Percy's POV:

Before you ask. No I do not know why I growled at Phoebe for taking Thalia below decks. Though if I were to guess and by how the battle against Polybotes went in New Rome. It was a Roman form of myself not liking that my sister taking my girlfriend somewhere. I swear if having a Roman form makes me start having multi personality disorder, and that those two personalities start fighting each other because of Athena's stupid statue and the feud that caused I'm going to lose it.

Oh yes. Sorry adhd. Anyways my sisters raided my room on the ship, which I didn't even know I had and set up camp in there.

"Hey um. Percy where are we all going to sleep you know. This ship wasn't built for a large crew but a small one to live comfortably when on quest" Travis asked

"Puts us on course for the ancient lands" I ordered, "the seven of the prophecy will discuss this matter when we are underway"

"Aye aye admiral" Travis and Connor mocked saluted before running around readying the ship for a journey at sea.

I found Leo and Charlie at the helm and asked for Leo to help collect the rest of the seven of the prophecy in the mess hall.

I however grabbed Annabeth, Hazel and Frank and started heading their hoping Leo found Jason and Piper.

"Why are we meeting this early" Jason asked as soon as I entered

I rolled my eyes. Apparently time with the Greeks wasn't good for the son of Jupiter as he's adopted son of Zeus like qualities. "There's numerous issues we need to resolve as this is our quest, and the ship and crew of this ship is under our command. The most prevalent of which is sleeping arrangements. And as we don't have rooms to represent all the gods present we must amend our living arrangements"

"As I'm the lead builder of this ship. Can I ask why the need for a crew" Leo asked

"Seven is a rough number. It's also a small number for what we are going to be doing in the long run. Having a crew allows us and them to rest and recover should injuries occur or prolonged battle faces us" Annabeth stated almost Roman like...well milady Vesta did adopt her. So I guess it's not too far off.

Jason looked like he was going back to his Roman ways briefly in understanding the logic behind having a crew.

"Oh. I guess I didn't think of that" Leo stated sheepishly

"It's not your fault Leo. Quest like this one are unusual especially in modern times and even more so during times of war" I said clasping his shoulder. "You've built a mighty fine warship"

Leo seemed grateful for the comment but still looked down. So that's his fatal flaw, his self esteem is low and easily hit, he feels perpetually inferior. That's good to know. But if he can conquer that flaw he'd be damn near impossible to stop and a great friend to have. Especially since he's a fire user.

"Then how are we going to split if not by godly parent" Piper asked.

Like with Leo, Hazel and Frank, I fear she may be too inexperienced for this quest. But I trust in her abilities with her powers just as I do with Frank and Hazel's, and I guess Leo's too. That she'll be a great asset to the quest. And inexperience in fighting can always be overcome with training and sparing. Which I imagine most of our free time will be spent doing.

"The Roman's split things by cohort" Jason said, acting more like what I was briefly told of him in New Rome by his reputation. "We could do something similar"

"If math serves me right about 7 to a room will do" I stated. "The hunt has already laid claim to my room so that just leaves 44 more"

"44" Jason questioned

"Annabeth, Thalia and I are still staying there. It'll be just like camp before manhattan on the rest day." I said

Annabeth let out a small giggle, "the first time was hilarious seeing Zoë's face when we came into the cabin together and just flopped on your bed with you"

"Isn't that against the rules" Frank asked

"Perhaps but they are my siblings and Annabeth and Thalia, are technically members of the hunt, just not officially members of the hunt" I stated

Hazel was fanning herself at such indecency, understandable of someone from the 1930s.

"Ok then so how should the rest of us split then." Leo asked

"We could put the the children of Ares in one room" Piper suggested. "That would be 9 with their Roman siblings joining them."

"Frank" I asked

"Clarisse worries me" he said, "she's blood thirsty for sure but"

"Yes the Roman barracks separation. CHB separates by godly parent. This is normal for them and they are your siblings." I reminded Frank.

"It's acceptable then I guess" Frank said. Thankful for the agreement that now there's a room of nine so seven can be guaranteed by the other rooms.

We spent an hour debating the division of the remain 5 rooms. The only room with all Roman's ended up being the six engineers that volunteered. The rest had at least one from the other camp.

The meeting was then dismissed to tell the others about the living arrangements.

"Hey Piper. Can you go get Thalia for me. She should still be with Phoebe or is sparing someone on the ship" I asked, as Piper was the last to leave besides Annabeth and myself

"Why me" she asked

"Something seems slightly off" I stated

"About what or whom" she asked

"Have you noticed Jason acting differently than usual. Because he's not acting like his reputation would have him in Rome" I stated

Piper began thinking for a bit, as did Annabeth, as if she too was realizing my observation.

"I mean he seems a little different. But I think it's just because you're dating his sister" Piper said

"That's plausible" Annabeth stated, "but just keep your guard up just in case. And please go get Thalia for us" she asked

Piper nodded and left.

"You thinking what I am" Annabeth asked

"It's possible" I stated thinking about Eidolons. "If one got to Jason that can cause major discord and even civil war upon the ship" I added

"It's worse if they're working for the enemy" Annabeth stated

We sat in silence for a little while trying to think of ways to resolve the problem.

"Hey you two called" Thalia asked, looking concerned.

"It's about your brother" Annabeth stated

Thalia groaned, "what did he do"

"That's the thing Thalia. We aren't sure if it is him doing it" I said

Thalia looked at me in shock, and then realization hit, "you think he turned"

"No. But possession isn't out of the question" Annabeth stated

"By what" Thalia asked

"Eilodon" I said and got a cold chill running down my back and a slight probing feeling in my mind, which I blocked.

"You all felt that cold and prick at the mind too right" Thalia asked

Annabeth and I nodded. "Well that confirms it" Annabeth stated

There was a clash of swords above deck and we knew it may be too late or there's a spar going on so we headed up to intercept.
