I rolled on my bed lazily even though I knew school had resumed and I had to get ready in the next thirty minutes.

"Waky waky," I heard my Nanny's voice call out to me as I stayed still on my bed, pretending to still be asleep. "I saw you rolling on the bed earlier, so get up dear or you'll be late."

I smiled, before I bursted into laughter as my nanny whom was more like my mum tickled me in my armpit.

"Stop! Stop!! I'm awake," I shouted in-between laughter and opened my eyes to meet the rays of sunlight that shone brightly into my room. I shielded my eyes against the sun with a broad smile still present on my face. "Why is the sun out, so early this morning?" I asked.

"Well that's because it's 7:45am already." she said.

"ohhhh, shit," I cursed. "I'll be late on my first day of resumption."

She nodded and smiled at me while I immediately stood up from my bed and scurried into the bathroom, then I went back into my room and saw my Nanny there, arranging my bed. "I forgot to say this." I said to her gaining her attention.

"What did you forget to say?"

"Good morning! And you look beautiful as always." I said before going back into the bathroom.

After having my bath, I brushed my teeth and went back to my room where I saw my school uniform- a white short sleeve shirt, a black flare skirt, a black bowtie, a pair a black stockings, and my maroon red blazer, well ironed, laying on my bed while my black school shoe, well polished was placed at the foot of my bed. I smiled because I knew that only one person could have done that for me.

Nanny.

After dressing, I did my compulsory morning prayer before I walked down my over huge house towards the dining table where I could see my Dad already seated, eating his breakfast while Nanny attended to him.

I went over to where he was seated and back hugged him. "Good morning Dad." I greeted him, pecking him on his cheeks.

"My beautiful angel," He cooed me. "How was your night?"

"Fine." I replied as I dragged out a chair near him on the dinning table and sat on it, while Nanny helped in dishing out my breakfast. Which was pap also known as ÒGĪ and bean cake also known as ÀKÁRÁ.

My dad cleared his throat. "Pinky dear." He called out to me.

"Sir." I replied with bean cake stuffed in my mouth.

"Chase-I mean junior. Will be attending your school from today." He said to me with a smile on his face.

I smiled back at him. Definitely the news was a good news. Chase had never ever attended a real secondary school as far as I knew. He had been home schooled for reasons that I wasn't aware of. And also Chase and my dad had been at loggerheads with each other after my mom's death. He even moved out of the house when he was sixteen, because of his fight with dad, and I wasn't able to see him since then. And I honestly didn't know what their fight was all about.

There were a lots of things that I didn't know about chase.

Truly Chase was my twin but I didn't know anything about him. His personality. His likes and dislikes. Sometimes I even thought that he might be bipolar because of his sudden mood swings and also he rarely smiled, but that didn't mean I didn't love him. I do. And every opportunity I had to show him how much I loved him.

I grabbed it.

So since he would be attending my school, I would be able to show him how great of a twin I am, and also how much I love him.

"Pinky, dear." My dad voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "What are you thinking about?" He asked.

"Nothing." I smiled. "I'm just happy, at least I'll get to see him more." I said.

He smiled. "I knew you would be very happy, that's why I couldn't wait to share the news with you."

"Yes, I'm happy," I replied him still smiling. "Does it mean, he will also be moving back into the house with us?" I asked my dad, as I kept a spoonful of pap into my mouth.

My dad face changed into a sad one and I already knew what the answer was even without him talking. "No, right? he still hasn't agreed to move back in." I said, with a sad smile on my face.

Dad nodded and he smiled, but the smile didn't look real. "You know how, stubborn chase is? So let's still give him some time."

I hummed and continued eating my breakfast without any one of us talking. After breakfast, i stood up from the dining table, went up to my room to grab my school bag and most importantly my iPhone 12, because as an Instagram influencer I need to be always updated, so I have to be up to date.

I walked back downstairs and still saw my dad at the dining but this time he was reading the early morning news paper. I went over to where he sat and pecked him on his cheek. "Good bye dad, see you later."

"Alright dear, I will also be at your school."

"Okay, bye. . ." I baided him, as I hopped out of the house to my car, and I could sight my driver, Andy inside already.

I got to school sooner than expected due to the fact that there wasn't any traffic congestion on the road.

I walked into my class and the first person that I could sight was my best friend. My sister from another mother. My baby, my twinie, one of my few friends in school. "Rayo!!!" I called out to her.

