Patience, his burden-Chapter 18
You stare deep into Google's eyes, surprised that he was currently right in front of you. "Google?' You repeat yourself. He nods his head before smiling. "Yes?" You suddenly smile before standing up and hugging him. "Oh my god...I haven't seen you in a long time." You whispered. "One year and four months to be exact." Google replied. You leaned back from the hug and smiled wider. "Oh, how I've missed you." Google's smile turned into a grin as he spoke. "I've missed you too."
Your smile turned into a grin too as you sat back down on the couch and pat the spot next to you, beckoning for Google to sit there. He allowed himself to sit down next to you as you spoke. "So why are you here? And how did you get here?" Google thought for a moment before replying. "Well, to be perfectly honest, Wilford sent me here. He knew that you were angry at him and Light, so he didn't think that you would want to see him. So, he sent me to cheer you up." Wilford did that? You thought as you made a confused face. "Hm, well just seeing you cheered me up...Although, I don't know what I'm going to do with Mark." You mumbled the last part, but it was still audible to Google. He placed a hand on your shoulder and smiled.
"Why don't you give him some time then?" He asked. You looked at the ground and sighed. "But how?" Google hesitated before answering your question. "You can come and stay with the Ipliers for a while." You looked up at him in shock. "I can do that?" "Of course you can! You visited Wilford in Mark's mind, didn't you?" You thought back to when you went to go question Wilford about Dark. "I still don't know how that was even possible..." You mumbled. "It's hard to explain." Google said. "All I can say is that the Iplier's somehow can make anything possible." You looked at the staircase and then back at Google. "I don't know..." You trailed off. "Come, it'll be fun." You stared at Google, thinking about your decisions.
After one minute-which felt like an hour-, you nodded your head. Google grinned and stood up, holding out his hand for you to take. You hesitated once more before slowly placing your hand in his and standing up. Suddenly, smoke started forming around the both of you. Before you knew it, you were on the train.
~Time Skip to Mark's mind~
You soon heard the familiar train whistle as the train came to a stop. You looked over at Google while standing up to see him still sitting down. "Are you coming?" You asked while smiling. He looked up and sighed as the doors slid open. He walked up to and smiled back before grabbing your hand gently and leading you off of the train.
The second you looked around outside, you regretted ever coming with Google. Your started shaking as you memories came flooding back to you. Where were you exactly? Well... "Welcome back to Wilford's 'castle'." Google chirped. You started tugging back on your hand, but Google tightened his grasp. You finally gave up after a few seconds and dropped your head down in shame. Why would Google do this? You thought as you both walked up to the oak wood doors.
Google knocked on the door twice as you glared daggers at him. He looked over at you and smirked. "How could you do this to me?" You spat. He shrugged. "I'm helping you by doing this, Y/N." Google insisted. You made a disgusted face at him before replying. "How? How is this going to help me?!" You exclaimed. Suddenly the oak doors opened up to reveal Glitch. He looked at you and smirked before looking up at Google. "Good to see that you're back, Google. Master would like to talk to you before seeing Y/N, though. He's in the dining room, so you could go visit him as I escort Y/N to her room." Google nodded before letting go of your hand and walking in. Right before he entered though, he glanced back at you. "You don't know the full story, Y/N. So don't go on assuming like I'm the bad guy...because I'm not..." He then turned back around and walked down the hallway before rounding right around a corner.
You stared at the corner that he turned for several seconds before sighing. As you stepped inside and walked next to Glitch down the hallway, you asked, "I assume that I still own the room at the end of the upstairs east wing?" Glitch shook his head as you both started walking up the staircase. "Unfortunately, no. That room is reserved for someone else." You reached the top of the steps and stopped before speaking. "Who is it reserved for?" Glitch opened his mouth to speak, but he looked behind you and nodded his head. "Him." You slowly turned around to be face to face with Light. You snarled before turning back around.
Glitch chuckled from your action before speaking. "You better treat him with respect, Madame." You cocked your head and made a confused face. "Why?" You asked. Glitch chuckled again before answering your question. "Because he's taking up the second throne. You'll refer to him as either King, Master, or Sir from now on." How did Light get the chance to take up a second throne? And why would Wilford even make a second throne? I thought he would want the royalty all to himself... Light suddenly spoke into your ear, making you jump a little out of surprise. "You're right. He does want the royalty all to himself. But, we made a deal." A deal to take up a second throne. You thought before inhaling unsteadily. "Glitch, please to make to my room." You demanded. Glitch smirked before nodding his head and leading you down the west wing. It killed you to do this, but it was as if it was you couldn't control yourself. You involuntarily glanced behind you to see Light smirking wickedly. You quickly turned back around and continued to follow Glitch.
