Encounter
~Jonathan~
It was like any other day at my house, parents noticed that I was there, but payed no mind to me as I walked in to the kitchen. A plate with a slice of breakfast pizza sitting on the marble counter top next to the stainless steel sink, with a note next to it.
Good morning sweetheart. Hope you have a great day at school. Your father and I won't be home when you get back home today. We love you and I hope you enjoy this pizza.
~ Mom
I just simply threw the note away. It's nothing new to me, they're always gone on business trips. Whenever they're actually home, they never spend time with me. Their lives are all about work, no time for Jonathan. I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice that I ate all of my breakfast.
I went up to my room to take a quick shower and get dressed for school.
{Time skip}
I locked the door to the house and made my way towards the bus stop.
As I was walking, I saw this boy sitting on the bench. I'm not gonna lie, he was very good looking. He had an orange colored curly bush of hair on his head and the most beautiful brown eyes you'd ever seen.

I walked closer to the boy, since I wanted to meet him and I had to go there to get on the bus.
The quiet character was-what appeared to be- sketching.
The image translated into the piece of paper were two boys.... kissing.

I tapped the guy on the shoulder. He turned around and a huge hue of red clouded his pale, freckled face.
"Sup, I'm Jonathan. Whats your name?" I asked him. He looked up at me from where he was sitting on the bench and hid the picture in his sketch pad.
"Ummm........... Hey. I'm Sherwin." The boy, who's name I learned was Sherwin, replied as I took a seat next to him.
We say there in silence for a little bit before I decided to start the conversation up again, since it was clear that he was the shy type; wanting to start the conversation up again but didn't have the courage to do so.
"I really like your drawing. It reminds me of a dream I had once...." I say. His eyes are focused on me now, curiosity flowing through his veins. I could just tell he wanted to know.
"I was about 11 years old in this dream, and there was this boy; he resembled you in a way. Well, in the looks category. Wild but tangle free hair, brown eyes, and he would only talk to me. You know, because he was shy and I'm guessing that I was his only friend." I spoke in a gentle but friendly tone. "But, I never learned his name."
The boys, I mean Sherwin's face was a deep shade of red. He looked as if he wanted to say something, but I was stopping him from saying it.
"Oh! I'm sorry....." I began."I talk to much." I mumbled under my breath. He let out a small chuckle. It was a soft chuckle, not to soft, but soft enough to hear- just like his voice.
"......It's....ok......" His voice trailed off, as if it were walking away for a while. It went quiet for a few minutes before I decided to start the conversation up again.
"Would you like to be friends? I mean... Since it seems that you don't really have any..." I say and regret it soon after. Sherwin was crying. "I'm so sorry." My voice began to crack. The tears were streaming down his face as I embraced(hugged) him. After a few minutes of tears and apologies, Sherwin had stopped crying and Jonathan had made a new friend. The same goes for the ginger he had been sitting next to.
The bus had finally come to take the two teens to school, which is where the real friendship will begin.
