Ina scanned the area, the forest getting darker as they walked.
The wind.
The wind was still just as persistent, even though rows upon rows of trees appeared to block the majority of the sun's light.
Ina's legs became entangled by some of the roots that were spread out on the forest floor, Casper and Jungha pulling at them simultaneously to get them off her.
She felt odd, a sensation that bubbled up from the pit of her stomach. She felt like someone was staring at her, her hand holding the back of her brother's hood to guide her through the darkness.
"Is this actually the right way?" she whispered, Casper nodding in response.
They walked and continued to follow him, Ina being unsure if she was just being let on by her crazy ass dog. He simply smiled, Ina and Jungha looking towards a large glowing light at the end of the forest.
It was as if the light at the end of a tunnel, the one many wished to see when they were in bad situations. It was a warm light, one that made Ina curious as to what could be on the other side of it.
"Is that the portal?" she questioned, her hands holding onto Jungha's sweater tighter.
"I think so," Casper whispered, Ina's eyes going wide.
"'Think'? Shouldn't you be positive that it is?"
Casper shrugged.
The closer they got to the light, the warmer the sensation in the pit of Ina's stomach became.
Just as they got a foot from it, Casper's smile morphed into a sinister grin, Casper grabbing both of their arms.
With no warning, Casper jumped into the portal, pulling Ina and Jungha with him.
Ina closed her eyes, her free hand going to press the crow she had in her hood closer against her chest.
She could feel herself falling, Ina opening one eye slowly, the wind hitting her face making it difficult to do so.
There were clouds around them, both Ina and Jungha began to scream as if their life depended on it while an unbothered Casper appeared to be enjoying the way down.
"CASPER ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY?" Ina yelled out, her eyes frantically scanning the area below them in hopes that they would land somewhere safe.
"NO I'M NOT CRAZY," he yelled back calmly. All Ina could see were clouds, the air frigidly biting at her cheek.
"SO WAS THIS PLANNED?" Jungha interrupted, his eyes pleading with each word.
Casper shrugged, "I THINK I PULLED US IN TOO EARLY."
"WHAT?!" "WHAT!!" Ina and Jungha roared out simultaneously.
"I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!" Jungha screeched, all of them still continuing to fall.
Casper flung out his arms, a darkened white sparkle appearing to leak through his fingers.
"VEDAGRAI" Casper yelled.
The fluffy white clouds that surrounded them dispersed, clearing the view for them, Ina noticed a large cliff appearing before them.
"HOLD ONTO ME!" Casper hollered, both Ina and Jungha, who had let go of him when they had jumped, did their best to pull themselves close enough to get a hold of a part of Casper's body.
The shining of his hands increased, his eyes becoming as dark as the forest they had gone from, a wild smirk appearing on his face.
"Portelom" he whispered out, the feeling of falling becoming non-existent, Ina and Jungha's bodies disintegrating in the blink of an eye.
The next thing they knew, both of them stood next to Casper on the same cliffside they had seen, laying in front of them a wooden rope bridge, a thick fog surrounding them once again.
"W-what just-"
Ina's sentence was cut short, Jungha letting go of Casper before walking off behind them and beginning to projectile vomit.
"It's just something I can do. Nothing special," Casper scoffed, sounding contempt.
"I feel like I just aged 60 years," Jungha wheezed out, Ina's legs giving out.
She fell to the ground, taking a deep breath while blinking repeatedly.
"If you ever do that again Casper, I will actually choke you," Ina mumbled.
"What? I couldn't hear-"
Ina pushed herself off the floor like a bullet, grabbing at Casper's collar.
She gazed deep into his eyes, rage seething from them.
Casper angled his head, squinting while looking into Ina's eyes. He felt like daggers were burning through him, an odd shiver running up his spine making him push away from her.
A whimper escaped his mouth, his body immediately going back to his dog form. Casper walked behind Jungha who was still not done puking, some of his vomit hitting Casper square in the face.
