(ANNA POV)

The next day we go to Charlie's for Christmas. Bella and I stand by the window watching the snow.

"The snow is sticking," Bella says.

"Hey, we still have today," I tell her.

"I'm so glad Charlie found somebody to take care of him," Bella says and I nod my head in agreement as we watch Charlie and Sue.

"Bella, no one's giving up here," I tell her.

"Alright! Present time! Let's go!" Charlie says as he and Sue enter the room. I go sit by Jake who wraps an arm around my waist. Leah is on the couch and Seth is by Renesmee. "Seth, Leah, stop eating. Seth, you start. Get it going." Seth hands Renesmee a gift.

"Well, Dad, we didn't have time to wrap yours, but here it is," Bella says as she and Edward walk over to him and hands him the envelope.

"It's a 5-day fishing trip to Fraser River. It's for you and Sue. And it's from the five of us," I say as I point to Bella, Edward, Jake, Renesmee, and me. Bella nods in agreement.

"You leave tomorrow," Edward says.

"Wow, that's really nice. Thank you. Tomorrow? I can't leave tomorrow," Charlie says.

"I made arrangements for you at work," Sue says as she walks in with a beer for Charlie.

"Sneaky. And extravagant," Charlie says.

"And non-refundable, I'm afraid," Jake adds.

"You four trying to get rid of me?" Charlie asks. "Because it's working! Fraser River. That means we'll be chasing Cutthroat." Sue comes over and sits with him.

"We might even hook a Rainbow or some Bulls," Sue adds.

"Woman knows her trout," Charlie says which makes us all laugh.

"Hey, beautiful. Let me see," Bella says as she kneels beside Renesmee. "Seth make this for you? Wanna put it on?" Bella puts the bracelet Seth made on Renesmee's wrist.

"It's so pretty," Renesmee says which makes Seth smile.

"It is really pretty," Bella agrees.

"Okay, Jake I do believe it's your turn," Charlie says and I see Bella grab her phone. Jake walks over to the tree which is right in front of me. He kneels down like he is going to get something and I see Edward smile.

All of a sudden Bella's phone starts playing one of my favorite songs, "Marry Me" by Jason Derulo. I look over to Bella confused. I see movement out of the corner of my eye before Leah and Renesmee gasp. I turn and see Jake kneeling in front of me with a small back box. I gasp and cover my mouth in shock.

"I don't even know where to begin. I guess I'll keep it simple. I couldn't really find a better time to do this other than now. Anna, you are my best friend. Always have been and always will be. But you are also something much more than that. You are my soulmate. So, will you do me the extraordinary honor of marrying me?" Jake says as he opens the box to reveal Grandma Swan's ring.

"YES!" I say before throwing my arms around his neck. "A thousand times yes." Jake slides the ring on my finger before we kiss. Everyone cheers. I go hug Charlie since he had a part in it. After the excitement wore off we headed back to the Cullen's where the excitement picked back up. We all decided to stay near the battlefield that night. Seth and Jake carry some logs over before setting them down. Benjamin then throws a fireball at the logs which lights them.

"That's what I'm talkin' about," Jake says before he comes and sits by me while wrapping an arm around my shoulder. "A little pre-battle bonfire. Telling war stories. Or just standing there like frickin' statues." Garrett is then sitting near us in a flash.

"Name any American battle. I was there," Garrett says.

"Little Bighorn," Seth says.

"I came this close to biting Custer. But the Indians got him first," Garrett explains. In a flash, Kate is sitting on his lap.

"Try Oleg's assault on Constantinople. He didn't win that one on his own," Kate says.

"If you're talking battles, you're talking the Eleven Years' War. No one does rebellion like the Irish," Liam says as the Irish Coven joins us.

"You lost the Eleven Years' War," Garrett says.

"Aye. But it was one hell of a rebellion," Liam says with a smile. Everyone else then gathered around.

"When we ruled, everything came to us. Prey, diplomats, favor-seekers. Such was our power. But we never put on white hats and called ourselves saints," Vladimir explains.

"We were honest about what we were," Stefan adds.

"We sat still for a very long time. We didn't notice we were beginning to petrify," Vladimir says.

"Perhaps the Volturi did us a favor when they burned our castles," Stefan says.

"We've been waiting 1,500 years to return that favor. We have been ready to do battle for ages," Vladimir says.

"I'll be back. I need to talk to Bella," I whisper to Jake before walking over to the tent. Bella and Renesmee smile when I enter the tent.

"This means "More than my own life." That's how much I love you," Bella tells Renesmee as she gives her a locket. "Tomorrow I'm gonna need you to stay with Seth. No matter what. Even if I tell him that... That he has to take you somewhere. Anna and Jacob will protect you both." Renesmee starts to cry. "Hey. Baby, it's alright. You're gonna be safe. Always." Bella and I both hug Renesmee. Not long after, Renesmee falls asleep.

"I'll protect her with my life. All three of us will," I tell Bella and she nods. I bring her into a hug. "I love you, big sister."

"I love you, too," Bella says. "You deserve to be happy with Jacob." I smile at her before going back to Jake. I explain what is to happen to Jake and he agrees.
