Chapter 11: Daily Routine
I was moved to mom's cabin the next morning. The inside made me homesick.
I was shunned by most of the campers as they talked about me behind my back. Although this kid, Ethan Nakamura, became an excellent friend to me, even going as far as introducing me to James Cantu. Clarisse warmed up to me after I fixed her spear and upgrading it so she could control the voltage that her opponent got, and a son of Demeter named Adam Rose would hang with me on the weekends, where we would play on a GameBoy he had sneaked into camp.
But at night, I feel homesick, and I didn't know how much longer I could do this. Three months here felt like such a long time.

One night I woke up, the sound of a gunshot echoed around me. I got up and ran from the cabin, not caring about the rumor of the harpies going after the kids who snuck out after curfew. I stopped at the big pine tree on the hill. I sat down and closed my eyes, the noise slowly getting farther and farther away.
"You ok?" the voice startled me, and within seconds I had my knife in my hands, but it wasn't needed. A girl with shoulder-length, spiky black hair, electric blue eyes, and freckles across her nose. She wore clothes that were somewhere between punk and Goth: a black T-shirt, tattered black jeans, and a leather jacket with buttons from a bunch of bands I had never heard of.
"Sorry. I'm fine," I told her as I put the blade away.
"Wait, you can see me?" she asked in surprise.
"Well yeah. Why wouldn't I be able to?"
"No one ever sees me." she sat down next to me. "No matter how much I try, they never see me."
I felt bad. "Your a ghost, aren't you?"
She nodded sadly. That must be lonely. Not being able to talk to anyone, and no one sees you.
"Well, if you're ok with it, I can come here and talk to you during the night." I offered a soft smile.
"I don't even know your name." she chuckled at this.
"I'm Percy Jackson"
"Nice to meet you, Percy. I'm Thalia."
🐺🐺🐺
Two weeks had passed by. On Mondays, I practiced archery with the apollo cabin, some of who were happy to have a cousin from cabin 8, until lunchtime finally, and after I had sword practice with the Hermes cabin until dinner. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I wrestled with the Ares cabin, mainly Clarisse, because some of them are sore losers for most of the day. Thursday, I hanged out with Ethan and James until my lessons with Annabeth in the afternoon. Fridays, I was cleaning the pegasus stables with Grover until lunch, and then we just hung out. On Saturday, Adam and I took turns playing Pokemon: Fire Red, switching after every trainer battle, at Zeus' fist, an idiotic name for some rocks, until it was almost dusk, and on Sunday, I was either at the beach or in the forest relaxing. I visited Thalia every other night and usually slept there on those nights.
But halfway through my fourth week, I was called to the big house.

"Ok, so Zeus lost something and thinks I can find it because of me being the son of Artemis. If I don't find it, then Zeus will do everything in his power to make sure that I can't leave the camp without monsters attacking me?" I asked the god and centaur in front of me as they played their card game.
"Yes. he is a bit mad at your mother for having you." Mr. D told me.
"Well, fuck." I sighed. "I guess I have a quest then."

Ok, happy Labor Day, people. I go back to school tomorrow and hope it won't ruin my upload schedule, but shit happens.
I keep getting a comment from one person saying that my latest chapters have just been blank except for the title. So can you please let me know if this is a problem more than this one person is having? That would be great.
Now because last week was all over the place, I've decided to extend your time to choose the guidebook chapter.
these are your choices for this weeks guidebook chapter:
1. James Cantu
2. Doctor who references
3. Chaos's and Order's powers
4. Only a little
As always, choose wisely.