"Pinky! Pinky!!" She greeted me as i walked towards her seat. "How are you doing? I thought you were no longer coming, and you've just missed the morning assembly."

I smiled at her, as she stood up from her seat and engulfed me in a bone crushing hug. "I'm fine, also I woke up late." I said, gasping for air as we broke the hug. "And I've really missed ya and your hug ooo." I told her.

"Uhmmmmm, you are talking like we don't talk everyday."

"Ehn, whatever I miss seeing you pretty face." I told her.

"We saw each other over the holiday." She said.

"Okay, okay, I'm just happy to see you again," I pulled her into another hug, patting her back and she patted mine back. "Oya ooo, hope you have gist oo?" I asked her, as we both went to our sits.

"You and gist Sha." She said hitting my head.

I frowned at her. "You know I don't like it when people hit me on my head, and I like hearing gist because it prevents me from thinking."

"Pele ooo, what do you even use to think about?" She asked, laying emphasis on the you.

I wish I could tell her, but I couldn't.

"Forget let gist jare," I told her trying to evade her question. "Nola how far?" I greeted Nola, my friend with the plaited hair who was seated on his seat talking to someone. And I guessed that was the reason he didn't notice me entering into the class because if he did he would have teased me.

"Pinky pink! Beautiful lady. What's up na?" He greeted me back smiling and I nodded to him also smiling back in response.

Me and rayo went to sit on our sit since we were both sitting partners. And we kept on gisting about lots of things, irrelevant things and relevant things until our account teacher, Mrs Belle entered into the class. "Good morning, ma." We all greeted in unison.

She smiled at us. "Good morning to you all," She greeted back. "And I so happy to see your beautiful faces this morning."

"We are also happy to see your own beautiful face this morning." Nola, my friend, the class clown or should I say class dummy said.

"Uhnnnnnn, thank you Nola, and you got more handsome ooo." she teased him, and the way she stressed the ooo implied sarcasm in her tone which made most of the class burst into laughter, even the dummy bursted into laughter, well apart from me, since I didn't know what was funny.

"Why are you all even laughing, is Nola not handsome ni?" Faree, the class Captain and the most beautiful albino that I had ever met with eyes the same color as the sun, and her hair the definition of fire said and the whole class stopped laughing.

Also Faree is Nola's girlfriend.

"Whatever." I murmured to myself in a sing song tone while all our attention was drifted back to the teacher.

Miss Belle started teaching and also revised the topics we did in SS2 with us since it was our first week of resumption. I listened with rapt attention but my bestie, Rayo, was painting her nails in the class. Typical Rayo. If she wasn't painting her nails in class, she would be reading a novel, or even eating.

Someone entered into the class earning everyone's attention even Mrs Belle whom was teaching was distracted by the presence and I looked up to see who entered and I saw her. The girl, the quiet one, the bullied one, the always sad one, the one I was angry at, the one with zero confidence, Lily Atata.

And I kept staring at her, as she faced the floor and kept on walking to her sit without minding or greeting anybody.

"Lily dear," Miss Belle called out to her, abrupting her walk to her seat. "You didn't say hello." She said.

She hesitated before she finally answered. "I'm sorry ma," She said to her, raising her head up to look at her. "Good morning ma'am." She greeted her.

Mrs Belle smiled at her. "You can go to your seat dear."

She hummed in response and walked directly to sit on her chair.

Mrs Belle continued her teaching, and after sometime her class came to an end, and she left and I left the class alongside Rayo since it was short break already.

We both walked to our sanctuary, the former biology lab and we met Jonathan seated there with a book in his hand and a pen in his mouth.

"My head boy, how are you?" Rayo greeted him as she ran to where he sat and threw him a back hug while I just kept my pace till I reached where they were.

Jonathan turned his head surprised to see us, mostly Rayo. And Rayo kept on hugging him.

"Oh my, God, baby, I've missed you." He said to Rayo as he pecked her on both sides of her cheek.

"I've missed you more babe." Rayo said releasing him from the hug and they kept gazing at each other, making me look invisible.

So yes, Jonathan and Rayo were both dating but before they started dating we were all best friends right from JSS1. Well Jonathan was a science student and also the head boy of TAHS.

"Hey pinky." Jonathan greeted me, as he dragged Rayo to sit down on his laps. "How are you doing and how was your holiday."

I smiled as I dragged out a stool near him, and sat on it. "I thought you didn't see me, because your girlfriend is here already." I said teasingly.

"Ahnnn ahnn na. . . Oya sorry." He apologized. Rubbing his hand on my head. I tapped his hand away from my head.

