eleven

"So, you want me to become your fake boyfriend in front of the public?"

Mina smiled as she stood up to stare out the window to admire the buildings nearby. She replied back with excitement, "Wouldn't that be a fantastic master plan to get our families angry?"

Bomin agreed as well as he folded his hands together as he replied back soon after, "Agreed. They wouldn't want to push our wedding...and also, they would try to get you guys to break up. But in the end, we all know that Mina is too stubborn to actually follow through the master plan that our families devised."

Hyunsuk stared at the two elites as he never imagined that he would be missing class for this conversation. He stared at his own hands as he wasn't sure about what to do as Mina turned around quickly to face the quiet male. Mina made her way back to the group as she crossed her arms impatiently, "What's holding you back? I'm offering you tons of money that will pay for your tuition and housing. And not to mention, you will be given brand name clothes and luxurious hotel-styled feasts."

Bomin turned his attention onto Hyunsuk as well, who seemed pretty convinced to agree with the two. But Hyunsuk replied sharply as he stared back at Mina with a glare, "How can I trust you both to keep your words."

"Easy. The answer is money."

"You didn't apologize for anything the last time we met. How could I trust you to keep your word on everything if something goes wrong?"

Mina scoffed quietly at how brazen Hyunsuk had become as she was well aware that the other would have been upset. But, she wasn't exactly sure on how to fix the entire situation because she doesn't really have the emotions to apologize. Bomin rolled his eyes silently as the two continued to stare at one another. Mina's fingers twirled her hair curls silently as she smiled brightly in response in order to get her plan achieved, "Sorry for last time. But, the money will make it up."

Hyunsuk knew he was going to regret this, but he stood up immediately in response as he rejected the offer, "I don't accept any of this. Might as well need to find someone else for the job."

He stormed out of the room as he glared at the two as he started to make his way down the hotel. The fancy lights were no match to his poor image that he reflected; he knew he wasn't going to be the one for Mina's plan. He trudged on forward past the secretary and the driver as he made his way towards the bus stop to head back home as he well regretted missing class for some nonsense.

Mina stared at the closed door of the office as she really did not expect this response from the other. She cleared her throat a few times before turning to Bomin, who was staring at the empty seat as she proclaimed loudly, "Does he not want money?! How could he reject me like that?!"

Bomin shushed her immediately as Mina grumbled to herself in response as Bomin stood up with an unreadable smile. He turned towards his desk and made his way towards it as the secretary knocked on the door in case Mina needed a refill for her tea. She declined and dismissed the secretary so that she wouldn't interrupt their discussion. Mina stood up as well as she followed after Bomin, and she stood in front of his desk with her arms continuously crossed. Bomin leaned back on his chair comfortably as the smile was still not erased from his pale skin.

"He's an interesting guy. But, he'll come around. Money will be the one to bring him back to this spot. Just give him a few days to think it over."

"We don't have much time...our families want to get dinner within a few days, and I want this story to be out as soon as possible."

Bomin tilted his head towards the side as he stared at Mina's angered expression as he teased her lightly, "Do you want to get rid of this marriage because you dislike me? Or do you not want to go the easy route?"

"We've been through this before. I would prefer to climb the ladder on my own rather than getting help."

"And how do you think that is going to be achieved?"

"Well, for one thing- you promised a general manager job here in the hotel so that I can get some experience. I have no absolute interest in working under you fully. I plan to go to a different hotel."

Bomin shrugged his shoulders as he chuckled softly under his breath in response. He doesn't speak much more as Mina angrily stormed out of his room as she felt even more furious about the thought of being rejected when she always was achieved something. Bomin was left alone in his office as his smile disappeared immediately as he felt more distasteful with her presence around. He glared at the door quietly as he muttered under his breath viciously, "I'll make sure you don't get anything done here Kang Mina. You and your bratty attitude should be thankful for me- if not, you really don't know what's up for you."
