Finns pov
I was walking around campus, hand in hand with Kate.
It was late, so it was dark out. We like taking night walks, so I can talk to her about things. She talks to me about things too.
She had an eating disorder when she was in highschool. She was anorexic. She fought it, and she became better around senior year. It's a sensitive subject for her.
She pulled me towards a place in the grass, and we laid down, looking up at the stars.
I made out with Millie last night.
"How was your day yesterday? I didn't see you." She said, and I looked at her.
"It was good, how was yours?" I asked.
I made out with Millie last night.
"It was okay. Kinda boring." Kate said, and I nodded.
We were sitting up now, our hands still interlocked, as we were looking at them. I felt her eyes on me, and I looked at her.
"You're really cute, did you know that?" She asked, and I smiled.
We leaned in and softly connected our lips together, the feeling of her small hand on the side of my face.
We let go after a couple seconds, foreheads lightly resting on each other's. She was looking down at my lips.
"Is something up? You can tell me." Kate said quietly.
Do I tell her Millie is here? What is she going to think? Well, obviously she'd be supportive about what I would do. But I can't just break up with Kate then get with Millie. I'm not that kind of guy.
"Not at the moment." I said, and we backed away, so we could look at each other.
"If there is something on your mind later, you can text me, or I can come over. I'm here to talk if you need to." She said, and I tucked a piece of her dirty blonde hair behind her ear. She lightly smiled at me, and I did it back.
I stood up and helped her up, and quickly kissed her on the lips and pulled back, making her laugh.
"I'll walk you to your dorm." I said, and she nodded, as we walked towards her dorm.

Millie's pov
"Millie!" I jumped, as Maddie yelled my name.
"What?" I yelled back.
"You fell asleep." She said, as I looked at the homework I had in front of me.
I groaned and laid back into the bed.
"I'm dying." I said, and she laughed.
"Me too." She said, as her phone went off. She checked it and smiled.
"Who are you texting?" I asked, sitting up.
"Nobody." She said, and I got up and grabbed her phone from her.
"Millie give it back!!" She yelled, smiling, and she chased me and tackled me on my bed, and we were both laughing.
I got a glimpse of the contact name, and saw it was Wyatt.
She took it back before I could read the text.
"Aweeeeeee Wyatt!!!" I yelled, and she rolled her eyes and smiled.
"I hate you." Maddie said, and I laughed.
I finished my homework up, and Maddie was talking to me about her classes.
"Do you wanna go down to the place downstairs where everyone hangs out?" Maddie asked. I groaned.
"They have pool," Maddie said, and I smiled.
"Lets go." I said, getting up and grabbing the key, and we went downstairs.
We got down there and looked around, and we saw pool was open. We started a game.
I was walking to put away the triangle thing, when I bumped into a girl by accident.
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!" I said, and she smiled.
"Don't apologize, it was my fault." She said, and I smiled.
"But I ran into you first," I said, and Maddie yelled at us from across the table.
"It was both of your fault. There." Maddie said, and we all laughed.
She had dirty blonde, straight hair, that went to down a little under her shoulders, and she has freckles across her cheeks. She's pretty. She's probably an inch or two taller than me.
"I'm Millie, by the way," I said, holding out my hand for her to shake.
"I'm Kate." She said, and we shook hands.
"Well it was nice meeting you, and sorry for bumping into you, it's been a long night," She said, laughing a little.
"Nice meeting you too! It was my fault though," I said, and we laughed as she walked away.
"Millie, do you not realize who that is?" Maddie asked.
"I guess not. Who is it?" I asked.
"It's Finns girlfriend." Maddie said, and my eyes widened.
"She's so pretty and nice. I'm happy for him." I said, and Maddie raised her eyebrows.
"What?" I asked, and she shrugged.
"Oh nothing." She said, and I rolled my eyes.
"Obviously something." I said, and she looked at me.
"Well your hair kinda looked messed up when you grabbed me to stay over at Finns." She said.
"So what are you implying?" I asked.
"That you and Finn made out." She said. I looked at her, and she knew that I knew she's right.
"Okay we did for like, 10 seconds but then we stopped and resolved what was happening. It was just old feelings." I said, and she raised her eyebrows.
"Totally." She said, and I groaned. She laughed.
-
We walked back to our dorm room, and Maddie was talking to me.