"You know I don't like it when people are touching my head." I told him rolling my eyes while Rayo just kept looking at us with a smile on her face. Then olumide my school son and Jonathan brother entered into the lab.

"Seniors good morning." He greeted.

"Hey." We all answered at the same time.

"Jinx." We all said at the same time again.

"Jinx padlock." We said simultaneously again, then we bursted into laughter.

"Olumide what are you doing in the SS3 building?" Jonathan asked him with a smile on his face.

"Principal said that I should call my school mother and she should come and meet him in the administrative building." He answered.

"Me?" Rayo asked and I hit her on her arm.

"And since when did you become his school mother?" I asked her.

"Ahn! Ahn!!" She exclaimed. "Olumide am I not your school mother?" She asked, winking a eye at him.

He smiled. "No senior Rayo, you are not. It is senior pinky." He answered. And Rayo kept her hands on her chest feigning to be hurt and she looked at me snapping her fingers at me while I stucked out my tongue to her.

"Olumide dear, you can go." I told him and he left.

"I'm shaking my head for both of you." Jonathan said, shaking his head.

Rayo turned on his laps to look at him with a fake frown present on her face. "What happen now?" She asked him.

"Nothing." he answered. "So. . . Pinky, what can the principal be calling you for?" He asked and Rayo turned her face to me.

"Honestly. . . I don't know." I answered.

"Did you do something wrong?" Rayo gasped. "Pinky Pink, on the first day of school you're being summoned by the principal, just WOW."

I smiled. "See my conscience is clear, I didn't do anything wrong but let me go and see him first." I said, standing up from the stool I sat on.

"Okay, bye bye." Rayo said and I scowled at her.

"Are you guys pursuing me away?" I asked.

"No! Never." Jonathan quickly answered.

I shrugged. "Okay ooo, Rayo don't Sha get pregnant before I get back." I told her.

She threw a biro at me which I guessed belonged to Jonathan but I dodged it and ran out of the abandoned lab laughing and I walked out of the SS3 building and as I was about to walk towards the administrative building, I saw him.

Tayo.

He was standing by the flowers that demarcated the buildings away from each other. My heart beat increased and started beating erratically as I got closer to him. Truth be told I was the one who broke up with Tayo when we were in SS2, but I never even got over him even though he may be had been a pain in the ass, a bully and a monster, I still loved him.

Yes I loved him. He was the love of my life. I had a crush on him since JSS1 and we both started dating secretly in JSS2 and became public in JSS3 and in the relationship he treated me like a queen until I saw the monster in him, but that didn't reduce the love I had for him. I stayed with him. I still loved him thinking he could still change, then it started.

"Hey," He greeted me and I halted with my heart beating uncontrollably fast that i even thought it was going to explode. I couldn't even bring myself to say hi to him back, in as much as I tried to. "Are you snubbing me?" He asked me calmly.

No.

"Pinky please answer," He said. "it been almost five months already and you've not said anything to me, it's killing."

I wish I could.

I was also dying to talk to him.

"Pinky, please answer me, I'm dying to hear your voice," He continued and he tried to touch me but I averted his touch. "Okay, I won't touch you, but at least talk to me."

I still couldn't bring myself to answer, so I continued walking again towards the administrative building when I felt a soft grip on my hand and I turned to see Tayo holding me with desperation written all over his face. "Pinky, I'm sorry, please forgive me for everything that happened, I didn't mean to. . ." He trailed off.

"Lea-Leave my. . . my hand." I stuttered, and he left my hand and I continued my walk to the principal's office without looking back, at the same time I tried not to think about Tayo.

Knock! Knock!! Knock!!!

"Come in." the principal shouted from behind the door and I entered into the office and was welcome by his over cold AC, but thank God I was putting on my blazer. I sighted my dad seated opposite the principal and one other person who I couldn't see his face clearly was standing besides him backing a school bag.

Probably a new student.

"Daddy!" I smiled as I hopped over to where he was seated looking dashing as ever in his well ironed suit.

"My dear how are you?" He asked me, smiling broadly.

"I'm fine dad." I answered. "And good morning Mr principal." I greeted him, bowing down a little. "You called for me sir."

"Yes, your dad said he has a surprise for you." Mr principal answered.

"So dad what are you doing here?" I asked facing him.

He smiled. "I told you I'd be here this morning." He said and he pointed to the person standing beside him. I looked at him and God! I was shocked.

