{Several months ago}

Everything was dark, I could barely breath, with every strained breath it felt like knives down my throat, slicing it into pieces, yet the pain was an addiction that i had gotten used to, a craving deep inside these metal bones, my hands ice cold, yet i could feel the synthetic blood running down and dripping on to the floors of the prison

"Are you willing to return to the doctor now?" His deep metallic voice hidden behind his mask, yet all I did was flash him a wide smirk

"Why? I'm not as useful as you Infinite, am I? After all aren't you supposedly more powerful than Shadow himself?" I laughed, yet the chain around my throat tightened with is frustration "You'll never be the first and you won't be the last, he'll always come crawling back trying to pick at me, he treated me like every other of his creations, yet he always wants me back, because he 'raised' me, he'll claim he hates me and wants to destroy me, when he merely wants to be a 'father' again, don't you see? you'll never be his number one, it'll always be me" the jackal paused and loosened the chains yet the anger in his eyes was lit like an open flame

"I'll make you regret those words' Infinite growled lowly

"I'm so fucking scared, I would've thought i'd be dismantled by now, but oh that's right the doctor wants me 'alive'" I scoffed, yet the flash in his uncovered eyes sent a darkening thrill through me, and I couldn't stop from clinging onto his bubbling anger, "Aww are you angry already? Your held out longer than I thought you would, four months of torturing me?"

"Shut up rat" He snarled, yet he fell quiet and stood frozen for a moment as we locked eyes, I knew what I was doing, I knew, I've always known that it'd come to this, the chains around my neck disappeared and slowly as did the ones around my body

"There's a good boy, beginning to see your place?" I smirked, but it faded when he snapped out of it and fell back, there was genuine fear in his eye as I now stood over him

"W-what" He mumbled, yet I felt the burning in my back as I bit back the cry 

"I told you to be careful with him" Eggman spoke as he appeared, he kept his eyes one me, and paid little attention to the other

"He's harmless against me" Infinite stated

"Are you so sure Zero?" I spoke once the shocks faded, he froze "After all your not even Eggman's creation, are you?"

"H-how-" He was cut off by Eggman

"Chaos Sight" Eggman stated "It lets you see things that many won't see of know"

"I didn't think there was an ability like that in chaos" Infinite stated

"There wasn't until he made it"  Eggman muttered

"Not even dear old Shadow knows it" I laughed, but the pain suddenly came back and more powerful than the last, to the point everything went black
