twenty - seven

A head fell onto his shoulder as Hyunsuk quietly watched as Mina was falling asleep. They spent the whole day just walking around to experience the beautiful scenery that the city offered. Starting from cherry trees, Hyunsuk was able to place his mind off of stressful schoolwork and Lia messing around with him. Mina was also able to release his stress from the pressures of her family and from Bomin as they walked around for a few hours.

They ended up at an old-fashioned movie theatre where it was a room with a leather sofa, and you could rent out old movies. It was definitely a new experience for both of them so Hyunsuk was definitely interested to check it out. But after twenty minutes into the movie, Mina fell asleep due to lack of sleep for the past few days.

Hyunsuk felt the burden on his shoulders as he was reminded of the fact that he was paid to act like this. But he also was hating the fact that he needed to do all he can to make sure Mina falls in love with him. He knew it was a huge mistake and he knew that Mina was growing to trust him slowly.

He needed to let her know about how he was paid to make sure she falls for him, but he didn't want to her find out because she relied on him a lot more than she probably thought so. And, he felt like it was wrong since he was stating to like her presence around.

He carefully moved his shoulder so that it would be comfortable towards her. He sat in the silence with the movie playing as he held his breathe. He turned his attention to his phone buzzing a few minutes later as he luckily placed it on silent. It was Bomin who was calling him, probably trying to see if he was doing his job correctly.

Hyunsuk declined to answer it since he didn't want to wake up Mina at all. A few messages came inside his phone as he stared at it quietly without a temptation to reply.

"I know you're with her right now."

"I hope you're doing your job correctly. Don't forget about what we had signed on."

"Report back tonight, or else this contract is going to suffer."

He turned off his phone as he then shifted carefully to relax against the chair. He was trying to be super careful since Mina was still sound asleep against his shoulder.

Bomin gripped his fists tightly as he glared angrily at the wall as Lia flipped her hair with a smirk. She rested her back against the chair as she found some confidence rising within herself as she noticed the change in attitude from the male. She fondled with her curls as she then teasingly commented, "You're getting jealous, aren't you?"

"Shut up."

"I'm just saying....you been acting this way ever since I came to Korea. I told you, Hyunsuk has an interesting charm that girls would fall for."

Bomin rolled his eyes to himself as he checked his phone once more before realizing that Hyunsuk was not going to respond to his message. Lia shook her head and added instead, "I am quite intrigued with how you're going to handle the situation. This isn't the Bomin that I know and get along with."

"Get along with? You tried to run off with my brother, and I had no choice but to follow what my father had requested me to do. Don't act like you're all innocent."

Lia turned quiet as she cleared her throat again to ignore the angry presence of Bomin as she stood up to flip her hair in an oblivious way. Walking away from him, she then spoke out loudly, "Good luck. I'll make sure that Mina does not get what she wants for the brand deal."

Soon afterwards, Mina woke up from her slumber as she turned around confusingly to find Hyunsuk missing from the area. She stretched her arms out as she realized that there was an unknown jacket around her as she rubbed her eyes carefully to not get her makeup smudged. She stood up quietly to walk outside towards the hallway where Hyunsuk was standing helplessly against the wall. He didn't pay any attention towards her as he had his head on the hallway walls, breathing heavily and quietly to himself.

Mina doesn't know if the confidence in her suddenly just bursted as she tiptoed carefully behind him and wrapped her arms carefully around his back. Hyunsuk stood up straight as he did not expect this at all as he turned his head slightly to find Mina just resting her arms and forehead against his back as she didn't want to say anything to him about it.

They stood in silence as their actions did the speaking instead, as he rested his palms against her hands as they just stayed like this for a couple of minutes. She soon released her hands as she took a step back before clearing her throat softly, "Well, I got to head back now. The first meeting with Lia is tomorrow, and I need to make sure everything is all set for the brand modification. I need to get ready.."

Hyunsuk turned around slowly to find Mina stammering around as she nervously played with the ends of her shirt. Hyunsuk watched her quickly run inside the room to grab her bag, as she tried to calm herself down. He knew that the only way to win this game was to make Mina fall in love with him but also make her break up with him. It was a cruel thought, but it would bring an end to his misery as he truly cared for her.

Mina hurried back outside as she adjusted her hair once more before smiling, "I'll see you later."

A little disappointed that Hyunsuk was not saying anything, she was about to turn around to leave before he gently pulled her to him as he stared quietly down at her before leaning in to kiss her lips. But their lips barely touched as he didn't want to scare her, as he pulled away after a few seconds as the tips of their lips grazed softly against each other.

Mina's cheeks burned red like hot coals were being thrown onto her as she widened her eyes with embarrassment as Hyunsuk replied back simply, "Good luck."
