She brought down her right wrist, my eyes widening in realization-

(Diana POV)

I bite my lip, watching the brunette' s eyes widen in realization as her eyes found mine.

"You're... You... Wow..." she says, her eyes still wide as her arm falls slack at her side.

"I found you..." I say, still dazed by this new turn of events.

"Wow... I mean... Wow..." she mutters, running a hand through her long hair with a goofy grin on her face.

"I mean- I had hoped you'd be beautiful, but I didn't think you'd be this good looking." she says with a nervous chuckle as my cheeks burn with blush.

"W-What?" I squeak out at her previous statement, noticing that my friends and Amanda had wandered off somewhere to most likely give us a bit of privacy to talk.

"I said," she began, taking a step closer with a smirk, "You are insanely beautiful, and I'm the luckiest girl alive." she ends with a whisper, her face inches from mine.

I feel the urge to shrink back but I soon find that I can't as my back presses to the wall.

"I... You're way better looking than me." Oh my god, did that just come from my mouth?!

Now it was her turn to blush, that sly smirk of hers fading completely as she bit her lip in embarrassment.

She looks into my eyes, her eyes quickly darting for the slightest second to glance at my lips, wetting her own with her tongue.

I feel my eyes glance down towards her small, pink lips, feeling the urge to press my own against them.

"I really want to kiss you." I word vomit, instantly wanting nothing more than to crawl under a rock for the rest of my life.

"Then kiss me." Akko smirks once again, tilting her head slightly in anticipation.

F*ck it. I lean forward, capturing her lips with my own.

She immediately kisses back, one arm snaking around my waist as the other presses softly against my cheek.

I bring both of my hands up to cup her face, pulling her lips even closer to my own.

I had never felt my heart race this fast. It was... incredible.

We pull away slowly as my eyes flutter open.

Her eyes were still shut though she wore a big smile.

"Wow..." she whispered, opening her eyes to look deeply into mine.

"Yeah.." I reply with a chuckle, my hands trailing down to sling around her neck.

"So," she starts, wetting her lips without breaking our eye contact, "I guess I finally found you."

I blush a bit as a smile tugs at my face, nodding in answer.

"Yeah, I guess you did." I say, leaning in for another long-awaited kiss.
