"Young Master has arrived."
A young, handsome male entered into his living room as he was fixing his tie to help loosen it up. Making his way up the stairs, he immediately changed into comfortable clothing before walking back down the stairs to be greeted by his mother. His mother enthusiastically gave him a warm hug as she said, "Bomin-ah, my baby."
Bomin smiled softly as his mother embraced him tightly as he replied with a sarcastic tone, "Mother, I was only gone for a week for a business trip."
"That's way too long my child."
Bomin continued to hug his mother warmly until she pulled away first as she brushed his bangs out of his forehead. Bomin noticed the slight wrinkles forming onto his face as he began to worry for her health. He pouted slightly before whining a little, "Did you not put on the cream that I bought for you last time?"
"I did~ It's just that Somi has been giving me so much stress lately."
"Ugh, that annoying little brat."
"Hey, don't talk about me like that!"
Both turned towards the side as Somi stood with an upset expression as she rolled her eyes annoyingly. Bomin continued to smile as he had his arms out for his sister, but she walked right past him as she did not want to. Their mother sighed in response as Bomin shrugged his shoulders at his sister's regular behavior. His mother took his hand and slowly led him to the kitchen, where he watched her cook among the maids. He could never stop her from cooking as that was her bright passion.
Choi Bomin was the middle child as his older brother, Choi Myungsoo, was destined to be the heir of the business enterprise that CEO Choi was able to build. The Elegance Hotel was a famous, expensive 5-star hotel that was the best of the best. Seoul and Shanghai were the two places that the hotels were located in, and it was the best seller among all customers.
Choi Somi was the youngest of all, as she is just a high school student. She was the most worst and spoiled child that one can think of, but Bomin still adored his sister. Myungsoo paid no attention to them as he was only focused on the business, and he rather preferred to be alone since there was some quite age difference between him and the other two. And, he was the half brother of the two as Myungsoo's mother died early within his childhood.
Myungsoo was not in a good relationship with Bomin's mother which always made the other upset. Somi did not really care about how Myungsoo thought of her, but Bomin was his biggest competition. Though they shared half of the bloodline, Myungsoo did not like Bomin around as he was pretty smart and was well-liked within the family.
And well with his handsome features and pale complexion, Bomin was well-liked especially towards those of the opposite sex. He actually was known as the quiet player; he flaunted his money in a secretive way and he knew his way around girls' hearts. As he also majored in business finance, he knew his way around money and on how to spend it well. Not only was he smart but he was deviously cunning despite his soft image. He knew how to get his opponents within a trap and that comes from his father's genes.
As he stared at his mother making food, he heard familiar footsteps as he turned his head towards the living room to see Myungsoo making his way over towards the kitchen. Mentally cursing in his head, Bomin stood up straight before he heard the annoying, deep voice, "How was your research? Father seemed very interested in your trip to Australia. You sure you were there for business? I heard from a few friends that they saw you at a club with some girls."
Bomin's mother pursed her lips as Myungsoo spoke, as Bomin smiled a fake smile at the older, "It's great to see you too. And actually, I was quite busy. Maybe they saw someone similar."
Myungsoo laughed too loudly, throwing his head and clutching onto his stomach as he did so. Bomin found this the most annoying of his brother as the laughter echoed among the hallways that indicated of how absurd this situation was. He then stood back up before resting a hand on the younger's shoulder, "Busy? As if..."
The scene got pretty serious once more as Myungsoo tilted his head to the side to taunt the other before his eyes made their way to Bomin's mother. She was staring silently at the two as her hand was clutching onto the counter to subdue her anger. Myungsoo noticed her hand before turning back to the younger as his hand left Bomin's shoulder, "Relax....you seem so tense. You as well..step-mother."
He smirked at his own comment before grabbing an apple that was resting on the dining table. Eyeing the younger's expression turn darker by the second, Myungsoo took a bite out of the apple before placing the apple onto the younger's hand. Bomin stared at the apple without another word as Myungsoo whispered closely, "I'm always going to be one step ahead of you."
