The guys were talking about what they were doing during the festival on their way back home. They were all happy, smiling, and chatting about the night. Teasings were heard here and there as they all were still full of energy from the festival.

"Wwww it was so much fun." Amatsuki grinned as Kashitarou smiled at his cheerful boyfriend.

"Yeah, the fireworks looked really pretty this year." Senra commented as he was still in awe about how the colors swirled and danced with each other in the sky.

At the mention of fireworks, Sakata slowed down walking and turned his attention towards his brother, tugging on his yukata. Soraru looked at the younger to see what he wanted when Sakata whispered quietly to him.

"Were you able to confess?"

Soraru shook his head at the question as Sakata looked at his brother, shock covering his face.

"Eh?! WHY NOT?"

The redhead's sudden shouting caused the others to stop and turn to look at them confused.

"Is something wrong you guys?" Urata asked the two siblings as Sakata blushed when he realized that he was a bit too loud. He looked at his boyfriend and smiled.

"Ah~ nothing Urata~ Just wondering why niichan is a big idiot."

"Oi."

Soraru glared at his brother who stuck his tongue out. The raven-haired male just sighed and looked away as Sakata went back to conversing with them.

They parted their ways and said goodbye to each other. Sakata hugged Urata, who reluctantly hugged back, obviously still embarrassed at small gestures like this. Mafu smiled at Soraru and waved goodbye to the two brothers.

They made it back, and as soon as they entered the house Sakata turned to look at his brother with a questioning look.

"Why didn't you confess? I thought you'd do it by now."

"Fireworks," was all the raven-haired said as Sakata was able to understand what he meant.

"Wwww, instead of helping the mood, the fireworks ruined your chance."

"Quit it."

"Wwww. Are you going to try again some other time?"

"Who knows."

"Eh?"

Sakata looked at his brother confusingly, he wasn't sure what Soraru meant by that.

"I might confess, I might not confess."

"But why wouldn't you confess."

"His feelings for me could go away at any given moment."

"Eh? W-Well that's true, but—"

"I'm tired so I'm going to change and go to bed. Good night Sakata."

Soraru went towards the stairs and headed to his room as the younger stood there.

Sakata looked at his brother's disappearing body and began to wonder if Soraru was upset that he wasn't able to confess or if he didn't care at all. Well it's like niichan to not care about failing. I guess he still isn't able to fully trust his feelings.

Sakata could tell that his brother was insecure when it came to things relating to his emotions, like caring for another. He never knew why but Soraru had always been afraid of the idea that if he listens to his feelings, he'll end up hurt. I thought being around the others would get rid of that, guess niichan still needs some time. I wonder if Mafu could tell what niichan was trying to say.

The redhead sighed as he now knew the struggle Mafu had to face when he was helping him with Urata. Guess I'll sleep on it and worry about it later. I doubt Mafu's feelings will go away that quickly.

Mafu woke up to the sound of his alarm going off and groaned. They had to return to school now and Mafu wasn't happy. I want summer break to be a bit longer. Mafu was contemplating on whether he should get up now and stayed in his bed for a few minutes. He then heard Amatsuki yell at him to hurry up and decided that now was the time to actually get up.

They left the albino's house and were walking to school, with the usual whines and complains about going back, when they saw Kashitarou.

"Kashi~ good morning." Amatsuki greeted his boyfriend with a hug as Mafu waved at the brunette.

"Hey guys. You seem energetic for someone going back to school." Kashitarou made the last comment towards the brunette who glared at him.

"Wwww. Ama-chan is just happy now since you're back at the school."

"H-Hey M-Mafu!"

"Is that so~" Kashitarou teasingly asked as Amatsuki blushed.

He smacked the older brunette's arm and crossed his arms with his cheeks puffed out. Kashitarou just laughed and gave the younger a small kiss on the cheek, making Amatsuki blush even more.

"You guys know I'm still here."

Mafu pouted as the two brunette's remembered about the albino.

"How could you forget this adorable god?"

"Since when were you adorable?" Kashitarou joked as Mafu was slightly irritated by the remark.

"Hey! I'll have you know that a lot of people find me cute and adorable."

"Wwww. How is that possible?"

