All through second period I could tell that Melody wasn't telling me something. I don't know how but I know. Who know's we could have best friend telepathy. As soon as the bell rang Melody and I left together. "I know that you're not telling me something. Seriously, what's wrong," I asked. She opened her mouth to speak but then grabbed my arm and pulled me into the restroom we were walking by. "Okay are you going to tell me now," I asked as she checked each stall for people. "Yes. You know that earthquake this morning," she asked. "Yeah. What about it? Also how could you sleep through th-," she cut me off mid sentence. How rude...what up Full House reference, I thought, quietly laughing at our little inside joke. "It wasn't an earthquake. It was me. It's a long story," she said as the warning bell rang. "I'll tell you the rest later," she said walking very fast out of the restroom to get to her class. As I walked, wait no ran, to my next class I tried to piece together the fact that my best friend made an earthquake.
    At lunch she tried to tell all of us as much of what happened as possible. Izzy and Diana couldn't help but gape at the fact that her powers are to cause earthquakes. Hayden was pouting at the fact that he doesn't have powers. I was going crazy because of the fact that I think Melody and Toby would be Staticquake if they were together, you know without the part where Lincoln dies. As if on cue they both started blushing as soon as I mentioned that, earning them a whole lot of "awwwwes".  Finally Violet and Bianca were asking all kinds of questions about her powers. Of course this beautiful moment was ruined when the dick came and plopped his big ass down next to Melody. We all stopped talking as soon as her sat down. Toby, and practically everyone but Melody, was glaring at him. If I wasn't trying my very hardest to stay calm I would have ripped his eyes out by now. Unfortunately the bell rang before I could do that. All of our classes were in the same direction so we were walking together. "Hey do you guys want to hang out after school today," I asked. Everyone said yes. I pointed at Toby and Hayden and said,"No boys, that is unless you feel like holding our bags when we go shopping." "No thanks," Hayden said, reaching his class. Before he went inside I gave him a quick kiss. "Do we really have to go shopping," Bianca complained. "Heck no. I hate going shopping. We're gonna do other stuff I just said that so they wouldn't come," I smiled. Melody linked arms with me and said"Same brain," in a singsongy voice. "We wouldn't be living proof of best friend telepathy if we didn't have the same brain," I said as we all split up to go to our next class.