"YUK!" he groaned out, Ina's eyes still fixated on him.
"Would you chill?" Casper barked at her.
He had begun to paw at his face, pulling some of the vomit off, slowly transforming back into his human form.
Ina relaxed her eyes, turning away from them and glancing at the ladder that lay across from them.
The added extended out for at least half a mile, Ina slowly letting her eyes scan up above the foggy area.
She could vaguely see the top of a cliff opposite to where they were standing, a portal emerging behind them that made Casper smirk.
"Should have waited a minute or two," Casper chuckled, Ina, glaring at his comment.
"So where are we?" she asked, Jungha joining her at the edge of the small side cliff they were stranded on.
"Crossing this bridge is the library that Miss Agnes used to come to study at. She left many of her old journals and books there," Casper responded, holding a towel he had pulled from Jungha's bag and wiping his face with it.
"I see. So, we have to cross this bridge?" Ina mumbled both she and Jungha swallowing loudly.
"Yeah, here, follow my lead."
Casper walked past them, Ina opening her backpack and placing the crow with the hoodie wrapped around it, inside. Casper stepped onto the bridge, the wood under his feet creaking when he did. The rope looked sturdy enough, Casper taking a few more steps before Ina and Jungha followed close behind him. The bridge swayed left and right with the weight of them combined, Ina squeezing the rope tighter with every step they took.
"I don't feel so good," Jungha groaned, his legs a lot shakier after emptying the contents of his stomach moments prior.
"I-its okay Jungha, just don't look down," Ina comforted, Jungha struggling to keep his eyes focused on the back of her head.
"Don't worry kids, this bridge was constructed by a wonderful familiar named Kai. He was the best bridge builder back in my day," Casper assured them.
"Well, how long ago was that?" Ina disputed.
"Ina, my dear Ina, don't fret about the details. The point is, we are safe. There's nothing that could go-"
"Don't you dare finish that sentence, Casper," she threatened.
"Whenever people say that something most definitely goes wrong. Just keep walking and don't say anything," Ina scolded.
"Why so mad? You sound angrier than usual Ina," Casper questioned.
"Just keep moving," Ina urged, glancing back to peek at a pale Jungha.
They slowly continued on, the end finally coming into view. Ina's hands were sore from holding onto the rope so tightly, her knuckles turning white from the sheer grip.
"We're almost there!" Casper cheered, Ina turning to check on Jungha.
"You hear that Jungha? We're almost there, just keep-"
"Ina...I looked down," Jungha wheezed out, his eyes hyper-focused on the ocean beneath him.
There were sharp rocks lining the edges of the cliffs below, Jungha's legs quivered at the sight of what appeared to be gigantic sharks beneath the crashing waters. The figure was long, like that of a whale, but the fin that appeared was not that of a whale.
"It's okay Jungha just hold my hand-"
A large gust of wind began picking up, Ina moved back towards Jungha as quickly as she could.
"INA WATCH OUT!" Casper yelled out, trying to walk toward both of them.
Ina glimpsed back, a sudden burst of wind hitting both her and Jungha, knocking her to one side and flipping her off the bridge. Her arms grabbed onto the rope, Jungha paralyzed in place.
"HELP!" Ina yelled, her eyes darting down at the water below.
That's when she too saw the creatures that swam beneath. She felt uneasy, terrified to put it simply.
Her hands grasped onto the rope with all her strength, Casper making his way towards her. Just as he reached Ina, the sound of wood cracking made them both set their eyes in the direction of Jungha. The wood beneath him looked to be breaking slowly, Casper freezing in place.
"Jungha! Jungha listen to me! Do-not-move!" Casper shouted.
"Jungha!" Ina yelled.
"Jungha listen to me!" Casper joined, both of them continuing to yell his name in hopes of a response.
"Please listen!!" Ina yelled once again.
The wind continued to howl through the area, the fog soon dispersing with it, Jungha unresponsive to the cry of his sister. Jungha's eyes were wider than Ina had ever seen them before.
