"W-what do you want?" Ina asked.

He was different, a bit calmer than when they first met. His hair was blond, making the rose of his cheeks even more prominent in her cold room. There was a large wet puddle from the foot of her window leading into her bed. Her blankets were drenched, the guy shivering slightly as the wind from the A/C hit him. This was new to him. A cold room, colder than outside. How was it cold without magic? Was it a spell? What was making the room cold? Where was the wind coming from?

Yoongi simply shook his head, making the water on his hair hit the pillows behind him as a blackbird flew to the now opened window.

Ina wasn't sure what to do or say. It was awkward. It was creepy. It was scary. Although she had admired him at first because of his beauty, having a stranger in her house had her on edge.

"You know I can call the police on you!" Ina finally whispered-yelled.

"Police? What is that?" he asked.

He seemed genuinely confused by the word, his hands grabbing some blankets to try and clean his face with them. Ina couldn't help but see the innocence in his eyes. Walking past her bed, Ina made her way to her bedroom restroom, grabbing a hairdryer and walking back in to see the guy relaxed on her mattress.

"Come here," she muttered, the man on her bed looking at her judgingly.

"What are you going to do to me?"

"Yoongi was your name, correct?" Ina asked, plugging her hairdryer into the wall next to her nightstand.

He nodded, looking at her as she made her way onto the bed, using her hand to wave him to get near her. Hesitantly, he moved nearer, her hand inching the hairdryer closer to him before turning it on.

The noise it made startled him for a second but as she continued to comb her fingers through his hair, he let the heat run down his scalp, Ina gently helping dry his hair. It was a warm feeling for him. Like when you get near a fire on a cold winter day, or when you enter a warm bath after a long day in December.

"What is that?" he finally blurted after a large and empty silence, pointing at the hairdryer in Ina's hand.

"This makes your hair dry. It makes sure you don't catch a cold with this weather, it's called a blow drier, have you ever heard of it?" Ina asked.

He shook his head, looking away from her and towards the bird that now sat outside a branch. Ina wanted to make small talk, but she couldn't quite say anything. Her mother usually sang to her while drying her hair as a kid, but she didn't think it was appropriate to do that for him.

"I mean he's a freaking stranger. Why am I even drying his hair?" she wondered.

Setting down the hairdryer, Ina got off the bed and walked over to her closet for a towel, hoping to find some clothes for him. He looked to be as tall as her brother Jungha but he was a bit thinner than him.

As she turned around to ask his size, her eyes couldn't believe what she was seeing. From head to toe, he was dry. His clothes looked almost warm as if they had been worn straight out of the dryer, and her bedroom had not a single sign of water ever being there.

"How did you?"

He smirked while looking deep into her eyes.

"You think I couldn't do as much?"

"H-how did you- What the heck are you?" she finally breathed out, taken aback by his strange actions.

"We seriously need to talk. But not here. Know anywhere more private?" he asked nonchalantly.

"I might know a place," Ina mumbled, looking at him as he got up from the bed and walked over to look through her window.

It was bright outside, but the clouds still loomed overhead, threatening, with more rain possibly in store. The rumbling of thunder echoed into the town's sky. She felt uneasy. Could she simply follow him without fearing for her safety?

"Well then, let us go," he finally said out loud, Ina nodding before running to get a jacket.

Was she really about to follow that stranger into the street?

What if he hurt her?

"Too late now Ina. You saw he could do some bippity boppity boo shit with his mind. What if he turns your family into rocks?"

Nervously, Ina followed him towards the window, peeking down at the slight elevation there was from the ground to her room window. She had always been a bit scared by it. She use to feel safe since she thought burglars couldn't get in (but was proven wrong by the guy in her room), and it also made her feel intimidated.

"Here goes nothing," she said, her eyes shut tightly, hoping she would at the very least land on her feet.

And with one last leap of faith, she climbed out of her room and let her body fall.

"Hey, Hey. Miss, could you please open your eyes?" Yoongi asked.

Ina slowly let one of her eyes open, looking up at Yoongi who had been holding her between his arms. He must have caught her, his eyes narrowing sounding annoyed at where she had landed. The clouds above her formed a halo around the man's head, his face pale white in comparison to the grayed-out clouds. If she hadn't been so terrified of him, she would have rejoiced in the proximity of such a handsome man to her. However, she also knew pretty boys came with their own baggage and was not ready to deal with his.

"T-thank you," she mumbled to him, Yoongi letting her go immediately, her butt hitting the ground hard as he turned to look at a blackbird now perched on a bush near them.

"Where to?" he asked.

Ina stood back up on her feet, wiping the dirt off her behind before pointing at the narrow street ahead. She was peeved but not surprised. What else could she expect from a mere stranger?

"There's an abandoned park nearby. We can go there," she answered, a bit annoyed at being thrown on the ground like a rag doll.

"Not private enough," he groaned.

"Well then. Any other place you can suggest for us to go?" Ina asked, cocking her hip out while letting her hand rest on her side.

Why did he want a private place she wondered.

"Maybe he wants a private place to kill me!!" Ina thought, shivering at the thought of being alone with the stranger.

He shook his head, walking towards her with a sense of relief coming from his facial expression.

"Look, miss I just recently learned how to do this, but do you happen to have a broom?"

"A broom?"

She turned to look back at her home. The outside wall was made of stone and the stairs that led up to her door had potted plants on the side. Near her door, in a small corner stood an old used broom, the tip nearly falling apart while the handle's color was chipped away.