Mafu was the one to smack Kashitarou's arm this time as the older laughed. They were walking to the school and saw the other three by the gates. Mafu looked around to see that there was no sight of Sakata or Soraru.

"Where are the two?" Kashitarou asked Shima, who just shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know. Didn't see them when we got here."

"Maybe Soraru had to go to his job." Mafu thought as Urata shook his head.

"Sakata said that he doesn't have work for at least a couple more days."

"Wonder why they're not here yet." Senra said, he then noticed the two that they were just talking about walk up.

"Well speak of the devil. There they are."

Mafu turned around to see Sakata, but was confused when he saw the redhead seem worried about something as Soraru seemed annoyed.

"Are you okay Sakata? Did something happen?" Urata asked the redhead, he was becoming worried when he saw the nervous face on the younger.

"Eh? O-Oh, I'm fine. Just hoping that she didn't notice us."

"She?" Mafu asked the two, a girl's voice was soon heard behind them.

"Hey Soraru."

Soraru cringed at the voice and felt himself being hugged behind. A girl with long, dark black hair was smiling at the raven-haired male. Mafu's heart broke a little as the girl smiled fondly at Soraru.

"Get off me."

"Did you miss me~"

"No."

"Wwww. Don't act so cold towards your girlfriend."

They all froze when they heard the girl's statement. Mafu widened his eyes, small tears beginning to appear, as Urata looked worriedly at his albino friend. Mafu looks like he's about to cry.

Sakata and Kashitarou only rolled their eyes and glared at the girl. Something they thought they'd never see the redhead do.

"Kana, he said let him go."

Urata was surprised to hear Sakata's voice sound hostile.

"So the loser still can't be alone without Soraru."

The girl let go of Soraru as she looked at Sakata, it was as if she was disgusted by his presence.

"Also stop calling yourself his girlfriend." Kashitarou added to Sakata's statement, his voice was also dripped with hostility.

The others could only stare at the four, they had no idea what was going on. Mafu was conflicted on how he should feel, who is this girl? And why is she close to Soraru? Why did he never mention her before? Negative thoughts began to occur in the albino's head as the girl looked at Soraru expectedly.

"But I am, isn't that right Soraru?"

The raven-haired male just glared at her before grabbing the albino's hand, surprising him. and began walking towards the school. He ignored the confused stares of the others and the girl's frown.

"Can someone please fill us in."

Shima looked at Kashitarou and Sakata, confusion clearly visible on his face. Kashitarou was about to answer when the girl cut him off.

"Hello~ I'm Kana, Soraru's girlfriend." She smiled sweetly at them. Urata wasn't sure if the smile was sincere or not.

"I said cut it out." Kashitarou glared at the girl, who glared back at him.

"Please it's true. Soraru is just too shy to admit it."

"Just because you cling onto him doesn't mean he'll return the feelings." Sakata was clearly annoyed at her.

"As if you know what it's like to be in love."

Sakata only sighed, as sad look appeared on his face, before grabbing Urata's hand. He was beginning to pull the brunette towards the school, just like how Soraru did to the albino.

"Let's just go." He said, no emotion in his voice, worrying the brunette.

The others just looked as the girl glared at the redhead and then walked towards the school, not even giving them a single glance. They gave each other confused looks and hesitantly followed the two into the school. This doesn't seem good, was what they all thought as they went to class.

The lunch bell rang, Mafu watched Sakata get up quickly and leave the classroom, like he was in a hurry. He could tell the redhead's mood had been down ever since the morning.

"I hope Sakata is okay. He seems really upset about that girl."

Senra looked at the redhead, disappearing in the crowd of students, with a worried expression.

"Ah! Just who is that girl?!" Amatsuki complained.

Mafu just shrugged his head as they made their way to the cafeteria to meet up with the others. Once they got there, they saw Sakata looking down as Urata tried to comfort him. Shima just awkwardly waved at them when they approached.

"Hey guys."

"Hi Shima." Mafu said as he looked at the redhead again.

"Where's Soraru?"

"The clingy girl took him away." Sakata said in an emotionless voice.

Urata winced at the redhead's tone, he didn't like seeing his boyfriend gloomy.

