Back to Normal- Chapter 21

It was hard, but I stared Light in the eyes-thinking of my decisions. Every second, every minute of my time has come to this decision of which i didn't known until now that i had to make. "Y/N...please...i beg of you...please..." Light constantly continued to wail and beg. I could have smirked, i could have kicked him in the stomach-like i wanted to ever since his good side left him. My eyes closed as i breathed out a sigh. "Google..." I opened my eyes, now looking over at Google. His smirk was still plastered on his face. The same smirk that he wore the second he entered this room. "Yes?" His voice spoke as if he knew that i wanted him dead. If only he knew that i also pitied Light.

"Google...send him to Mark's mind-along with the rest of the Iplier." "And where will you be sending Light specifically?" He asked. I closed my eyes again. "Paradise. But don't forget to extract the pure blood from him." I opened my eyes to see Google again. His smirk had disappeared. "Are you sure you want that to be your final decision?" His robotic-like voice asked. I nodded my head before looking down at Light. He eyes were still wide, but he was smiling like the idiot he was. How happy he must be that I spared him.

"T-thank you...Y/N..." Light spoke, his face still seeming astonished by my decision. I nodded my head at Light while Google waved a hand. I looked at the crowd to see them fading away into dust like Wilford had. A small smile crept upon my face as i watched them be released.

"Do you know how to extract the blood?" I asked while turning my head to look at Google. He nodded before placing two finger onto Light's wrist. "Do you remember this, Light?" Google asked as Light closed his eyes tightly and started wincing. "You performed this action on Wilford a year ago. You extracted pure blood. What a surprise it is that you are now in his position, hm?"

Light let out a few painful sounds as the blood surged through his body and exited his mouth. Google suddenly took a hold of my wrist and directed the blood into my mouth, where i cringed at slowly swallowed it.

Light's body then fell to the floor, his figure fading away and turning to dust. "No Iplier is superior now, right Google?" I asked while staring at Light as his figure completely faded away. "Correct. Every Iplier is now equal and at rest." He replied. I nodded my head once before looking at him and grinning. "Guess it's time to go home now, huh?" He smiled before bending down a placing a soft and gentle kiss upon my lips. When he pulled away, he lightly grabbed my wrist and spoke. "I guess it is."

~Timeskip To After Train Ride And Back At Your(And Mark's) House~

You opened your eyes and looked around to notice that you were now in the living room. Google wasn't there, signaling that he had already left once he placed you back into your house.

"Mark." You said with your tone a little loud. You looked in the kitchen before walking to your room. You opened the door and saw Mark lying on the bed. You smiled softly before entering and gently sitting on the bed. "Hey." You whispered while placing a hand on Mark's shoulder. His eyes suddenly shot open. "You're back!" He yelled excitedly before jumping up and hugging you. You laughed a little while hugging him back. "Unfortunately." You replied.

He released from the hug, still having the same smile on his face. "Where were you?" He asked. You rubbed the back of your neck while letting out a small, nervous laugh. "At Wilford's castle..." You mumbled. Mark's smile suddenly faded away as his face now had worried written all over it. "What? I mean... I assumed he took you, but I didn't think.." He looked down at the comforter as his voice trailed off. You sighed. "Nothing really happened..Wilford's back in Hell and Light is in paradise, along with the other Ipliers." Mark looked up, surprised. "Really?!" You nodded your head while grinning a bit.

"And, to make the rest of your nerves settled, no Iplier has pure blood in their system anymore. Every Iplier, even Will and Light, have no pure blood flowing through their veins." Your grin turned into a proud smile. Mark smiled along with you. "That's amazing!" You sighed again before looking at the door. "So, everything's back to normal..." You mumbled. "I guess so..." Mark followed before grabbing your hand. Your gaze shifted to his chocolate eyes. "Our life...we can live normal again..." His smile stayed on his face as he squeezed your hand gently. You couldn't stand to but smile back at Mark.

