"Finally," I say as I fall back on my bed. Sarah and I were finally done unpacking my room. Most of which involved throwing pillows and blankets at each other and arguing on if staticquake or skyeward is better. Let's just say that ever since lincoln came into the show Sarah and I have been having a little skyeward vs staticquake disagreement. Sarah then collapsed on the bed right after me and said,"So...do you surrender and say that staticquake is better?" I turn to face her and say,"Never. In your dreams." I grab my phone and play the one song that has been on an endless loop in our brains since we found it, Uh-Oh by Chloe Bennet. The song starts and I start singing with it. "I can't concentrate while you're messin with my brain," I start when Sarah cuts me off with the next words. "I can't think straight make me want to misbehave." After we ended up singing the entire song we fell on the bed laughing.
A few minutes later she sat up and looked at me with what I call the 'evil thinky face'. "This can't be good. You have the evil thinky face." She started smirking. This can't be good. "So...do you like Toby." I stared at her still trying to process what she asked me. Is she seriously asking that?! "Uh.....no.....absolutely not...i just freaking met him today," I said my cheeks turning redder by the minute. "OH MY GOD YOU DO LIKE HIM," Sarah practically yelled. I jumped on her covering her mouth. "Shut up," I hissed,"I do have parents who happen to be very good friend with his parents and just in case you didn't know, they are downstairs!" She laughed. "Yeah but it's not like they are listening outside the door." "You freaking yelled it!" "But you do like him right?" Should I tell her? I then hesitantly said,"Yes. No. Maybe. I don't know but please don't tell anyone." She crossed her heart with her fingers and said,"I promise." My" phone then rang and before I could see who it as Sarah did. 'OOHHHH!!!!! YOU GOT A TEXT FROM TOBY!!!! WHAT DOES IT SAY?" I rolled my eyes and snatched my phone. "Well how would I know if you still have my phone."
T: Hey Melody. My friend and I are going to hang out at the park tomorrow. Do you and Sarah want to come meet us there?
M: Yeah sure. What time
T: Around 2:30
M: K. See u then :)
T: Yeah. See u tomorrow
"OH MY GOD MELODY HE JUST ASKED YOU OUT," Sarah yelled. I yet again cover her mouth. "Shut up! Again, parents downstairs and that is not a date. He is asking US to meet him and his friend there!" Sarah smirked and said,"Whatever you say Mels."