"Eh? He ditched us for her?!" Amatsuki exclaimed,

Mafu became upset at the brunette's statement. Amatsuki noticed Mafu's sudden change in mood and apologized.

"Ah, sorry Mafu. I didn't mean it like that."

"It's fine Ama-chan."

"Don't worry, she was the one to drag Soraru. Trust me when I say that he'd rather be with us than with her." Kashitarou assured the albino, who calmed down a bit after hearing that.

"Well, let's go to the roof I guess." Shima said as he lead them to the roof, where they can at least be in peace and quiet. They had finished their lunch and were just talking when Lon appeared.

"Eh? Lon? What are you doing here?" Kashitarou asked the blonde girl who smiled at them.

"Soraru told me to give this to Sakata."

She handed him a piece of paper. Sakata looked at him before mentally facepalming himself.

"Ah~ I was wondering where it was~"

"What is it?" Urata questioned the redhead, who just sheepishly laughed.

"Ah, I just forgot my homework."

"Seriously? What an idiot." Urata gave his boyfriend an exasperated look for his stupidity.

"Www. But you like this idiot~" Sakata grinned as the brunette blushed and pushed him away.

"Shut up."

They were laughing at the couple's antics when a voice interrupted them. They all went to the rail to see the sight.

"Soraru~ Don't ignore your girlfriend~"

They all looked down to see a dark-haired girl dragging an annoyed Soraru. They could tell by the look on his face that he wanted nothing more than to leave her clutches.

"Www. This scene seems familiar." Senra sarcastically joked as they remembered when they first saw Soraru they were looking down at him from the roof.

Although this time, instead of looking happy while talking to Lon, he looked harsh and had a cold expression.

"Wait, Kashitarou! You didn't tell me she came back!"

Lon looked at the brunette with an accusing look. Kashitarou just sheepishly smiled at the blonde.

"I forgot."

"Okay can someone explain! Why do you three know about her?!"

Amatsuki was getting annoyed that they seem to know the girl and they don't.

"You didn't tell them?"

Lon looked at Kashitarou, who was acting like he didn't see the blonde girl's exasperated stare. She sighed and turned her attention towards the five confused boys.

"Her name is Kana."

"Yeah we figured much when she told us." Urata sarcastically said, leading to Lon punching his arm.

"I don't need your smart-ass attitude Urata. Do you guys want to know, yes or no?"

They just nodded as Urata rubbed his arm to ease the pain from the punch.

"Well, she was friends with us in middle school. She was really nice but then popularity got to her and started to get caught up in gossip and rumors. She looks down at me and Sakata while beginning to cling to Soraru. Though, Kana was a really nice friend before...." Lon sadly smiled as she remembered when her old friend was nicer.

"Why does she look down at you two?" Senra asked the other blonde who just sighed.

"Cause she heard the rumors of me and Soraru. She thought I was trying to 'take her boyfriend' away from her."

"She doesn't know that niichan is related to me so she doesn't like that I was around him all the time. She would say I'm 'clingy' or 'desperate for his attention.' Plus she never liked me in the first place since I didn't 'fit' into the group." Sakata just laughed bitterly as he saw his brother get dragged around.

"Well that's stupid. Just cause you hang around him doesn't mean anything." Shima said as the two just shrugged.

Lon began to walk towards the stairs as the others looked at her leave.

"Lunch is almost over so, see you guys tomorrow."

Just as the blonde girl said, the lunch bell rang and they all went back to class. Sakata walked up to the albino, who had been quiet during the whole exchange.

"Don't worry Mafu, niichan doesn't have any feelings for her. You can still confess to him."

Sakata smiled brightly at the albino, who couldn't resist smiling back.

"Thanks Sakata."

The redhead grinned and walked ahead as Mafu's negative thoughts began to fill his mind. But what if I'm not good enough.....

So a love triangle appears. I didn't want to make it another utaite cause I don't want to make them hurt (says this while I make the brothers suffer) so I just made them a random person.

The introduction of Kana is something I wanted to write since it'll help lead to Soraru's confession (yes Soraru is the one going to confess to Mafu, how? That you'll have to wait~)
