But in this moment I could see the underrated value of the children of Demeter and Ceres, despite not seeking battle like the children of lord Saturn's sons, they are still children of the original olympians and the second born one at that.

"O...ok" Triptolemus stuttered looking uneasy at Katie. "But they are children..."

"DOES IT LOOK LIKE I GIVE A SINGLE FLYING FUCK ABOUT THAT. NOW HEAL THEM OR ELSE" Katie yelled and for a moment I swore it was as if Lady Ceres was here and yelling at Pluto himself. Note to self. Don't get on the other end of the goddess's children yelling. If it can scare a god I can't imagine who else it could scare. Heck I'm sure even the titan lord avoided her children because of that.

Triptolemus muttered something under his breath and started healing Hazel while turning Nico back into a boy. Katie meanwhile stood their tapping her foot as the god worked.

Nico stumbled out of the pot the god put him in stood up and summoned his sword pointing it at the god. Nico's only hesitation came when, not long after, Hazel coughed and seemed to be gaining her strength back.

"Let's go" Katie demanded grabbing Nico by the ear and gesturing for me to get Hazel. "And Triptolemus interfere in this quest again and I will accuse you of treason and I won't be as nice with a punishment as Percy was with Heracles"

Triptolemus gulped again rushed to his chariot and quickly left. "I swear the next immortal I have to deal with I might just kill" I heard Katie mumble from her lead and dragging Nico by the ear.

"You and me both" Nico said whilst wincing in pain from being dragged by the ear. And for once I feel sorry for the kid get out of one punishment just to be put into two different ones not even a full week later, on top of traversing the pit alone for who knows how long.
