Hyunsuk waited in front of Mina's home as he stared at his own feet. He had no choice but to get the job done since everything was on the line. He ignored the incoming calls as someone got his attention as a young male was strutting towards him with a smug expression. Hyunsuk had no idea who he was as the latter continued to stare at him before speaking up, "So you're the one that's secretly dating my half-sister?"
Hyunsuk was aware of Mina's family line, but he has not seen any of them in person. So he wasn't sure of whether he needed to put his guard up or not, so he just nodded quietly to his words. The other continued to stare at him as he felt the younger one glance up and down at his body as if he was getting a good scan of him.
"I'm Daehwi by the way....the youngest in the family. What's your name?"
"That's none of your business."
A different person interrupted the conversation as another person appeared as they got out of the car. Hyunsuk turned his head as he was not sure on who the person was, but he seemed to be on the negative side of the youngest as Daehwi rolled his eyes to himself. The male introduced himself as he blocked Daehwi from standing any closer to Hyunsuk, "I'm Hanbin, the second oldest. Let me invite you inside, I heard a lot about you from Mina."
Hyunsuk was basically dragged inside as he was still separated from Daehwi as he got a sense that maybe Hanbin was the good brother in the family. As soon as the pair arrived towards the door, another male walked by them but stopped in his tracks. Hanbin bowed to him quietly as Hyunsuk followed his lead as he heard the other male laugh under his breathe; it was not a nice laugh at all.
"I'm Jeonghan by the way...the oldest. I got my eye on you. You're on the wanted list in our family."
Hanbin interrupted him before Hyunsuk could say anything, "Leave him alone. You realize that you need to fight against two more."
"I don't consider Jaemin as a person. And I'm surprised you're siding with a girl."
"Watch your words. You may be older than me, but you don't get any of my respect other than a bow."
"Father is waiting for your engagement news. My secretary already told me that you're still meeting a peasant...such a shame. The inheritance will come to me so you better step up your game."
It was immediately getting colder by the second as the two oldest brothers were staring angrily at each other with hatred as Hyunsuk was not used to this. He turned his attention towards the garden in front of them as he tried to distract himself from the conversation as Hanbin realized that his guest was getting more uncomfortable. So he turned to Hyunsuk to let him know that there was no other conversation needed as Jeonghan scoffed loudly and annoyingly as Hanbin helped Hyunsuk enter into the big palace that they resided in.
Soon afterwards, Hanbin guided him to his study room as there was already someone waiting for them anxiously inside. Hyunsuk was dumbfounded as he realized that Mina had so many brothers that she must be extremely tired of annoying men who don't act their age. Hanbin introduced the last brother in the family who seemed the most closest to Mina as they looked almost alike. Her twin brother, Jaemin, smiled brightly as he gave the most tightest hug to Hyunsuk to help him feel welcomed into their dungeon of a home.
As they all sat down, Hyunsuk checked his phone as he wanted to text Mina to let her know that he was actually at her home, Hanbin chuckled loudly as he interrupted him, "Mina is probably right now busily working as she wasn't in the greatest mood."
Jaemin turned his attention towards his brother as he asked nervously, "Oh what happened?"
Hyunsuk had done the same as he blinked quietly while Hanbin replied worriedly to not scare the two other men, "She got humiliated by her presentation as no one liked it....so she's determined to get everything perfected."
Jaemin rolled his eyes as he replied back with a bitter tone, "Bomin is really getting on my nerves; I want to cut his throat."
At the name of Bomin's name, Hyunsuk shifted a little in his seat as he was getting uncomfortable even more by the situation. He was tired of hearing that name as he really wished he could punch Bomin in the face for his cocky personality. Jaemin, like his sister, was quick witted as Jaemin then added with an apologetic smile, "I know it's awkward to mention her supposed fiancé in the photo...but she doesn't like him...and we don't like him."
Hanbin nodded in agreement as he clasped his hands together as he chipped in with a nod, "Agreed. We actually are quite glad that Mina is able to be herself when she's with you..Well, she doesn't give too much information about you but by the way she talks, it's much different."
Hyunsuk's stomach churned and ached a little as he was feeling bad that everyone had a positive image of him. He really didn't feel that positive since no one really understood what the actual picture was since he was brought in as a fake boyfriend and a person to literally smash her heart into pieces.
Mina also seemed to not have told her brothers that it was a fake relationship since they genuinely believed that Hyunsuk was actually dating Mina. Although he wasn't sure what their relationship was actually, he just nodded along quietly since he was not sure on how to reply to it. After a few seconds of silence, Jaemin stood up with a bright smile to help the mood soften to a more friendly atmosphere.
"How about we all grab some dinner together? Don't worry about the nosy little one. Just us three."
Hyunsuk has never been more scared in his life...coming to see Mina so that he could try and finish the job...but ended up being trapped by the closest members in the family to pry into their "relationship."
