"So, did you keep the money?"

Hyunsuk rolled his eyes with annoyance when his best friend was calling him through the phone. Hyunsuk was currently on his break from his part time job at the convenience store. He snapped angrily at the other, "Is that all you got from the story, Jinyoung hyung?"

Bae Jinyoung was a grade and a year older than him but they got along well because they knew each other ever since they were little children. Jinyoung was chuckling on the other end as he found Hyunsuk's story amusing as the younger was eating a cup of noodles that he was able to eat.

Hyunsuk groaned loudly against his phone as he was munching on his noodles. The other continued to laugh until Hyunsuk angrily replied, "I'm literally hanging up on you hyung."

"Hey, it's not common that you get your ice coffee spilled onto your shirt right after your interview....and then get paid by a rich person."

"She didn't even apologize!"

"She's rich. Why would she need to? Her greatest tool was given to you."

"Whatever. I'm hanging up now."

"Wait wait...bring me some snacks! I'm starving."

"You're asking the wrong person for food."

Hyunsuk hung up without another word, and he didn't even stop to listen to what Jinyounw was going to reply to. He felt so humiliated and upset by the incident, and he hoped to never see that brat once more.

The week flew by really quick. Bomin was busily preparing for the art gallery as Mina was trying to find a dazzling outfit to wear. She might as well make a statement while she was on the hunt to destroy her own wedding. Bomin ate lunch with Mina a few times to discuss about the matters, and the families immediately got the wrong idea of how perhaps Bomin and Mina were planning for their wedding. The hype was intense.

The clouds were forming into round shapes of cotton candy as Bomin and Mina walked along the garden that was found within the hotel. The sun was slowly setting as it was hiding behind the tall buildings that decorated and protected the city. The patio was a beautifully decorated outdoor area where there were red and white flowers that bloomed to fit the aesthetic of the area. Looking around, Mina enjoyed the gentle breeze that played with her black locks as the two were both drinking coffee in a warm mug.

Reaching towards the end of the building, they both peered out towards the city as the busy streets were full of people and cars like as if they were a community of ants. Bomin took a deep breathe as they were enjoying the silence as he asked once more, "What if we just got married?"

Mina turned her head to look at the other as she was confused on why he was determined on asking the same question. She took a sip of her coffee, not responding completely as she replied afterwards, "Why do you want to get married?"

Bomin rested his elbow against the railings before he smiled a smile before replying back, "Because.. I don't want to end up like my father and mom. Better to have a stable relationship- I wouldn't have a relationship that involves the issues of love."

Mina smiled at his statement without even knowing as she rested her arms against the railings as well as she held onto the cup tightly. She agreed with him, "Yes.. The idea of love... I don't want to experience that. I don't need that."

Bomin stared quietly at her as she sipped her coffee soon after, breathing contently as she does as it warmed up her up immediately. He found it quite fascinating that they connected on many points that he did not connect with others. The existence of love would not be tied towards them; he appreciated that there was someone on this planet who felt the same. He smiled to himself without another word as he turned his attention towards the disappearing horizon; the wind was speaking instead as it blew through their jackets as the only thing that could be heard was the city.

Hyunsuk stared at his stained blue button up as he knew it was one of the only things he owned that was considered business appropriate. If it wasn't for that bitch he bumped into, this would have never happened. He decided to ask Jinyoung if he could borrow his for a day as he wanted to go prepared for his new part time job. Staring at the clock, he rushed out of his apartment so that he wouldn't be late for class.

Arriving to class, he sat down quietly as he knew that all the students would be gossiping about him and how he still hasn't paid to go to academy yet. College was a place that he enjoyed but also despised due to the numerous eyes that were watching his every move. Jinyoung sat down next to him while yawning as he complained quietly, "Why did you hang up on me... I was super hungry."

"Shut up, you have more money than me."

"Ah, you can't use that excuse every single time." Hyunsuk ignored his comment as the class was starting to begin.

The day flew by quick as Hyunsuk was heading towards the cafe to arrive to his second job of the day. He rarely had time to eat lunch with Jinyoung as he decided to eat something at the cafe during his break. Placing on his usual uniform, he stood behind the register and took orders despite the quiet whispers of the girls nearby who thought he was cute.

A customer approached him as he was working, and the familiar, annoying voice spoke up, "One vanilla hot latte."

Hyunsuk looked up immediately as he had a speciality of remembering voices easily. He had to hold in his anger as the bitch from yesterday was standing right in front of him. Her attention was on her cellphone, and she was dressed in full designer wear. He sighed to himself as he took the card from her, and she hummed to herself as she waited for the order to be fully progressed.

Hyunsuk handed the card back to her before commenting slightly under his breathe, "Have a wonderful day. I hope someone wouldn't get their shirt wet."

Mina's eyebrows furrowed as she was getting annoyed with the attitude she was receiving from the part-timer. She lifted her head up as she felt the gaze of the part-timer on her. It was the guy from yesterday.

Mina scoffed to the point where Hyunsuk could sense her annoyance as she snapped back, "I can't believe you work in this cafe. Ugh, customer service is so bad here."

Hyunsuk doesn't respond as he remained emotionless as a different worker walked over to change their positions. Hyunsuk faked a smile before replying back with a bow, "Have a wonderful day. I am off on my break."

Before Mina got the chance to argue back, Hyunsuk took off his apron and made his way towards the break room. Mina tried to remember the name tag that had the part-timer's name on it. It was on the lines of...

"Hyunsuk."

Mina watched quietly as a handsome, young man made his way over to the latter, who just came out of the break room. They both seemed pretty close to one another as there was an exchange of friendly conversation. Hyunsuk accepted the bag of clothes that he requested from Jinyoung, as they both made their way to a part of the cafe to talk.

Mina's attention was pulled away as her order was called out. Hyunsuk's name was now engraved into Mina's brain as she walked past the two before exiting the cafe. She won't forget about this bastard as easily.
