(Okay so I randomly found this pic like four different times on Pinterest and suddenly came up with a pretty good plot for it. If this is from another book/comic that you know of, please let me know! But as far as I know I'm the first to have this particular idea so enjoy!)

(Akko POV- Present)

It's been years since I graduated from Luna Nova. The only thing I regret was I never told Diana Cavendish how deeply in love I was with her.

Now she's off and married to Amanda of all people and I'm back at the school as the new Potions teacher. Alone.

"Hey there, Akko!" Chariot calls to me. She's still a teacher even though she's old enough to retire.

"Hm?" I hum, glancing up from the pile of work on my desk.

"Wanna see this cool machine Croix just built?" she asks with a smile. She always grins like that at the mention of her wife.

"Sure!" I say, knowing full well Croix makes the coolest gadgets (other than Constance).

We arrive in her room to see a tube-like chamber with many buttons.

"Ah, you guys are just in time to help me test out this time machine!" Croix says excitedly.

"Time machine?! Is that even possible?!" Chariot says in disbelief.

"I'm about to find out! Akko, wanna try it first?" Croix asks, fiddling with some switches and such on the machine.

I think back to my days at the school. I could tell my younger self to ask Diana on a date! Then we'd be together in the future!

"YEAH!" I say, maybe a bit too loud.

"Okay, where to?" Croix asks once I'm standing safely inside.

I think back for a minute before it hits me. "The day after Diana and I stopped the missle." I say confidently.

"Alrighty! Now don't go too far from the machine. I can only send it back for ten minutes before it's programmed to come back here so I can't get you out if you miss it." Croix says seriously.

"Understood." I nod as she flips a lever and I'm sucked into a black hole.

(Diana POV- 6 years ago)

I was walking through the school courtyard when a bright light shines out of nowhere.

I open my eyes to see... Akko?

Wait can't be Akko! She's taller and her... are bigger than Akko's! I blush at my own thoughts. Still, it looks just like her...

I ready my wand in case they're dangerous.

"Who are you? Where did you come from?!" I ask, pointing it at them.

"Diana! I-It's me, Akko! I came from the from the future with Croix's time machine." she says, standing up and dusting herself off.

"Akko..?" I ask in disbelief.

"Well what are you doing here? Is something wrong? Have you come to warn us of something?!" I ask, beginning to worry.

"N-No! Everything's fine! I just needed to talk to my younger self. I want to stop myself from making a huge mistake." she says, ending with sadness in her voice.

I think for a second before speaking up. "Akko, you're from the future, right? Is your world a better place?"

She smiles softly, hugging me close.

"That depends on who you ask. But if you ask me, meeting you made my world a better place." she says softly.

I blush. "Well what's the difference between my time and yours?" I ask, wondering why she felt the need to come here.

"Well that's easy! In my time it's too late, but here, I can still be with you." She whispers, making my face heat up in embarrassment.

"Diana!" A familiar voice calls to me. I turn around to see my Akko walking up to us.

The older Akko lets go of me, walking closer to Akko and whispering into her ear.

(Past Akko POV)

"Tell her how you feel. I think she feels the same way." The tall stranger who looks a lot like me says into my ear.

I glance over at Diana, blushing like crazy.

"Just do it. Be brave." The woman says, squeezing my shoulder gently with a sincere smile.

I take a deep breath, stepping closer to Diana.

Confidently, I grab her by the hips, standing on my toes to bring my face close to hers.

"Diana... I love you." I whisper, crashing my lips onto hers.

Almost immediately I feel her kiss back, moving her hands to the back of my neck.

We pull apart for air as I see the deep red blush on Diana's face.

"I... love you too." she says softly, her face full of shock.

We pull apart as I turn to thank the stranger, but she was no where to be seen.

"Where did that lady go?" I ask, glancing around the courtyard.

"Who knows? Can I have another kiss?" Diana asks with a cute little smirk.

"Yes!" I say as I throw myself into her arms, never wanting to let go.

(Present Akko POV)

Seeing the two kiss, I quickly step back into the machine just before the door closes, once again being sucked into darkness.

When I arrive things look slightly different. Diana is waiting right outside the door with a smile.

"How did it go? Where did you go?" she asks once I step out.

All of a sudden new images, memories, come into my mind. Diana is in every single one. Including our wedding.

I smile warmly, a slight blush dusting my cheeks.

"Doesn't matter. I'm back here with the woman I love, and that's all I could ask for." I say, holding her close.
