thirty
Mina took a sigh as she stretched her arms in front of her as she finally decided to take a break from her computer as she glared at her computer screen. She turned her head towards the window as she glanced outside to look where the busy city lights were brightening the buildings. She hasn't seen her phone for a long time since she placed it inside her cabinets and placed her attention fully on her computer. She took a sip of her coffee as the emails were pouring out nonstop on her computer as Lia was making her life very miserable as her stylist was the one in charge of emailing her all night.
She finally managed to get her work done as she heard a knock on the door as she turned her attention towards her guest walking inside uninvitingly. She groaned out loud as Bomin laughed under his breathe. He closed the door slowly as he made his way towards an available chair as he watched Mina pack her things.
"Heading home?"
"What's your deal on visiting me?"
"What's your plan on stopping our marriage? You realize that time is coming faster than we expect.....how is Hyunsuk coming along?"
Mina refused to answer any of this as she simply treated the other as if he wasn't there before he stood up in growing anger as he heard her bag zipped closed so she can go home. "You're not planning to actually fucking marry me, right?"
"This hotel gets to be partially mine...maybe I do."
Mina rolled her eyes as she glared back at the other as Bomin walked over to her desk hurriedly to shake his head in denial. They both entered into a stare-off as she crossed her arms amusingly to see Bomin's face distort in anger. He couldn't actually believe her arrogance as their deal was much different from when they first agreed to not get married. Bomin scoffed under his breathe as he responded, "You won't get any of this easily even if we do get married. You better carry things out with your fake boyfriend or else you will get humiliated at this hotel."
Mina frantically ran towards her home as she parked in a hectic manner as Daehwi had called her a few times to tauntingly reveal that Hyunsuk was over at the house. She couldn't believe her eyes as she saw Hyunsuk dead drunk on the floor of Hanbin's study as Jaemin was also knocked out cold from the alcohol levels. She turned her attention towards Hanbin who was smiling brightly at her with a laugh, "Hey! It's the cutie."
"What are you doing right now?!"
Daehwi was standing at the door as he watched in amusement with an evil chuckle hiding behind his smile, "Wow, father doesn't know any of this since Jeonghan hyung is an a long meeting with him. What will he say if he realizes that your boyfriend is here?"
Mina glared angrily at him as she threatened him, "Speak of this towards father and your mother is going to get the last of it with the marriage discussion."
Daehwi's face turned sour as he rolled his eyes in annoyance as Mina rushed to Jaemin's side to try and get him to wake up. Her twin brother was knocked out cold from the alcohol as he was hugging an empty vodka bottle with al his strength. She turned towards Hyunsuk who was sleeping peacefully on the cold ground before she tried to shake him gently so that he would wake up.
He didn't move a cold inch as he turned her older brother who was laughing in delight as he enjoyed drinking with people. She tried to be considerate towards his good intentions but getting a man that they barely knew drunk and knocked out was something she never asked for. Hanbin rubbed his eyes quickly as he too was getting the effects of the alcohol sweeping into his system as she sighed heavily.
"You better help me get him into Jaemin's room or else your secrets of buying illegal stocks will be revealed...don't think I don't know that, Daehwi."
Soon later, the youngest brother was groaning and panting under his breathe as he managed to help Mina drag Hyunsuk into Jaemin's bedroom, with Hanbin barely helping out by drunkenly help Jaemin towards his bed. They managed to get some blankets onto the ground so that Hyunsuk could lay down on it as Hanbin fell asleep on Jaemin's bed before realizing.
Mina closed the door quietly as she looked over at Daehwi with a smug expression. Daehwi glared back at her as he kept huffing under his breathe as he doesn't really carry heavy things around the place. He was about to leave the room, but Mina stopped him from doing so as she playfully smiled and spoke up first, "Keep this a secret, and your secret is safe with me. This needs to also stay shut from your mom."
"Deal."
Although Daehwi was a rotten brat towards the soul, he does have wisdom on knowing what's right or wrong to tell his parents. And he knew that Mina probably had all the evidence against him so keeping her boyfriend locked in Jaemin's room was the least he could do for her since they were half-blood related anyways.
That night, Bomin sat in his room full of anger and resent towards Mina as his hate grew more and more. Although he did find Mina a perfect partner to his life, he could never stand her for more than a day. And he felt the tensions of his family and his forced marriage growing more heavily on him to the point that his father declined to talk to him until he step foot into that wedding hall. Myungsoo's annoying smirk burned in the back of Bomin's neck as he realized that he had no choice but to surely take this to this advantage.
If Mina was to get married to him, all her assets and rights would be taken and given to him so that he would get the upper-hand. He wanted her to never raise her head so brazenly in front of him, ever again.
