Chapter twenty-five
[Time Skip to the half of January]
----------
She finally did it.
She didn't have manly bits anymore.
Rachel looked at the reflection and smiled a bit.
She looked like a girl.
Yoko was with her the whole surgeries (breast and vaginal), sleeping in a chair across her hospital room.
Maybe... Maybe Yoko had changed for the better.
---------
While Rachel was having a lovely late morning at the hospital, George was rudely woken up by Paul and John's yelling.
"Ow! John!"
"Sorry!"
"Fuck, can't you fit it better?"
"I'm trying, Paul!"
"There's only one fucking hole for that. How hard could it be?!"
"It wouldn't fit, okay?? Blame the maker!"
"I blame you! Why can't... Why doesn't it fit anyway??"
"Well Macca, it's too big!"
"Don't tell me that!"
"Well it must be the wrong hole, then!"
"There's only one bloody hole for that, John!"
George braced himself for the most horrifying scene he was ever to witness. But he didn't expect John and Paul arguing over a USB socket in the telly.
Paul huffed. "Give me that!" He swiped it and plugged it in. "There, see? Wasn't so hard."
John pouted, crossing his arms. "Well then, why don't you put it in next time."
George coughed, making the two of them look up.
Paul beamed. "Hey Gear good morning!"
"I... Uh... What's for breakfast?"
John shrugged. "Left overs from last night. There's mac n cheese in the fridge if you want."
"Thanks," He said before going to the kitchen.
He wondered what Rachel had for breakfast. Today was her surgery. He wondered if she was feeling all comfy in her hospital bed. Then, she'll be coming home soon. Then they'll be able to touch, kiss, and talk to each other physically. George couldn't contain his excitement.
Only a few more weeks and she'll be home.
-------------
"Rachel?"
She lifted her head from the fridge. "Yes mum?"
"Come here for a sec, baby."
She closed the fridge door, licked cheese powder off her fingers and went to the living room.
Yoko patted the space beside her. A serious look was on her face.
"Rach, that boyfriend of yours, George... Does he treat you right?"
Rachel nodded. "He's very sweet, mum. He... He treats me like I'm some kind of princess or something like that." She blushed a bit.
Yoko placed her hand on top of hers. "Love, I... I don't approve of him."
Her eyes widened. "Mum I---"
She raised a finger. "I'm not finished, okay? I don't think he's the right one for you. What does he do?"
Rachel bit her lip. "He... He plays the guitar and all that."
"Uh-huh." She didn't seem impressed. "Listen baby, I'm worried that he wouldn't be able to support you in the future."
"Mum please..."
"And I don't like the way he looks. He looks... He looks rugged. You deserve someone better!"
"Mum!" Rachel raised her voice. "Mum he isn't all that. He's nice and sweet and... He's the greatest."
Yoko sighed. "I don't like that boy."
"Man." She corrected with a frown.
"Man, boy, all I know is that I feel he's bad news right from the start."
She huffed, standing up from the couch. "I can't believe you mum---"
Her mother yanked her hand, causing her to tumble down back to the couch.
"What are you going to do, run away again?" She barked out an almost-maniacle laugh that could make even the worst Disney villians shiver. "You should have looked at your plane ticket, baby."
She was horrified. "W-What..."
"It's a one-way ticket."
---------
"I say maybe~ You might be the one that saves meeeee and after aaaall you're my wonderwaaaall---"
George pressed call. "Allo Joj 'Arrison here."
"G-Gear?"
His eyes widened. "Rach?! Rach what happened---" He gripped his phone. "Baby if it's about the surgery---"
"N-No it isn't a-about the surgery... The surgery was a s-sucess..." She sniffed.
"P-Put me on loudspeaker... p-please..."
His heart broke at how small her voice sounded.
"Okay you're on loudspeaker, angel."
"I-Is Macca there?"
Paul ran in. "Rachel?!" John was hot on his trails.
"P-Paulie..." She bursted into sobs. "Paulie she... S-She--- oh my god."
"What? What did she do babe?" Paul asked, eyebrows furrowed.
"S-She tricked me... She... She bought me a one-way t-ticket..."
"What?!"
-----------
Maureen was beside her, rubbing her back.
"Where are you now, Rach?" John asked.
"I-I'm at a friend's, her name's Mo, short for Maureen."
"Hi." Maureen greeted.
"Hey," The three of them replied.
"Thanks for being there for her." George said.
Mo smiled. "No prob-le-mo. I'll keep her safe for you Georgie-boo."
-----------
"Rach don't worry your pretty little head because I saved maybe enough to get me there and rescue you." Paul reassured.
John nodded. "One way or another--- No Paul no singing--- you'll get out of there."
"I-I'll pay half for it, Macs." Rachel said. George could hear a bit of a smile forming.
-----------
"I can't believe it that... that..." Paul scowled. "She's so horrid that I can't even find a fucking suitable word to describe her!"
"She's evil and manipulative, the step-mom stereotype. Like the one in Cinderella." John added.
George ran a hand through his shaggy hair. Damn he needed a haircut.
"Fuck, does she do this to her often?" He asked Paul, who nodded. "So that's why Rachie never does contact her."
John's lips were set in a thin line. "She's all kinds of evil; transphobic---"
"A liar."
"A homophobe----"
"An abusive she-devil with a stone for a heart." Paul finished with his teeth gritted.
"Fuck this, I'm calling her again." George stood up and fled the scene.
"Hey Rach, this is----" His heart stopped. "George Harrison."
-----------
Evil Yoko bitches!
Good thing is Rachel has surgery now wooo!
But the bad thing is, Yoko's there with her and god knows (i don't even know whats going on anymore so yeah) what she's gon' do to my poor angel!
Ya see Paulie and Rachie have one bank account (that's how fucking close they are) and since she didn't use the money she saved up for the surgery because Yoko paid for all of it Paul would use it to get to the land of the free
