It felt like hours before we finally got ot that same street, that Race and I grew up on.  As I walked down that familiar road towards the lodging house the only this that I had on my mind was 'will they hate me?' I looked at Alicia and gave her a warm smile before grabbing her hand. She knew I was scared to be going back but she always told me that running away doesn't solve your fears, it only creates them.

        She was so smart, and pretty, but she was nothing like her brother. He's always com planing about something and he's always in a bad mood, except for when he's around Tumbler. The closer we got to the lodging house the louder it got, and the scarred I got. "It's going to be ok." Alicia told me. I could feel my palms get sweaty, and my adrenalin levels rising, but the only thing I could think abot were those cold hard grey eyes, that I managed to soften. "It's time." Alicia told me walkign up to the door. I took a deep breath and opened the door, only to find 30 pairs of eyes on me, but the only ones I cared about were those cold hard grey ones that were standing righ in front of me. "Spot" I said choking on my tears. "Luna." he said not believeing I was here.

I couldn't take it anymore I forced my leg to move and I ran to him. He caught me in his arms, and wraped them around his waist. "I missed you so much." I whispered. I lifted my head up from his shoulder and looked into his beautiful stormy grey eyes. It was as if all time stopped, and it was just us. He didn't hesitate to crash his lips on mine. I felt that same spark I felt all those months ago, and with a single kiss, he fixed all the things that needed to be fixed, well except for my past. I kissed him back not really caring that the other boys were in the room. 

When we came up for air, he rested his head against mine. "I missed youse too." he said his Brooklyn accent stronger that ever. I unwraped my legs from around his waist and ran over to my brother. "Luna." he cried. Race and I just stood like that for minuets till the door opened. Race and I broke apart from the hug and looked at who just came in. I saw the faces of Blink and Skittery. The two looked around the room trying to figure out why it was so quiet, then Blink paled at the sight of Alicia. 

Alicia was looking at him, with sadness in her eyes, they didn't;t exactly leave on good terms, and it was all because of Skittery. "Ali?" Blink asked her. She nodded her head and ran towards him. He caught her in his arms and spun her around, then landing her on her feet and kissing her. I smiled at the two, they deserve a happy ending, not one where her brother ruins everything. "I'm so sorry Blink, I shouldn't have listened to Jacob, I never meant to hurt you." Alicia said crying. "I'm sorry too. I love you." Blink said trying not to cry. They just looked at each other for a moment then they kissed one more time. 

I looked over at Skittery to see his face red, and steam coming out of his ears. He stomped over Alicia and ripped her off of Blink. "What the hell?" Skittery asked his sister. "I told to stay away from him." he yelled. Shit was about to go down. "You don't control my life." she spat at him. "They left me in charge of you till you are 18, so that means I'm the boss of you, till you turn 18." he yelled at her. "Don;t you yell at her." Blink yelled. That pushed him over the edge, he dropped his sister and punched Blink.

Everyone was stunned. Nobody had EVER seen Skittery so angry. "Aw hell naw!" Alicia screamed. She lunged at her brother knocking him to the ground. She punched, kicked, bit, and scratched him, till he found his strength, pushed her off of him and slapped her. "DON'T YOU DARE TO THAT AGAIN!" he screamed. Alicia was frozen. She had never been hit, by anybody in her life. Blink was passed out on the floor, from the blow, and I was standing there fuming. He had hit my best friend. I stomped over to him, grabbed him by his shirt and dragged him outside. "Until you learn how to treat your friends and your sister, you aren't coming back inside. I don't care if it takes you all night, don't come back inside." I told him. He looked at me shocked but then smirked. "And who's going to make me?" he questioned. Before I could say anything I was on the ground, my cheek stinging.

I  looked up at him stunned. He was so violent. This isn't Skittery I thought. I was about to say something, but the boys came out, they looked confused on why I was on the ground, but when Spot saw the hnadprint on my face he lost it. He was fuming, I hadn't seen him this mad, since they day he told me he never wanted to see me again. In a split second, Skittery had taken him out, along with Race, Jack, Mush, Specs, Dutchy, Iety, Snitch, and David in a near two seconds. I looked at him to see he had Les, and Snipeshooter standing next to him, his hands forcefully on their shoulders. Snipeshooter looked scared, while Les was trying not to cry. 

Klopman came out to see what all the noise was and saw Spot, Mush, Race, Jack, David, Specs, Dutchy, Iety, and I all on the ground, and Skittery holding Snipeshooter and Les. "What is going on here? Skittery what on earth are you doing?" Kloppman asked the teengae newsie. "Oh you know, just having some fun, celebrating the return of Little Loony Racetrack." Skittery siad smirking. "You but those boys down now, and leave my lodging house at once." Kloppman told him. His eyes breifly flashed, with hurt, then flashed back to anger quicker than you could say Pulitzer. He dropped the two boys, looked at me, and smirked. "This isn't over, I'll be back, and next time with company." he said before walking away. ______________________________________________________
