Ok so this chapter is supposed to be 14 years after Hera makes Melody disappear. Sorry for taking so long to update.

My name is Melody. The only reason that I even know that is because of this necklace I have had for my whole life. I am 15 years old. I have long, straight black hair and stormy grey eyes. I have always been told that I appeared out of nowhere in an alley. I was put in the foster system when I was about 3 years old. Almost every foster home I have ever been in has been horrible. I have also been kicked out of almost every school I have been to, except my current one. After my last foster home I got sick of it and I ran away. After I ran away I found this cool old timey hippie vans and guess what it was empty. My best friend, Sarah, is the best. I basically live in a van parked on her driveway. Sarah is also 15 years old. She has short brown hair. I'm really lucky to have her. Without Sarah, who knows where I would be right now.
I woke up to someone knocking on the front door of my van. I opened the door and almost knocked Sarah down. "Oh my god Sarah! I'm so sorry!" "It's ok. Just get up! It's the last day of school," she said. "Okay. Gimme a few minutes." I got out and grabbed my backpack and laptop. We walked for about  5 minutes and there it was. Goode High, home of the pervs. Hey, at least it was the last day of school. We walked in and were bombarded by our other friends Olivia, Ariana, and Mia. We were all discussing how awesome it was gonna be. Three whole months with no school. Finally the bell rang and Sarah and I ran out. We were walking to her house after we got pizza. "OOOHHHH MELS!!! LOOK AT THAT! LET'S GO LOOK AT IT," Sarah said pointing to the most delicious looking cakes ever in a bakery. "Haha. How about you go look at it and I wait out here for you." "Hm. Something's wrong with you. You don't want to go drool over food," she said with a suspicious look on her face. "Omg S! We just ate Pizza!" "Hm fine. I will go get some for us and then we can go," she said and then walked inside. A little while after a couple came over to me. The woman had shoulder length blonde, curly hair and grey eyes that kind of resembled mine. They guy had jet black hair and sea green eyes. "Um if you don't mind me asking, where did you get that necklace," the lady asked. "Oh this. I have had it ever since I was a baby. Why." She looked at who I assumed what her husband and said,"My name is Annabeth and this is my husband Percy and I think that we're your parents." Um did she just say what I think she said? Because I think she said that they are my parents. "Um say what now?" "We are your parents and we have been looking for you since you were one year old," Percy said. "Wait if you were looking for me then why did you give me up?" "We didn't the goddess, Hera, made you disappear on your first birthday," Percy said.  Wait what? Greek goddess? These people are crazy. "Ok you people are crazy," I said trying to look into the window to see where Sarah was. "No he's not crazy. Everything he just said is true. Both of us are Greek demigods and Hera made you disappear," Annabeth said. "No. You people are just crazy," I said. Sarah finally came out with a box with two slices of a cake. "Ok it took forever to get this cake. Who are they," she said. "Nobody. Come on. Let's go," I said as Sarah and I walked as fast we could away from my supposed 'parents'.
We got to Sarah's house and we were sitting in my van eating the cake she bought. "Hey Mels." "Yeah S." "Who were those people that were talking to you back there outside of the cake place," she asked. Should I tell her? I mean she is my best friend and we tell each other everything. "They were just some people who said they are my parents, but they are crazy," I replied trying to keep the part about 'demigods' to myself. "How are they crazy," Sarah asked. "They were saying that the Greek goddess, Hera, made me disappear when I was a baby and that they are demigods. Crazy right." Sarah looked at me with a surprised face and said,"Well...they kind of aren't crazy because my parents are demigods too." Wait what! "SARAH STOLL! YOUR PARENTS ARE DEMIGODS AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME!" She looked at me and smiled. "Maybe..I'm sorry Mels." "It's ok." "Ok now get on that laptop and do some kind of hacky thing to find your parents address." "OMG FINE, S!"

Hehehehehehe this is what happens when a kid has pith persassy and sassabeth in them. I had a lot of fun writing this chapter so I hope u guys like it.
