Luna's p.o.v

That morning we set a plan. With Alicia's knowledge of the people in Texas she could get us two train tickets to New York, and we could be there in two days tops. When we arrived we would find a carriage that could take us to Central Park and from there, we would walk to the Manhattan lodging house, and everything will go back to normal.

Early the next morning we sent our plan into action. That morning Alicia talked to her friend and got us tickets to New York. "Ready to go home?" Ali asked. "Ready." I told her. The next two days were the longest days of my life. I could feel a pit growing in the bottom of my stomach the closer we got to New York. The only thought running through my head was, 'will they hate me?'. 

Ali slept almost the whole way there on the final day of the train ride. I could feel the pit growing bigger and bigger as I saw all the familiar buildings. As the train pulled into the station I felt like I could finally be happy again. "Ali, wake up. We're here." I told her a smile on face. She stood up with a smile on her face. "Are you ready to see Blink?" I asked her. She nodded her head, "I was born ready!" Alicia said saying her own catchphrase. I laughed at her and stepped off the train, and on to the familiar streets of New York. Walking through a crowd, the village is aglow