"Wyatt invited me over, if you wanted to come also." She said.
"Was I even invited? I don't wanna just show up if I'm not invited." I said.
"He said that Finn is bored so you should come over." She said, and I nodded.
We went back to our room and I checked the time, it being 9:00.
"We're going pretty late." I said, and she shrugged.
We went to their dorm, and Wyatt answered it.
"Hey, come in." He said, opening the door. I walked in and saw Finn sitting on his bed, back against the wall. We did a slight smile to each other, and then I looked away.
"So what do you guys want to do?" Wyatt asked. I shrugged, so did Maddie. I sat down along with Sadie.
"Well there's a party going on upstairs if you guys wanted to go to that." Wyatt said. I rolled my eyes, but Maddie gasped excitedly.
"We're is going. Millie, lets get ready." She said, and I rolled my eyes.
"Maddie I'm not in the mood to go to a party tonight." I said, and she looked at me for a couple seconds, and nodded.
She understands a lot of things about me, I'm happy she does so she doesn't push me to do things I don't want to do.
"Finn you coming?" Wyatt asked. I looked to Finn, who looked super tired.
"No, I'm probably just gonna sleep." He said, and I looked at him, and we made eye contact for a split second before we both looked away again.
Why is it so weird?
"Okay I'll be back in like ten minutes, Millie help me find something to wear." Maddie said, taking my hand and we went to our room.
I picked out a cute and simple dress for her to wear. She looks good in anything so it wasn't a problem at all.
"Thank you Mills. I might crash at Wyatt's, but I'll text you if I don't." She said, and I smirked.
"Millie stop smirking at me," Maddie said, and I laughed, before I heard a boom of thunder, and pellets of rain hit our window.
"Bye Mills," Maddie said, walking out the door. I looked out the window, and saw a crack of lightning in the sky.
Well, this is gonna be a long night.
-
I was laying in bed, trying to sleep, but I couldn't. I never sleep during storms.
The thunder got louder every time it hit. It just made me more scared. I don't know why I still get scared of them, I'm basically an adult.
I was hugging a pillow, when I heard a soft knock on my door. I look at it, and decide to get up and answer it. I check the clock, and it's about 1 in the morning. Maddie should be coming home, it's probably her.
I walk to the door and open it, to see a set of black curls that definitely aren't Maddie's.
I look into Finns eyes, and I could tell that he hadn't been sleeping either.
"What are you doing here?" I asked softly. I looked down at what he was wearing, and he was wearing some black joggers with a plain black T-shirt, the usual look of Finn Wolfhard.
"I remember that you're not too fond of thunderstorms." He said, and I tried to hold back a smile but failed, and looked down as I felt my cheeks heat up.
Is it hot in here?
I hide the smile again and look up at him, who probably saw me smiling, because he has a slight smile on his face.
"Yeah, I still don't like them. I don't sleep when they happen." I said, and he nodded.
"D-do you want me to sleep with you?"
My stomach flipped, and I met his eyes.
"Don't you want to sleep in your own bed? You didn't have to wake up to come over and make me feel better." I said, getting a better look at him in my doorway.
Did he get taller?
"I've been up all night. I didn't know if I should come over here or not but I finally decided to, just incase, ya know." He said, and I smiled for a second, but it dropped as a boom of thunder hit, shaking a picture on my wall.
"You can, yeah." I said, and he nodded, as I let him in, then shut the door again.
He laid on one side and I laid on the other.
I felt his presence next to me, and it gave me nerves. I wonder if he can sense that I'm a huge bubble of nervousness. He makes me nervous.
We laid there for a couple more minutes, and then we heard another thing of thunder, and my breathing started to pick up for a second.
He faced me and put his arms out.
We didn't have to say anything as I snuggled up against him, my head on his chest and his hand around me, placed on my back, my other arm gently slinging around his stomach, gripping his shirt on the other side of him.
I felt his heartbeat against his chest, and it was going at a somewhat fast pace. I wonder if he could feel mine. I'm glad he can't.
I felt his thumb on my back start to trace my back, and my stomach erupted with butterflies, and I was going crazy.
I don't-I can't like him. Can I really do this all over again? Would he even want to?
I try to ignore my stomach that flips every time I feel him trace his thumb on my back, but atleast it's distracting me from the storm.
