The Twist of the War-Chapter 23
Dark handed you black converse high shoes and a cloak before everybody left. He said to keep the cloak around you so that you were prepared. You didn't understand what that meant but you just nodded your head. He also did another thing. Also before you left, he asked you to lift up your shirt. You were hesitant but you did as he asked. He traced his fingers along your back in a formation that you oddly recognized. It felt like he was tracing wings. Soon, you found out that your answer was correct. He made a tattoo on your back in the formation of wings. He said that if you had to use them, then take off your shirt and spin your shoulders back once. The feeling of wings would be what you feel. To control them, all you had to do was arch your back and flap rapidly. Weird, but amazing and incredible. It also gave you the weird excuse of wearing a sports bra. But moving on. Now, all of you were back on the train.
Google said that he talked to Wilford last night and found out where we are going to meet today. You still felt a little weary about the battle but you had the comfort of an angel, demon, human, and technology. You looked at the floor of the train as you trailed out into thought. But you were soon interrupted by Dark. "Should we go over the plan?" He said facing everybody. Everybody nodded their head as they stared at him. "Ok." He replied. "I don't know who we will be going against. Of course we are going against Wilford but I don't know who his companions are. So, if we are going against thousands of them, be prepared to fight. If there are only little of them, then be prepared for a small battle." Everybody, once again, nodded their head.
"Who shall be our representative?" Google asked. Dark sighed and looked down at you. Then everybody's eyes locked on you. "What?" You asked. "You...are the representative." He said quietly. Your eyes widened. "What does a representative do?" You asked kind of scared. "They represent the team and fight the other representative on their opponents side." Google answered for Dark. Your breath quickened a little as you thought about fighting Wilford. You fighting him was like Mark fighting Dark. Obviously, Dark was going to win. Dark snickered. "Nice thought." Dark said as you blushed and gave a little smile.
The rest of the ride was silent. Soon, the train stopped and the doors swung open. You stood up and looked out and noticed that it was slightly snowing, but the ground was still covered in a layer of snow. You lifted up your hood on the cloak as a cold breeze ran past you. You walked out and looked behind you to see everybody else walking out. Dark looked as if he's been through several snow blizzards and this one was just nothing to him. Mark, on the other hand, looked like he had never even seen snow before. He had his arms wrapped around his chest and he was shivering. Light looked like Dark. Barely shivering and looked like he was used to this kind of weather. Google, once again, the same. You grinned and turned back around. Dark came up beside you and looked over at you. "Ready?" He asked. You smiled. "I have been asked that question so many times for different reasons, yet, I always say the same answer." You paused and looked forward with a serious expression on your face. "Yes."
Time skip~~~~~~~
You have been walking for at least 10 minutes and you already felt like you were numb. The cloak only provided half of your protection from the snow while the rest of your body was just left to be frozen. Dark noticed your shivering and looked over at you. He chuckled as he took off his shirt and allowed his wings to step into reality. He wrapped his wing around your shoulder and pushed you closer. You looked up at him and smiled. He grinned and kissed your forehead gently.
Marks POV
I can't believe he did that. Dark could be an asshole sometimes. And one of those times were now. I growled as I thought of how to split them up. Or at least make Y/N angry at Dark. That's when I found the plan. I walked a few more paces but soon fell down. I gave out a little Yelp as I held my knee. Y/N quickly turned around and ran over to me. She crouched down and placed her hand on my back. "Are you ok?" She asked. I could hear the worry in her voice as I shook my head. "I don't know. I was walking and all of a sudden, my knee gave away and started hurting." I replied as I pretended to wince in pain at the end of my sentence. Dark rolled his eyes and walked over to me. "You'll be fine, you big baby." He said as he crossed my arms. Y/N looked up at him with a shock and angry expression on her face. "He's hurt. That doesn't mean you should treat him like shit." Y/N said as she helped me up.
She took my arm and allowed it to go around her shoulder. "I am going to help him walk. If you want to help, then that would be better." She said as she stared at him. He sighed and nodded his head. He walked over to my other side and took my arm. He placed it around his shoulder and started walking at the same pace as Y/N. Not really what I was looking for but it will do. I smiled at my victory as we continued our journey.
Y/N's POV
We continued to carry Mark until we saw people standing in the distance. You breathed in heavily as we walked over to the people. Mark insisted on walking himself for the rest of the walk. Dark let go but you kept holding on. You felt bad for him. You walked up to the people that you recognized very clearly. More ipliers. You recognized at least one of them. Glitchiplier. The rest were almost exact copies of Dark and Light. An angel and a demon. The other one was just a complete look alike of Mark. There was a guy in a cloak that looked kind of suspicious but you just shrugged it off. All of you stopped and just stared at them.