Smiling, Yoongi extended his hand out, mumbling something before making the broom move up into the air and start hoovering closer to them.

"Wait! How are you doing that?" Ina questioned, mild panic coming from her voice.

"I've said it once and I'll say it again. I'm not human."

"Are you an alien?" Ina asked concerned, wondering how a person could just suddenly make a broom fly out of the blue.

"I don't know what that is, but no," he responded, finally standing next to her.

Placing an arm around her waist, Yoongi jumped slightly while holding her tightly, Ina being caught off guard.

"What are you-"

"Be quiet and don't move. If you fall it won't be my fault," he groaned at her, holding her tighter as his legs balanced on the side of the broom.

Slowly, the broom moved higher and higher into the sky, Ina's eyes shutting close as they moved.

Her arms were now around his neck, holding him tight as he continued to grab a hold of her side.

"Don't be scared," he mumbled.

"I promise not to let you go," he added in the most soothing voice he could muster up.

Ina nodded, continuing to hold him while her eyes squeezed even tighter shut.

That's when their position changed. The air hit her face rapidly, the movement around her nearly making her let go, but he pulled her closer to him.

"Ain't it beautiful?" he asked.

"WHAT IS BEAUTIFUL?" Ina yelled.

She felt as if the air around her made her voice all the quieter, her hair hitting her face while simultaneously entering her mouth.

Yoongi looked at her, noticing her eyes were closed shut and chuckling.

"Open your eyes miss. The view is great," he assured her.

Reluctantly, Ina let one of her eyes open slightly.

"FUCK'S SAKE!!" she yelled out.

They were far above her hometown, some of the city's buildings visible from where they were. The clouds around them left a small ripple of water around their arms, the droplets drying the faster they pushed through the wind. They were moving quickly through the sky, away from any sort of civilization. Down below them, the cement street was turning into a brush of trees, the air seemed so fresh and clean. Ina could feel the smell of wet grass and trees filling her lungs.

He was right.

It was beautiful.

"IS THAT WHERE YOU LIVE?" Ina yelled, Yoongi looking at the place she spoke of.

There was a large grouping of homes near the forest, Ina looking at it curiously. The wind made it hard for her to keep her eyes open, the sight of the roofs a bit hard to make out.

He shook his head, his hand relaxing on Ina's side.

Just as she was becoming more comfortable with her surroundings, a steep turn made Ina fall off the side of the broom they stood on, Ina yelping as Yoongi caught her.

"Hold on tight miss, we're about to hit colder air," he warned, Ina closing her eyes once more while taking a hold of his neck, tightening it between her arms.

"We are almost there," he added.

Ina nodded her head, opening her eyes once more to come and realize how far she was from home. Looking back, all she could see was a flock of blackbirds following them, the buildings and pavements nowhere to be seen, and in front of her?

In front of her stood a large snow-covered mountain, the place they were approaching looking like a small rundown village.

"SO, IS THAT WHERE YOU LIVE?" Ina yelled, Yoongi looking at the place she spoke of.

The burned down shacks, the smell of war and suffering. No, that wasn't his home but, it was the origin of his kind. The warlock's original village.

"No, I don't live here. No one living thing has lived there in centuries."

It felt odd to be there. It felt a bit grim to Yoongi, a sad reminder of his friend's fate, but he couldn't quite recall why it made him feel so uneasy. Looking around, Yoongi found a small patch of land to land on, slowly descending until the broom hit the ground, Ina still holding tightly of his neck.

"Miss, you can let go now," he muttered, removing her arms from his shoulder while Ina fixed her hair.

"Ah, thanks. And don't call me Miss. I have a name you know. Ina would be just fine," she stated.

Yoongi nodded, walking away from her and down a dirt path alongside a small cottage that was on their right, the grass at Ina's feet looking dead and yellow. Maybe it was the season that changed the color, but for some reason, Ina thought it was something else.

"Do you come here often?" she asked, following close behind Yoongi who was now approaching the side of the cottage they had seen when they landed.

"No. I usually come here to practice my long-distance flying but since I haven't had much time, I haven't been here."

"Do you know what those other buildings have inside?" Ina said while pointing at the village below them.

Yoongi paused, looking at the remains of the home of men who use to be just like him.

"Death. Skeletons and dried blood. Other than that, I haven't explored much inside."

Ina went silent, Yoongi opening the door of the small wooden cottage they had finally reached. It was no bigger than a tiny room, dust flying everywhere as they walked in. There was a small dining table in the middle of the cottage, some old baskets, and a worn-out wooden cot. The place must have been abandoned long ago, but it surprised Ina to see pots and pans near a pile of ash as if people had been eating there recently.

"Must have been burnt coal or firewood," Ina thought.

Yoongi walked over to a turned-over metal bucket near an old window made out of wood. It seemed out of place from the rest of the cottage, probably something that had been brought in from the outside.

"The bed looks old but you can definitely sleep on it, go ahead and sit," he offered, Ina bowing her head slightly before walking over and sitting opposite to him.

"So, what would you like to talk about?" she finally asked, her hands resting on her lap.

"What you saw. I need to explain everything. I need to explain what I am. But I also need to ask you something," he said, his hands clasped together as if thinking, his fingers against his lips as his elbows rested against his thighs.

"What do you want to ask?"

"Miss Ina, are you a witch?"
