(Anna POV)

Charlie was pissed, to say the least about Bella taking off. Three days later, Edward comes back with Bella sleeping in his arms. Charlie threatens him and tells him that he can never step foot through the door again. A while later Bella wakes up in her room and finds Edward there. Edward promises to never leave again. They then start talking about Bella becoming a vampire. I see Bella's decision in her mind. So, I sneak out and go get in the back seat of Edward's Volvo. Edward and Bella then get in the car to head to his house.

"You know I'm going with you right?" I ask scaring Bella. "You are my sister I do get a say." Bella nods and then we arrive at the Cullen's. Everybody meets in the living room.

"You all know what I want. And I know, how much I'm asking for. The only thing I can think of for it to be fair is to just vote," Bella explains.

"You don't know what you just..." Edward starts.

"Just... shut up!" Bella tells him. She sees that Alice is all jittery. "Alice?"

"I already consider you my sister. Yes!" Alice says excitedly.

"Thank you," Bella says.

"I vote, yes. It would be nice to not wanna kill you all the time," Jasper says.

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry, both of you, for the way I've acted. And I'm really grateful that you were brave enough to go and save my brother. But this isn't a life I would have chosen for myself. And I wish that there had been someone to vote no for me. So... no," Rosalie explains.

"I vote hell yeah! We can pick a fight with these Volturi's some other way," Emmett says.

"I already consider you, a part of the family. Yes!" Esme decides.

"Bella, you already know which side I stand for. I understand that you love him and don't want to be without him. You're my sister and I just don't want to lose you. So I vote absolutely not," I explain to her.

"Why are you doing this to me? You know what this means," Edward says to Carlisle.

"You've chosen not to live without her, which leaves me no choice. I won't lose my son," Carlisle explains casting his vote. Bella, Edward and I leave.

"I'll wait until after graduation to make it easier on Charlie. I want you to be the one to do it," Bella explains. We come around a curve to find Jake in the middle of the road.

"He wants to talk to me," Edward says and we all get out of the car heading into the woods.

"See, you're still alive for now," Jake says.

"He thinks, it's me keeping you away," Edward says. I had subconsciously moved to Jake's side.

"You stay the hell out of my head," Jake orders.

"Jacob, I know you have something to say to me. But I wanna say something to you first. If that's alright?" Edward asks and Jake nods. "Thank you. Thank you for keeping Bella alive when I didn't."

"No, you didn't. And it wasn't for your benefit, trust me," Jake says.

"I'm still grateful. But I'm here now. And I'm not gonna leave her side till she orders me away," Edward explains.

"We'll see," Jake says and Edward starts to walk away. "Hey, my turn to talk. I'm here to remind you about a key point in the Treaty." I nod my head agreeing with his words.

"I haven't forgotten," Edward says.

"What key point?" Bella asks confused.

"If any of them bites a human, the truce is over," Jake answers and I nod.

"But if I choose it, it has nothing to do with you," Bella says.

"No... No, I won't let you. You're not gonna be one of them, Bella," Jake says.

"It's not up to you," Bella says.

"You know what we'll do to you. I won't have a choice," Jake explains.

"Bella, please come," Edward says trying to get her to leave.

"Wait. Is he gonna hurt me? Read his mind," Bella orders then walks to Jake. I step closer to Jake not knowing how this would go.

"Jake... I love you. So, please. Don't make me choose. Because it'll be him. It's always been him," Bella explains.

"Bella," Jake says.

"Goodbye, Jacob," Edward says pulling Bella away.

"No, you don't speak for her!" Jake yells grabbing Edward's arm. Edward flings him back and Jake phases.

"Bella, get out of here," Edward tells her while getting ready to fight.

"Stop!" I yell getting between them.

"Stop!" Bella yells doing the same. "You can't hurt each other without hurting me." Jake looks at Bella one last time before running off. "Jake?" I shake my head at her before running after Jake. When I'm sure I'm far enough away I phase.