The cracking of the wood became bigger, and Ina's heart began to race.
"Fuck it," she thought to herself.
Ina glanced back down, and with one last deep breath, she began to move along the rope of the bridge, moving ever so slowly closer to her brother. She paused whenever the cracking of the wooden board beneath her brother's feet made noise, her eardrums feeling her heartbeat.
"Jungha, please listen to me," she begged, Casper unsure of what to do next.
"Hold on, Ina, don't be so rash!" he whisper-yelled.
"Jungha why aren't you moving," Ina shouted, her voice trembling with every shake of the bridge rope.
The wind continued to blow with even more intensity, Ina's hands began to feel numb from holding her weight up.
"Casper, I can't hold on much longer!" she yelled.
Casper moved forward more steps, extending his hand out at just the right angle for Ina to grab, but she didn't.
"If I let go, I might fall!" she yelled.
Casper shook his head, moving his hand to suggest for her to grab it. The sound of a loud snap made Ina's eyes widen, Jungha finally looked up at Ina, a loud sharp scream leaving his lips.
Without hesitation, Ina flung herself at him, gripping his body tightly while peeking down.
They were headed straight for the water, Casper leaping off the bridge as soon as they fell, his arms stretched forward in hopes of reaching them.
The wind nearly popped Ina's ears, Jungha finally snapping out of the daze he had been in.
"INA NO!" he yelled, Ina's eyes becoming a fiery red color.
Ina closed her eyes, bracing for impact into the water, but the wind suddenly stopped. She felt her body floating, not in the water, but in the air. Her eyes opened, Casper holding onto both of them, but he too was just as puzzled as they were.
Casper turned to look at the other side of the bridge, a large bird perched on it. The bird's wings were extended outward, the tip of its feathers slowly shrinking into human-like fingers, his beak forming a human face, one that was expressionless, and his bird feet becoming human legs.
"KAI!!" Casper yelled at the top of his lungs.
The man examined them, his hands making a "come here" motion before all three began to float towards him.
"Kai! Old buddy old pal!" Casper yelled once he touched the ground.
The man ignored him, turning to look back at the bridge. With a single snap of his fingers, the bridge disassembled itself. The Man jumped off the edge of the cliff, his arms becoming wings once again, and with one large gust of wind from them, the bridge reassembled and fixed itself.
Ina got off the floor, helping Jungha up to his feet while glancing over at the man. His feathers were a dark brown, with no sound coming from them like that of owls when hunting.
As quickly as he had appeared he disappeared, Casper turning around to face Ina and Jungha.
"Are you guys okay?" he asked worriedly, Ina nodding slowly before Jungha turned to hug her.
"I'm sorry I froze," he whimpered out, Casper rolling his eyes at his words.
"I wasn't going to let you die," Casper scoffed, Ina turning to glare at him. She shook her head, not having the energy to even begin arguing with the knucklehead that was her dog. Instead, she moved her eyes back onto her brother and began patting him down, checking for any scratches. Patting his back, Jungha did the same, his hands going up to rub his sister's checks, both so cold and red that it made his hands instinctively jolt back.
"Who was that, by the way?" Ina asked, Casper looking off to the distance before glancing back over at Ina.
"Kai, the familiar of Jinsa and an old acquaintance," he smirked.
"Why didn't he say anything?" Jungha mumbled, his trembling hands holding onto Ina's arm.
"He did. With his eyes. He called me a useless bastard before leaving, the little shit," Casper muttered to himself.
Ina rolled her eyes. The one named Kai was not wrong. He must have been angry that they had broken his bridge by the looks of it.
"Well, here we are, the library. Now, I must remind you again, the name is Xiumin," Casper added, Ina looking up at the massive sculpted metal frame that the cliff they were on, had.
It was decorated in swirls, a large metal door slapped in the middle. The wind was still cold, the clouds outlining the edges of the cliff where the door stood. Trees were wrapped around the rocks as if holding the door and rocks in place. It felt so unreal, like something out of a book.
