"Shawn, I think that it would be best if you'd go on home..." My Mum said coldly, Shawn nodded and stood from my unmade bed.

I watched him desperately, he passed my Mum and met my eyes once more before disappearing down the stairs, I heard the front door shut moments later.

    "Claire! You can't just sneak boys in here! For heaven sakes it's almost one in the morning!" She yelled.

  I sighed and sat on my bed preparing myself for a lecture, but it never came.

   "Just go to bed... I don't want to deal with this now." She told me quietly, she closed my bedroom door and made her way for her room down the hall. 

The no lecture made it that much worse...

I hated waiting for what was to come the next day.

   My phone dinged quietly under my pillow, I quickly silenced it and read what Shawn had sent.

Shawn: I'm so sorry are you okay?

Clover: I'll live... What about you?

Shawn: Turns out I might of broken my wrist... My Dads driving me to the hospital...😐

Clover: WHAT!!! I told you! You should've let me help you...

Shawn: hey baby... It's fine I'm alright. You should get to sleep... it's been a long day.

Clover: okay fine! But you have to text me once you know anything about your WRIST!!!

Shawn: alright I will... Goodnight my love ❤️

Clover: Good Night my Prince Charming. 😍

Shawn: why ya gotta be so cute?

Clover: hey we said goodnight!!!

Shawn: I know I know! Sorry... Goodnight my princess, sweet dreams...

I placed my phone onto my nightstand and rolled over on my back, I pulled my covers over my body and closed my eyes.

   These past few days had been so crazy, sleep was the only time I had to myself, I could escape the crazy world that I lived in...

It was peaceful.