Glitch smiled and stepped forward. "So these are the people, huh?" He said with a, of course, glitchy voice. He looked at everybody except for you. You were last. He smiled wider. "A piece of stupid technology, an angel with bad experience in fighting, a human who is simply an idiot, a demon who does what he wants but sometimes fails, and finally, a beautiful girl who finds it impossible to choose one person in her life to love." He said. You snarled at his comment even though you let blush take over half of your face. He chuckled. "I think the pick would be easier if I were involved." He stepped closer towards you. "The names is Glitchiplier. But you could just call me Glitch." He said while smiling. "Stop it, Glitch." The demon on the other side said. Glitch chuckled and backed away. "Fine, lets just start this thing." He responded. You stared at him as everybody else got into position. "Representatives, step forward." Glitch yelled. You breathed in deeply before stepping forward. The person in the cloak also stepped forward.
"Representatives, pull back your hoods." He yelled once again. You let your breath out as you trailed your hands up to the brim of the hood and pulled it backwards so that it lay on your back. The person did it at the same time as you did. That person was Wilford. He smirked as your heart quickened. "Representatives, at the count of three, you will already be prepared for war. Once three is counted off, everybody will attack. It is up to the both of you to where you want to fight. Whoever is stabbed first in the chest will lose. The person who stabbed shall be the winner." Glitch said sternly. You didn't take your eyes off of Wilfords. And his eyes didn't leave yours. You bent your arm down and pulled out the dagger. You felt around the dagger and felt something that felt like a button. You pressed it and noticed that the dagger was now a sword. You didn't look all the way down to admire it. You still kept your eyes on Wilford. "One!" Glitch yelled. This was it. This was the beginning of the war. "Two!"he yelled once again. You started shaking slightly as you kept your eyes locked on Wilford. "Threeee!" He yelled finally as everybody sprinted for each other.
Wilford started walking towards you. You started backing away slowly as he approached you. You stopped once you were away from the battle. He stopped too. "You know, we don't have to fight." He said while staring at you. "There is no reason to. I can feel your fear. You don't want to fight. You never did. Dark wanted to fight. He wanted me dead. He wanted you all to himself. That's why he wanted you on your side." He continued as he walked towards you. He placed the back of his hand on your cheek. "I'm not the bad guy." He whispered. You closed your eyes and sighed. "You lie." You said before stabbing your sword forward. He dodged it and smiled. "Afraid to show your weaknesses, huh?" He said as you tried to hit him again. You missed and he dodged. You did it once more but only cut the flesh on his arm. "Afraid to show how frustrated you are?" He said as you tried kicking him this time. He dodged it, once again, at the last second. You lashed the sword forward once again. He quickly grabbed your arm and bent it behind your back. He placed his lips next to your ear. "Afraid to show who you love?" He whispered causing shivers to be sent down your spine. You pulled away and looked at him. He just smiled.
"Afraid to show everything? Everything that you have been holding in? All of your emotions? All of your deep feelings? All of your questions? Afraid of some of your answers?" He said while stepping closer to you. "Stop it!" You screamed. His smiled grew wider. "Than tell me, who do you love?" He asked calmly. You snarled and shook your head while gritting your teeth. "Dark? Mark? Light? Me? You have to choose one, Y/N." Wilford said while still walking towards you. You grasped your head. "Shut up!" You yelled. You quickly looked behind you. You couldn't tell who was winning or who was losing. They all looked alike. The only one who you could notice was Google. And so far, he was winning. You looked back at Wilford. "Time's running out, Y/N. You have to choose one." He said. You growled. "Retreat!" You yelled as you started running into the distance.
You looked behind you to see people running after you. You couldn't tell who they were until you saw Wilford. You gasped and quickly took off your cloak and shirt. You arched your back and allowed your wings to unfold. You then started flapping rapidly as your feet lifted off of the ground. You stayed focus on your flapping as you looked down you could see where your team was. You started flying towards them only to be stopped by your screaming. You started falling down as you looked at your wing. Well, what do you know. It was a freakin dagger. You looked up to see Wilford now flying. You landed on your back as you cried out in pain. You looked to your left to see Dark running towards you. You looked up to see another dagger going straight for your chest. You quickly slid over so that you could avoid the dagger. The dagger came down right next to your arm, allowing it to cut some of your flesh. You winced in pain as you looked at the cut. It was just a normal cut that could be healed in seconds. You looked back at Dark to see him now picking you up bridal style.
Your vision began to go blurry as you arched your back. The dagger was taking over the wing and it hurt like hell. You looked behind him to see Wilford swiftly land himself on the ground and walk over to you with a wicked grin. "Dark, watch out." You whispered as you pointed at Wilford. He turned his head to see Wilford as he started running. Since his shirt was off, he was able to fly. He lifted himself off of the grind with you safely in his hands. "No, your wings...they're damaged." You said as your vision became more blurry. You looked behind him to see Wilford still chasing after you but flying now. You looked back at Dark and passed out from blood loss. So...battle won or lost?