No. . .no. . .no. . . I take that back. I was surprised.

No. . .I was flabbergasted.

A year. . . a year since I saw my twin brother last. A year since we spoke to each other and within that year he had changed. He had grown tall way taller than me. I was sure if I stood beside him I would had looked like a dwarf, a smaller dwarf or even his younger sister not his twin sister. Ordinary standing beside Tayo ehn I was a dwarf already. Also he was weirdly thin, but that aside he got more handsome, yes really, really, really, really, handsome.

Well that one about being handsome, is in the Fayeni family Gene. And his height? Well my it from my dad's side, they are weirdly tall in that family, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm short.

So yes, I took that from my mum side.

And he was smiling.

Smiling at me.

I immediately went to hug him and my head rested on his torso with his height towering over me and he wrapped his hands around me and I didn't know why but I felt peace, happiness, relieve, and at home. "I missed you." I told him.

"I missed you too." He muttered in his cool masculine voice into my ear and I smiled widely. Then we released each other from the hug but I kept smiling at him like a fool.

I heard the door to the principal office open and I turned my head to see who entered. I saw Mr qudus, my class teacher and government teacher walking into the office.

"Good morning Mr Williams." He greeted the principal.

"Hey Mr qudus." The principal greeted him back. "How are you doing?"

"Fine sir."

"Okay, so this is Mr Fayeni." The principal introduced my father to Mr qudus even though the introduction wasn't really needed. I mean who doesn't know my father.

Mr Femi Chase Fayeni. The business man, an entrepreneur, well known in the stock market sector as the highest gainer, the angel investor, the philanthropist, the fiftieth richest man in the whole of West Africa, my role model, my mentor, and Lagos number one son.

"Good morning sir." Mr qudus greeted my dad with a wide grin on his face.

"Hey, how do you do?" My dad greeted back. Stretching out his hand to shake him, and Mr qudus took his hands within a blink of an eye and I knew exactly what he was thinking...

Mama! I've made it.

"Pink, you're here?" Mr qudus asked me, and I smiled at him, with a 'isn't it obvious that I'm here' look. "Well short break is over already." He told me.

I looked at the principal and he nodded to me, indicating that I could go. So I bent to peck my dad on his cheek and I pecked my brother also on his cheek even though I had to stretch my whole body to reach him and I left for my class.

I went over to the abandoned lab to check if my friends were still there and I wasn't surprised to see that they weren't even there.

Walking straight to my class, it was really noisy, and as I made my way to my seat I heard someone call out my name and I knew the voice well. That deep voice that I can never forget even in my sleep I would still recognize the voice.

I pretended like I didn't hear and went to sit at my seat right next to Rayo and I gave her a weak smile and she seemed to understand.

"Tayo, please just leave." She told him, and he left. And I just sat on my seat without saying anything because Tayo already ruined my mood. And neither did Rayo say anything, then Mr qudus entered into the class with my twin, my brother and I smiled.

"Good morning class." Mr qudus greeted the class.

"Good morning sir." The rest of the class greeted him back in unison, including me and Rayo and they all looked confused.

"Lily, raise your head up." He ordered Lily, who seemed to be asleep and she answered him by raising up her head from her desk. "How's your day going Lily?" He asked her.

"Fine sir." she replied him.

And I looked at my brother, who apparently didn't seem to notice me, he was smiling and also he was snapping his left fingers.

"He's sooooo handsome and his height. . . Mehn, he is hot." Rayo whispered into my ear, and I smiled.

"Isn't he?" And she nodded in agreement.

Mr qudus smiled. "So a new student will be joining y'all today." He said gesturing to my my brother who stood near him. "Will you introduce yourself?" He asked my brother and he nodded in response.

He cleared his throat and gave a very bright and huge smile which melted my heart because growing up he rarely smiled. Also he still kept on snapping his left fingers. "Hi, I'm Chase Fayeni." He said.

Murmurs filled up the whole class and I knew what they were talking about.

"He has the same surname as you." Rayo told me.

I smiled. "I know right."

"So are you related?" She asked.

"Yes." I replied bluntly.

She looked at me like I was lying. "you're joking right?" She asked me jabbing my left arm.

"No, I'm not." I replied her. "He is my twin."

A/N

So this is an introduction into Pink life and other people I also used it to shed some light into chase life.

I also introduced other characters like Rayo, Pinky's best friend and NOLA, pinky friend, Jonathan, Pinky best friend also and Faree the class Captain and Nola's girlfriend.