"Shall we?" Casper urged, Ina and Jungha following close behind him.
The ground beneath them was a reddish color, the wind going silent. There was a sense of anticipation coming from the eerie silence that now filled the area. Making their way to the door, Casper gave one loud knock, the atmosphere going stiff. They waited, Ina unsure of what to expect.
The door slowly opened, a familiar face receiving them.
There he was, Yoongi, the same man that had scared Ina shitless, the same man that lowkey kidnapped her, an apron around his waist, a cute bear headband on his head, and pink cleaning gloves up to his elbows.
"You again?" Ina yelled, her finger pointing at him out of surprise.
"Aw fuck."
◇
Casper walked right in and past Yoongi, Yoongi's face scrunched up, annoyed.
He was absolutely not expecting her to be there of all places, assuming she was not a witch. She, of all people, was the last person he wanted to meet. What if she told on him, he wondered. Or better yet, what if she had gone there to drag him back to the other witches in the village? His mind was creating all sorts of scenarios, his face going towards his brother.
Jungi was sweeping away unaware of the people who had arrived, the lights suddenly becoming dim.
Ina scanned the room before her. It was huge, bigger than any museum she had ever been to. There were shelves upon shelves of books lining each wall, from the bottom up to what appeared to be a third floor that was open to the main area. The smell of musk and damp water oozed from the shelves, all of his rimmed with oak wood frames.
The place gave an antique feeling, the room's ceiling was covered in spider webs, and the floors below had holes here and there that made the entire place look abandoned.
"Hyejin!! Hey, Hyejin!!" Casper yelled out into the open room.
There was a small door next to the entrance that creaked open, a woman in a gray cloak coming out of it. She stood hunched over like an old lady, long gray hair cascading at her sides. Ina and Jungha stared at her in anticipation, Yoongi simply ignored them for a moment and went back to cleaning.
"Rino! I haven't seen you in forever!" the old lady cheered, her voice raspy and low.
She walked over to where they were, Yoongi closing the door behind them while the lady hugged Casper.
"Hyejin, been a century. I've missed you too, I see you got new familiars," he smirked, motioning over at Yoongi and his brother with his head.
Ina looked over at them. She recognized Yoongi, but not the other man. Was he a familiar like Casper and the man they had seen outside, Ina wondered.
"Oh silly, no. Those two kids are from Igna. They appear to have been running away from the chaos," the old woman said, her eyes falling on Jungha and then Ina.
She scanned them, her expression was unreadable.
"Yeah, we heard from Agatha. I never saw you as the type to take in orphans though," Casper muttered confused.
"We aren't orphans!!" Yoongi lashed out, Jungi dropping the hammer he was holding and pulling Yoongi back.
"Dear me, you struck a nerve Xiumin. Be more kind when speaking to these young men. As the youngest said, they are not orphans, as of yet. They brought their badly injured mother here and are just helping me clean up while I attempt to find a way to help," the old lady mediated.
"Ah, I see. I apologize for my rudeness. I had no idea what I was saying and was out of line. I just assumed since you two were males from Igna that you were orphans," Casper excused.
Yoongi let himself calm down, turning to get back to cleaning.
The man was right, Yoongi thought. From what he recalled, most of the male children were often abandoned by their mothers, some being sent to the human world if they didn't show signs of having magic. It wasn't odd for kids to disappear either, some of the witches selling them off to families who wanted sons in the human world. Although it was frowned upon to sell off males in Igna, it was a common practice in other villages, one the Elder Witch Merla had hoped to completely eradicate when Yoongi was 5.
"I see you brought kids of your own, any of them your new master?" the lady asked.
"No, these are her grandkids. We came here looking for her spell books, that's about it, mind guiding us to them?" Casper answered.
