The two of us hung out for a bit before dinner was ready. We parted ways, and I walked back to the campsite.

After dinner, the hunters brought out a cake with eleven candles. It was a blue chocolate cake, so it was fantastic after cake Daisy walked up to me.

"Hello, little brother." She said with a smile.

"Hi, Daisy. Did you ever finish whatever it was you were working on?" Her smile grew before placing a box in front of me.

"I don't know. Why don't you check it out?" So I did. Inside was a small wolf charm. I think I made Apollo jealous of how bright my smile was. I grabbed the charm and rubbed my thumb against it. Suddenly my bow was in the charms place.

"You didn't!"

"Oh, but I did," Daisy smirked. I hugged her tightly with a huge smile.

"Thank you, thank you thank you!"

"Calm down. It's Phoebe's turn to give you her gift than the twins then Zoe." I nodded.

Phoebe gave me a wrist guard that transformed into a battle ax. The twins gave me a magical bag that turned into a tent, and Zoe gave me something I would always hold dear.

"This is yours now, little brother." She held out a hair clip that turned into riptide.

"Are you sure? I mean you haven't trusted anyone with it since you know who"

"Yes, but you are my little brother. I know I can trust you." She gave me her sword, Riptide. It felt perfect. I turned it into a pen and hugged her. The others joined in.

I have to say this birthday has been great except for one last thing.

I walked into my mother's tent at some point after dinner. I wasn't going to lie and say I wasn't a bit nervous.

"You called for me, mom?" I hid it surprisingly well.

"Yes. As you know, we can't exactly keep you hidden forever." I nodded. "Apollo came yesterday and brought to light something interesting."

"What was it?" I asked.

"You see by next summer you will be needed. And Apollo and I have agreed that when you go, I will claim you before Poseidon can."

"But what about the others? Do they know?"

"Only Zoe knows as of right now. We can tell the others before you leave."

"What about the fact that the camp is filled with boys?" Venom followed the last word despite the fact I was one.

"We'll have to hope they don't taint you. But I doubt they will. You are my son."

"What about after the summer? Must I stay there, or can I come home to the hunt?"

"You will return to the hunt. Oh, and remember if Zeus or any other male tries anything, show them who's better." We Both smiled at this. I hugged her tightly, holding back tears.

"I'm gonna miss you then."

"I know my little star. I know."