~Next day~

(First Person POV)

I couldn't help but to shake my hands as I read the pregnancy test. Positive. "I'm having a baby..." I breathed out as tears streamed down my face. I threw out the pregnancy test along with the cup of urine. "Mark!" I yelled as I continued shaking. I heard his feet run towards the bathroom as I sat on the toilet seat. The door then slammed open. "What?! Are you okay?!" I looked up at him as he looked down at me. A smile crept onto my face as I spoke. "I'm pregnant." His eyes never left me as a smile suddenly formed on his face. "Holy...s-shit..." He whispered before picking me up and hugging me. "I can't believe it!" He laughed. I laughed along with him as I buried my face into the crook of his neck. "I can't believe it either..."

~Months later~

("Journal" POV)

Upon finding out that I was pregnant, Mark has been preparing. He decided to empty out one of the guest rooms and make it into the baby's room. Not knowing the gender, we decided to paint the room a settling shade of faded green. We decorated the room to our advantage and bought baby clothes that were unisex. Mark also did the honor of bragging to all of his friends and family about how he was going to be a dad. Of course, I got to help with the announcement, though.

For Mark's family, I decided to make a framed picture of two safety pins. One had a mini baby pin in it which symbolized the baby in my womb. I then used tape and sharpie to label both Mark and I above each pin. It was Mark's moms birthday, so we decided that giving her the frame was going to be both the announcement and her present. When the family finally got the memo that i was pregnant, they were extremely happy.

Our friend's seemed happy too. We decided to announce that i was pregnant by texting a picture of Prego sauce to all of our friends. We would send a following text saying, "We're Prego". By then, most of our friend's found out what we meant.

Throughout the days of my pregnancy, I mainly relaxed and prepped for the baby. Mark, of course, was more then happy to help me with anything. Whether it was helping me make dinner or cleaning the house, he was always there for me.

Following close to my due date, Mark and I made a plan for when I was to go into labor. We honestly planned out every second and every minute. I felt like we were one hell of a pregnant couple. We were both definitely ready for pregnancy. We were both ready for our baby to be born...

~Labor (One month later) ~

(First Person POV)

"Breathe in, Breathe out.." I heard Mark say calmly as I cried in the car. "I *pant* can't handle *pant* the contractions." I breathed out sharply as I started shaking and sweating. "We're almost there... Just calm down..."  Mark spoke.

The car ride seemed to take forever as I continued crying. Finally, we made it to the hospital. Mark pulled up to the closest parking spot near the hospital, which just so happened to be handicapped. He then ran out of the car, opened my door, and helped my get out. He held onto me and walked me into the hospital. "She's in labor." He said to the receptionist. She nodded her head before looking over at one of the nurses. "Wheelchair, now." The nurse quickly walked away and came back with a wheelchair already folded out.

Mark carefully walked me over to the wheelchair and sat me down. Once I was seated, the nurse started wheeling me down a hallway while Mark followed. We soon entered a room, where the nurse gently took my arm and helped me stand up. She placed me on the bed before calling for a doctor.

Mark took a hold of my hand and smiled as I continued. "Our baby's coming.." He whispered. I gave him a quivering smile before letting out a scream from pain. The nurse walked back over and started prepping tools for the doctor. She suddenly took a hold of an IV needle, pushed me up a bit, and dug the needle in my back near the spine.

"It's an epidural. It'll help make the contractions less painful and numbs your legs." I nodded my trembling head before looking back at Mark. He stared back at me, still smiling. I was about to smile back, but my thoughts stopped me.

Something doesn't feel right...something feels rushed...something feels...uncertain?...As if I was wrong...as if both Mark and I were wrong...something isn't right...but I don't know what...I ended Wilford and Light's reign but...I feel like it's not over yet...

The doctor suddenly walked in. "Ah, Mrs. Fischbach, are you ready to have your child?" He asked with a grin.

Whatever the feeling is, I have to forget about it...for now, at least...

I give him a shaky grin back before nodding.

He suddenly turned to Mark and narrowed his eyebrows. Mark-already knowing what the doctor was signaling-stood up and nodded his head. "I'd rather not see blood and guts today.." Mark mumbled before exiting, closing the door behind him.

The doctor let out a small laugh before looking at the nurse. "Perfect. Let's begin."

~~~~~
I felt like I rushed into the whole pregnancy part. I was thinking about making it two separate chapters, but then it would've made this one short. I apologize, though, if you also agree that it was kind of rushed.
Even then, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Thanks again for reading! ~LeMis