"I wish I could be of help Xiumin, I really do, but you see, I am losing my eyesight. Those damn followers of Merla put a destructive curse on me. I can't make out many words any longer, and I had these young men help me look through books but they can't read witch scripture, so I had them clean and fix places while I rest."
"So you're making them servants?" Casper said, judgingly.
"No not-"
The woman glanced at him angrily, Yoongi and his brother ignoring them while continuing to clean. He didn't care why they were there, he just wanted them gone. His brother continued to attempt and fix the holes in the wooden floor, Yoongi turning his focus to a stack of books on the table near the door. Ina observed the woman's face closely. The woman's eyes had become a milky white, a glowing green scar forming between her eyebrows and down to her cheeks. It looked like something out of the movie Aliens, it resembled a face-hugger from the way it extended onto the sides of her temples. Her skin was wrinkled and pale, her back hunched over making her far smaller than Ina.
"That explains why you are in your old lady form. They must have cursed you during your past life, no?" Casper asked, the woman nodding at his words.
"Come with me," the woman said, Casper, Ina, and Jungha walking behind her.
They were led towards a door that was down in a sunken area near the middle of the room, a short set of steps leading to it.
"I believe the last of your grandmother's books are in here," the woman informed, taking off a key from around her neck.
Before opening the door, she took a hard look at Ina, her hand reaching towards her and holding her pendant.
"The Moon of Soul's pendant. That rascal was able to create it," she mumbled to herself.
"Tell me, girl, do you know the functions of this pendant?" the old woman asked.
"My father told me it can protect me and it can send me home. Those are the only functions I know it as," Ina replied, the woman looking satisfied with her answers.
"It can be used to heal people as well, it can break spells essentially."
Yoongi's ears perked up at the sound of that.
"So, I can heal your eyes?" Ina asked, the woman nodding.
"Help my mother!" Yoongi interrupted them, dropping a rag he had in his hands and walking over to Ina, his eyes pleading at her.
Ina went silent, unsure of what to do next.
"My mother's been poisoned and if we don't hurry she could die," Yoongi begged, his brother walking over to him and pulling him to his side.
"Please I beg you, she's all we have left," Yoongi cried, his eyes filling up with tears.
He couldn't let her die like he had let Jimin die. Now that he was able to save someone, especially his mother, he would do anything to keep her alive and well.
Ina hesitated. If what Yoongi was saying was true, that could be the only chance of having his mother come back to life. She wondered if his magic could save her, but from what she remembered, his magic seemed weak in comparison to all the magic she had been a witness to only moments earlier. Ina turned to look at the old woman, her eyes glinting at Ina.
"Let me heal your eyes," Ina asked, Yoongi nearly lost his shit and attempted to get a hold of Ina's arm, his brother grabbing him and pulling him back.
"Wise choice," the old woman smirked.
Ina's pendant began to glow, blue hues escaping the moon hanging from her chest.
The hues enveloped the old woman's body, her cloak disappearing along with the wrinkles on her face. The face-hugger-looking scar began to shrink. her eyes filling with color, and her face becoming younger-looking.
They all took a step back while they watched the woman's transformation. Her long hair became jet black, her hands became young, and her skin was a light caramel color. Her eyes looked to have the power to pierce through your heart at any given moment.
As her body floated upwards, the now young-looking woman stretched her hands out, a slender metal pole flying to her side, the woman placed her feet on it and stood upright, her shoes, which had a heel to them, locking onto the pole.
Pushing her hands up above her head, a green shining beam began to flow from them and reached onto the room's walls. The bookcases became cleaned as the beams dispersed in the room, the walls and ceiling full of cobwebs changing from dirty to brand new and shining. The cracked floor transformed from wooden to tiled, and the door that she had led them towards disappeared and became an arched area with bookshelves all around her. When the transformation was complete, the woman sat on the metal pole and looked over at them, one of her eyebrows arching upwards.
She was beautiful, to say the least, Ina used her hand to close Jungha's gaping mouth. She smirked at them, Casper casually examining the bookshelves for something.
