Just as Hayden and I got to the pavilion for dinner, Melody and Sarah came running up to us. Melody jumped on my back yelling,"Guess what Sarah helped me do!" "I don't know. What she do?" She smiled and yelling in my ear,"SHE HELPED ME CONTROL MY POWERS!!!" "Yeah! JIAYING STYLE," Sarah yelled, high fiving Melody as she jumped off of me. I laughed and covered my ears,"Jeez Mels you didn't have to burst my eardrums." She made a really cute thinking face and then smiled,"Yes. Yes I did." I rolled my eyes,"Whatever." All three of them laughed and sat down, Sarah next to Hayden and Melody next to me. We all ate our food and then headed to the campfire and sat down as far away from our parents as humanly possible. The last thing I needed was my mother going crazy about 'Meloby', but I guess that's what you get for being a child of Piper McLean. I glanced at Sarah and Hayden and saw her leaning her head on his shoulder and Hayden wrapping his arms around her. Knowing Melody she was probably mentally yelling,"SAYDEN! SAYDEN! SAYDEN! KISS NOW!" Nico and Will walked to the campfire and sat down. Will along with all the Apollo kids at the campfire picked up a guitar or some sort of musical instrument and started playing chords and singing campfire songs. Soon enough everyone joined in the singing. I looked at Melody and smiled at how happy she looked. I held her hand and laced my fingers with hers. She looked at our hands and smiled.
As soon as the campfire ended Sarah, Hayden, Melody, and I all started walking back to our cabins. Chiron was letting our parents stay in the big house, you know because they're the 'Heroes of Olympus' and all, so now some of us would get a whole cabin to ourselves. I walked Melody to Poseiden Cabin and stopped outside. "That was the most fun I've ever had in my life," she said, swinging our hands back and forth. "Yeah they have one every night. The campfires are the absolute best." I couldn't help but stare at her. She was absolutely beautiful with the moonlight making her grey eyes sparkle. She looked at the door of Poseiden cabin and then at me,"Goodnight, Toby." She let go of my hand and opened the door to Poseiden Cabin. I grabbed her hand,"Wait." She looked at me and laughed quietly,"What? The harpies will be out soon, do you want to get eaten by harpies?" I laughed, pulled her closer to me, and put my hand on cheek. I pressed my lips to hers and kissed her and pulled away a bit later. "Goodnight, Melody." She smiled and bit her lip a bit before walking into her cabin and turning around and looking at me,"Goodnight, Toby." She smiled at me closed the door as I started walking to Zeus Cabin.
  I laid down in my bed in Zeus Cabin and looked at the gigantic Zeus status that was staring at me. I put my pillow over my head but I could still feel it staring at me. I looked at it again,"Hey Grandpa! If you're watching me through the statue, STOP BEING A STALKER IT'S CREEPY AND THE STATUE IS CREEPY TOO!" I turned away from the statue and closed my eyes, soon enough falling asleep.
I coughed as I looked up at the black clouds above me. I had my arm around Melody, helping her keep her balance as she half limped, half walked. She tripped on a rock and fell. When she hit the ground she sharply inhaled and looked at her leg. I looked at her leg, some of the black shards of glass on the ground sticking themselves into her leg. We managed to get some of them out of her leg as she reached into the bag that Damasen had given us a few hours ago, pulling out a cloth. "Here. Tie this around my leg. Hopefully it'll stop some of the bleeding," she said as she handed it to me. "Yeah it should," I said tieing it around her leg. I helped her up and looked at her. "Are you sure you're okay to keep going?" She nodded her head,"Yeah. We need to get to the doors of death by the time our parents get to the other side." "Okay," I said as we walked on. We made it a little distance from where Melody fell when I heard the sound of hissing around us. "Melody..did you hear that," I asked as I looked around us. "Yeah, I did. Let's just keep moving before whatever it is catches up to us." "Yeah let's do that." We started walking again as a group of creatures landed from the sky around us. They looked like they were furies, with their wings and monstrous face. I felt Melody let go of me and stand on her own as she pulled out her dagger from the bag Damasen gave us. I pulled out my sword and pointed it at them. "We are the Arai. We deliver the curses and you two shall get your parent's curses since you have none of your own," they hissed. They looked at Melody and walked towards her. "Melody Jackson," they hissed. I ran at them, hitting as many of them with my sword as I could,"STAY AWAY FROM HER!" They knocked me back and moved closer to her. I saw Melody hit them with her dagger, but it had no effect on them. I yelled,"MELODY RUN!" She looked at me and shook her head,"I'm not leaving without you!" Suddenly everything around us changed. We weren't standing in Tartarus anymore, but in the middle of a battle field. Melody was standing a bit away from me, fighting when I saw Zach appear behind her with a sword in hand, smirking from ear to ear. "Melody behind y-" I yelled, but he drove his sword through her chest right.
        I shot up in my bed, my forehead dripping with sweat. I got out of bed and grabbed a shirt, throwing it over my head. I ran to the big house and looked for Chiron. I walked in the big house and called,"Chiron?" I walked into one of the rooms to see both of my parents and Chiron. "Mom? Dad?" They all looked at me and Chiron said,"What is it, my child?" I looked at them and started talking,"I uh I had this dream and I was in Tartarus and-" I was cut off by Chiron,"Your parents had dreams of a quest as well that included getting you and Melody out of Tartarus." I looked at all three of them, confused,"So what does this mean?"  "You three are the other people in the prophecy," said Chiron.

I am so sorry I haven't updated this story in so long, but I promise I'll do it more often.