You soon came up to a door with a gold and black design along it. Glitch opened the door and stepped to the side, allowing you to enter. You looked around the room-secretly admiring the fact that it was 2x bigger than your old room. The room was setup up like your old one- a vanity, king-sized bed, balcony, mirror, nightstands, separate bathroom, closet, two dressers... Wait.
"I didn't think Wilford would buy me much clothes as of to buy me two dressers." You mumbled as you drug you hand across one of the dressers. Glitch stifled a laugh which idmmediately caught your attention. You looked back at him as he leaned against the door frame. "He didn't buy two dressers just for you. One dresser is his, and the other is yours." Your body froze as you slowly looked down at the dresser that your hand was currently on. "That means..." You trailed off. "You share a room with Wilford." Glitch finished for you. A shiver ran down your spine as you quickly removed your hand from the dresser.
"Ok...thanks for showing me to my-...me and Wilford's room..." Glitch chuckled while nodding his head and leaving, closing the door gently behind him. You examined the room again before stopping at the mirror. You stared at your reflection for at least a minute before sighing and sitting on the bed. "I'm not being told everything..." You mumbled as you started to lay back on the bed. "I guess I'm just going to have to find out on my own..."
Google's POV
"Ah, yes, Google. How are you?" His wicked voice that could make a child cry echoed through the dining room. I nodded my head before sitting down in the chair opposite of him. "Fine. Y/N is currently up in your room. So, I guess your plan is going well?" Wilford nodded his head excitedly while smiling before clapping his hands twice. SexyMark and Drunkiplier entered the dining room with a bottle of wine and two glasses. The glasses were placed in front of both Wilford and I before the wine was smoothly poured. Wilford then swiped his hand- signaling for them to leave.
I stared down at my glass and remembered the three girls that used to be here. I was glad for I had heard that they escaped after the distatrous wedding a year ago. They deserved to leave. Anybody that is forced to work here deserves to leave. Wilford suddenly snapped his figures to try and get my attention. I looked up at him-almost snarling at how stupid his smile looked at the moment.
" I assume that you are awaiting your reward?" I shook my head. Wilford furrowed his brows as his face read the expression of confusion. "You don't?" I looked at my wine again before looking back at him. "Yes. My side of the deal doesn't exactly come into contact until the night of the ballroom celebration." Wilford suddenly smiled. "I can't wait for that. It's tomorrow, but still. I am known to be a very impatient man." I forced a smile before picking up my glass and taking a small sip.
"Google." Wilford said lowly as I placed my glass back on the table. "You have been very loyal to me, and I am thankful. But there is one thing that is.. persistently on my mind that I want to know." I straightened my posture in the chair and stared at him with false eagerness and honor to answer his question. "What is it, Sir?" I asked respectively. Wilford circled his finger along the top of his wine glass while staring down at it. His position in the chair was casual-one leg over his other as his figure was only slightly slumped in the chair. His eyes suddenly gazed up at me as his face stood dark and eerie. "What exactly was your side of our deal?"
My heart raced. I was fearing this question since our hands made contact for the deal only a couple of days ago. I stayed silent-thinking about what I could say that wouldn't be appointed as a lie. I closed my eyes and reopened them within a seconds time-span. Looking at him with my blue eyes, I smiled and spoke with the robotic voice that was given to me by my creator.
"Tomorrow, you will stand before the Ipliers with discipline in your left hand and power in your right. Tomorrow, you will rule over us. Tomorrow," My smile widened. "Tomorrow, my reward will be given. Tomorrow, I am to take both of your hands and guide them my way." Wilford snarled. "Tell me what the reward is, Google. Unless you want yourself decapitated." He threatened. My smile faded into a smirk. "I asked for thorns to be taken off of the rose." I suddenly stood up. "Wilford, patience is a virtue." He quickly butted in before I could continue my statement. "You know very well that patience is only considered a burden to me, not a virtue." He snapped. My smirk stayed plastered on my face as I placed my hands behind my back. "Of course. And as a king, I don't expect you to learn to control your burdens. But, it just so happens that you're not king until you place your over-powering ass on your throne and the crown is placed upon your head." "Your point?" He asked cautiously. With my voice as low as a whisper, I answered back. "Watch your back, sinner."
With that being my last and final statement-and also leaving Wilford frustrated and confused-, my smirk widened as I disappeared like breath upon a mirror.