"How about helping me look for some books? We might be able to find a cure for Yoongi's mother if we all searched together," she suggested, giving them a wink before falling to the floor and beginning to search.
Casper took a step forward, going to another bookcase before looking over at Ina and Jungha.
"Well, I guess the spell books can wait, let's go guys!"
◇
The books seemed to go on forever, Ina placed the book she had in her hand on one of the many stacks she had surrounding her.
"Find anything?" Casper asked, poking his head through one of the shelves.
Both Ina and Jungha shook their heads, Yoongi's brother approaching them with a tea set in his hands. He looked older than Yoongi, that was for sure, but now that the lights were brighter, she saw the resemblance. His jaw, lips, and nose were the same as Yoongi's, but his eyes were larger, his cheekbones higher and puffier than his younger brother's. His clothes were old-looking as if they had been taken straight out of a 2000s fashion magazine. His T-shirt was large and his jeans were a bit wide around his legs. His hair was a dark brown, Yoongi's hair matching his at that moment.
"I'm sorry my brother and I aren't of much help. We can't read Witch script, if not we would help you guys out. It is for our mother and I feel ashamed that we are so useless when you are here attempting to help us out. But here, I hope this can make up for it. And I apologize for not introducing myself earlier, my name is Jungi, and that is my younger brother Yoongi," the man said apologetically.
Ina glimpsed over at Yoongi, her eyes digging into his skull. She knew who he was, and she knew his dirty little secret too.
"So not even his brother knows," she thought to herself.
From what everyone had told her, it was best not to say anything about his magic, knowing well that if he were to be found out, he most likely would be killed. Her father had thought he was the last of his kind, but she knew now that there were at least three wizards in the world. Jungha, her father, and the young man named Yoongi.
"Thank you, and nice to meet you Jungi, my name is Ina and that kid over there is my younger brother Jungha. The man is Xiumin, our grandmother's familiar. Nice to meet you," she said, extending her hand out for him to shake.
Jungi looked puzzled for a moment before extending his hand out.
"So that makes you a witch?" he questioned.
Ina nodded, Casper strolling over and taking the tray from him.
"I wish these books were in order. I can't find a damn thing on poison spells," Casper groaned, pouring some tea for himself while making the tray float.
"Yeah, I found a spell to make my hair change colors," Jungha huffed out, Ina's eyes darting over to Yoongi who appeared unaware.
"Well, that does sound like a good basic book, but it's not the one we are looking for," Casper sighed.
"I FOUND THEM!" Hyejin, the woman, exclaimed.
"You found the book on poison spells?" Casper cheered, Yoongi finally looking up from where he was standing.
He had been helping Jungi make tea for everyone, but once he was done, he simply kept looking off into space. The fact that the woman had found the books made him hopeful, his eyes turning to where she was. Hyejin placed six books on the floor, spreading them out in front of everyone. Yoongi's eyes widened when he saw them, a particular book catching his eyes.
"Out of these six books, one of them has the spell needed. The young boy was reading them when he got here. He knows which one it is," Hyejin smirked, glancing over at Yoongi, giving him not a second to react.
"Me?" Yoongi questioned, pointing at himself.
"How would he know? All of it is in Witch writing. We can't read-"
The woman raised her hand to stop Jungi from continuing his rant. Jungi immediately turned his face towards his brother, his eyes widened.
"He merely feigned ignorance. That kid can read it. I heard him deciphering the words," Hyejin assured them.
Yoongi swallowed hard, his brother staring at him confused.
His hands balled up, Yoongi going through every way of denying that he knew how to read it. If he continued to pretend to be unaware, what would be the fate of his mother, he wondered. Would she come to die because of how stubborn he was?
"I-"
Yoongi looked over at his brother, his eyes were apologetic.
He pointed at the last book, the cover tangled in what looked to be a root of some sort.
"Yoongi?" his brother said timidly and full of confusion.
