Telling me that if it's meant to work it will

Telling me to wait for my time

Telling me to wait for the right person to pursue me

Telling me if they want me they'll make an effort

Telling me when I find the one I'll know

Telling me when I'm not looking for it I'll find it

Telling me someday all these heartbreaks will have been for a reason

Telling me it's better to have loved and lost than not loved at all

Telling me you can't buy love

Telling me patience is a virtue

Telling me my soulmate is out there

All these cliches
And nothing.
