The Autobots had crossed the space-bridge and were now driving towards their old base. The familiar sights of Jasper came into view, but none noticed, since each autobot was consumed in their own thoughts, worry dawning upon them.

Ratchet had explained his theory back in Cybertron, and let me tell you, it wasn't pretty...

In Cybertron...

Ratchet - "Optimus, we may have a problem, the energon signal we found was a little odd before, but now... now it makes perfect sense! If I'm correct, some Decepticons (probably Starscream) must have claimed the faction and made themselves the leaders! And from these signals, they must be planning something... something big."

End of group memory...

By the time the Autobots had reached the base it was midnight and the sky was full of sparkling stars and a beautiful crescent moon. The Autobots went inside and were immediately greeted by Ms. Darby, Jack, Miko and Raf.

After all of the greetings were in place, and the humans were told of the 'development', the autobots started planning on what to do.

Time laps

Bulkhead - "No Miko, it's too dangerous for you to tag along!"

Miko - " Awww, but you just came back!"

Bulkhead - " Miko, no."

Miko - " Fine! I'll stay here... But as soon as you come back, we are going dune bashing!"

Bulkhead - " Ok, we'll come back later, and I promise we'll go dune bashing then. Ok Miko?"

Miko - " Ok..."

Bulkhead - " Ok Ratchet, you can open the ground bridge now!"

Ratchet opened the ground bridge while keeping an eye- err- optic on Miko. Past experiences made the Autobot weary of the little human.

As soon as the last Autobot left through the ground bridge, Ratchet turned it off and began checking the main computer.

Miko - " Well, he's a chatty one"

Miko went up the catwalk and put her purple and black sleeping bag on the floor, where Raf, Jack and her were going to fall asleep. They all fell asleep quickly, while Ratchet kept an optic on the mission.

(In the Amazon)

The Autobots had sneaked up on the mine where the energon was being collected and were now marveling at the sight before them.

The walls of the cave were at least ten times larger than the Autobots, and were filled with energon. At the ceiling of the cave was a large opening letting rays of moonlight to come through, causing the cave to sparkle like it was taken straight out of a fairytale. And the flooring was the most stunning sight there, for it consisted of a clear crystal that covered the floor completely. It was truly marvelous.

But, if they did not move quickly, who knows what the Decepticons would do. Without a second thought, the Autobots kept moving deeper into the cave.

Time lapse

Hours later, they finally found what they were looking for, a Decepticon mining camp.

Arcee - " Why are they mining so much energon?"

Smoke - " And where's Screamy? Dosen't he like to show off when he's leader?"

O.P. - " This is odd indeed, but we must observe what they are doing."

After Optimus said that, the other Autobots became silent and waited for something to happen.

Soon after, they heard a ground bridge open. But it was not Starscream who came out. It was Vortex.

The Decepticon's sleek gray base coloring contrasted with the blue details across his frame, and he had folded helicopter blades sticking out of his back. The Mech's frame was slightly taller than Bumblebee and also had more 'muscle'. His optics were covered by a red visor, which seemed to inspect the cave thoroughly.

He was also part of a Decepticon Special OPS team called The Combaticons. But that is not even his deadliest feature, for the Combaticons are known to merge together to form Bruticus, an almost invincible mech that even Megatron would have trouble defeating.

The Autobots recognized him right away and saw the threat he possessed. But before they could react, Vortex had noticed them.

"Why are there Autobots here!?!? Don't just stand there, destroy them!"

With that, a dozen Vehicons came after the group of Autobots, who immediately started fighting back.

(Smokescreen's POV)

I was trying to shake of various Vehicons off me, but they wouldn't budge. Immediately I started shooting them out one by one, but by the time I had come to the last Vehicon, I noticed I went deeper in the cave than intended, thus making me lost. 'Scrap' I quickly returned my attention to the last vehicon that I was fighting, who by now was shooting at me from the other side of the mossy chamber. I avoided his shots, and took him down, but now I noticed that everyone was evacuating, something about an energon explosion, Ratchet said. 'Wait. Energon explosion?!'

Hello everyone! Ok, ok, I know long time since update... But I have an excuse! ...Well, excuses! First, since Christmas I've been at my grandparent's house, and there's really bad wi fi here.
Second, I'm sorry, but I've been reading, a lot, and expecting a new book, too... which i will probably not receive until I get back home.
Third, my cousins were visiting for christmas, and they only come during Christmas, which in turn, makes me the entertainer/Babysitter.
And Fourth, I really needed to do some research on the Combaticons, since I only heard of Vortex from Game Informer, and I don't know scrap about him...
Anyways, next chapter will be an interesting one at least, since I have been coming up with Fantasies-err- ideas for it since before I joined Wattpad.

Now before I close off, I need your opinions in the comments, I'm planning on releasing an original story, but I want to know if (1) you guys would like to have a few chapters in the story when I post it, or (2) would like to have it one chapter at a time. Remember I'm going to look at the comments for this and the most requested one will be the way I'll do it. Your opinions are crucial in this decision, so please don't hesitate to put it on the comments!