"I... I'm a monster Jungi... I can wield power," he confessed, tears filling his eyes.
His brother went silent, walking over to ruffle Yoongi's hair. It wasn't the time or place to get mad at him, nor had he a single word of anger for Yoongi. Jungi smiled sadly. Once it all went back to normal, would he be able to ignore what his brother was?
"I knew. Deep down I knew, and to be honest, I wished you weren't," Jungi let out.
"But I couldn't read all of it. Some of the words are foreign to me," Yoongi added, "I believe only the original owner might be able to read the book. Agnes K. Lee. We should try finding her and have her read it to us."
"We can't," Ina intervened.
"Woman, it's the only way-"
"She's dead," Jungha continued.
"How could you possibly know that? This is the woman my brother and I have been looking for to help us. She has the answers to-"
"Yoongi, that woman was our grandmother. She died four years ago. There's no way we can get her here even if we wanted to," Ina revealed, Yoongi's eyes widening in shock.
"No, that can't be," he argued, a heavy feeling filling his chest.
"Maybe we can have a look and see if we can understand it," Jungha said, hoping a little positivity would help the atmosphere.
Ina nodded, opened the book, and began to flip through the pages. Yoongi walked over, pushing some of the pages and pointing at once he reached the page that read GLEAMER POISON ANTIDOTE in big bold letters.
"Let's see, the scripture is readable- Ah. I see. Yoongi was right. This is foreign, but not in the way you think," Ina chuckled, everyone peering over her shoulders at the text.
"That's Spanish," Jungha muttered, taking the book from Ina and reading through it.
"What does it say?" Yoongi questioned.
"Here, pen and paper," Hyejin offered, Jungha thanking her and started to write.
"The affected patient needs to apply the antidote within a week of being affected. In a large bowl mix two swamp toad's eyes, boiled, a pure warlock's lock, a vile of Magic Tree Water, a piece of the person's lover or the last person they thought about before poisoned, a tear from death, and a pedal from the magic garden's shadow rose. The potion should turn the color of the affected's emblem and should be spread on the affected area for the fastest results. If the potion turns a color other than its emblem's color because of a mix-up in ingredients, you are able to save it by simply adding the correct ingredient. In the case of Enia Kim, her lover was mistaken for someone else and the potion was able to be saved by using the last person she thought about before being poisoned, ie. her mother." Jungha readout.
"Wow, you actually learned Spanish?" Ina said, surprised.
"It wasn't that hard. Grandmother taught me whenever she had spare time. I'm surprised you didn't decipher it, Ina, seeing as you actually know it better than I do," Jungha said, rolling his eyes.
"That's cool and all, but where are we supposed to get all these ingredients from?" Yoongi questioned.
"The vile of Magic Tree water. Isn't that tree in Igna? From what the elders said, it's the only thing keeping the Gleamers from running into the human world and into other villages. Wouldn't it be impossible to get any water from there?" Jungi questioned.
"You're not wrong their kid, but there's one more place that water can be obtained from. Actually, if I recall correctly, that place can also get us the swamp toad eyes. If I'm correct in my assumption, Agatha's place has swamp toads and her well connects from the main tree at Igna," Casper figured.
"That's right, she took me to that well. We should go and get the ingredients there," Ina replied.
"How about you and Yoongi go? Jungha and I can stay here with Jungi and make out the rest of the ingredients and where to find them. Hyejin, you think you can take them to the portal that leads to Agatha's place?" Casper ordered, Ina unable to argue back.
"Sure thing. Follow me you two," Hyejin motioned, Ina walked with her, Yoongi hesitating before trailing along.
"Oh, Grandma Agnes, what have I gotten myself into again."

So what do you guys think?
Do you think Jungi actually knew or maybe he was faking it?
Fun Fact: Jungi is 28 years old in this book.
Also Kai... Bro Kai wasn't planned till last minute.
Anyway, I'll try uploading another chapter soon, but you guys have to promise to keep filling my chapters with funny comments
