Tori found herself speed walking to find Tremaine and try to get more information about Carlyn and who she really is. She was determined to make sure that karma was returned ten fold at all costs. As she scurried to the main floor of Paisley the figure of Amman caught her eye at the front door. A small smile grew as she ran over to open it. Pushing the metal door open she greeted Andre happily and let him in and embracing him tightly.

"How are you Andre? It's good to see you!" She said.

"I'm doing alright! Just taking a break from the old ball and chain ya know?" Andre joked.

"Oh I'm sure your wife is a sweetheart. Stop it!" She said to him and playfully grabbed him on the arm.

She and Andre laughed and shared small talk before Andre got down to the reason why he was in town.

"So where is the man of the house anyway?" Andre asked Tori.

"Oh he's out back shooting some hoops to help calm his nerves about the baby shower."

"Oh boy. Let me guess he went all possessive about the planning and him and Carly aren't seeing eye to eye again?"

That was another bullet point that was unintentionally given to Tori without Andre really knowing what was up her sleeve.

"What do you mean not seeing eye to eye? I don't seem to follow." Tori coyly played to get more information about Prince's oldest adoptive child.

"Eh they always have a temporary falling out about little things. Parties, weddings, dinners, who's gonna be first to see the baby, what foods to eat or....in Prince's case what not to eat. The usual father daughter quarrels."

"Awwww c'mon I'm sure you know more about those two and their spats." Tori said attempting to dig a little deeper.

Tori may have been trying to entice Andre but he wasn't as slow to the game she had anticipated. Andre was already two steps ahead of her and shut her plan down instantly.

"No I'm serious! They don't really have any serious issues. They're just the average father and daughter that get into a little fight every now and again that's all. Don't stress to much Tori. I'm sure he's just anxious that's all. P and Carly have a great relationship I was just kidding about the arguing thing."

"I know Andre I'm just so.......curious about this new life I'm living. I feel so in the dark sometimes around here. Prince is always working and Carlyn I feel like she hated me before she really got to know me. I don't know how to get through to her. What do I do Dre?"

Andre did pick up on the negative chemistry between Carlyn and Tori and he and Prince found themselves talking about this very same issue just weeks ago and Prince had confided in him about the reason why Carlyn feels the way she does about his wife. Prince had explained to him that he came across the recording of Tori bad mouthing his children that he loves and adores so much. It was just enough for Andre to stay on guard and to make sure that the hidden dark secrets about Prince and Carlyn's relationship never come to light until this were going to change when it came to Tori. Andre's loyalty was always and will be with Prince and their immediate circle of friends and Tori wasn't going to be apart of that until she had changed her ways. This of course wasn't going to be an easy change because Andre could see through the vail of lies that Tori wore. The best thing to do at this point was to keep the conversations they have short and to the point.

"All I can say Tori is.....give her some time and let her see you for who you are. She'll come around you just gotta keep it real."

Andre placed a hand on Tori's shoulder and shook her gently them headed toward the kitchen to go out in the back to see his best friend.

Tori thought that she was going to get the dirt from Andre but that attempt had fallen through so she continued on to her main mission. She walked up the second floor steps to the studio hall then down to the end of the corridor in hopes to find Tremaine wondering about the premises. Instead her ears were hit with the soft sound of a guitar playing in the opposite direction. She stopped and listened for a moment and the song she heard didn't sound anything like what her husband would play. The sound was young and fresh. Curious and simple. That was the sound was a young artist coming into their own style.

"That must be him!" Tori thought to herself and quickly turned around and followed the song back towards studio A.

When she got there she was expecting to find Tremaine there working on a song and making music a new hobby to impress Carlyn but she was met with Joey sitting on a stool with his back turned to the door strumming away on the guitar that he's used since he was eight years old. He was working hard on a new original song for his crush at school. He decided to take Regan's advice and not go with something so cliché such as flowers and cheesy circle yes or no love notes. Tori was hit with another opportunity to see home much more she could pull from her younger brother about Carlyn and their father. She knocked on the door and Joey had stopped playing and turned to find her standing at the door poking her head in with a smile.

"Hey Tori! What are you doing here?" Joey asked surprised to see her in the studio.

She let herself in and closed the door behind her and strolled up to him.

"I heard you playing and I though it was Tremaine. You sound pretty good! Your dad teach you how to play?" she asked him.

"A little. Before I was adopted I kinda took up guitar as something to do. Before dad became my dad he was my idol. He still is in a way. The first song I learned to play of his was Computer Blue. I learned on the piano first then when Carly and I were at a thrift shop she bought me this really cool acoustic guitar. She said that she saved all her birthday money for me to have it for Christmas. I was just about to turn six that year and that guitar was way too big for me to play at the time but.....she definitely made my whole day that day."

"Oh! Wow......she really did that for you?" Tori asked with an underlying disrespectful tone.

"Well......yeah! Carly always made sure I was taken care of. Before coming here it was just us against an orphanage full of kids. We stayed to ourselves and were our own little family. I almost never forgave her when she stole dad's Teley but I'm glad I did."

The light bulb went on inside of Tori's head and she couldn't keep herself from grinning. She thought she had something at last but was all was about to be short lived.

"Why would you be happy she stole something that didn't belong to her Joey?" She questioned.

Joey chose his words in the best way to describe the situation and how it changed not only her life but his as well.

"Because if I didn't forgive her i'd probably still be back at Caring Hearts waiting for someone to come along and make me apart of their family."

Tori looked at Joey for a moment and could see that he truly cared for his sister and appreciated everything she did for him but what she couldn't understand was why stick u for a thief? In her mind at the end of the day she stole something valuable and should have been punished harshly for it. Joey gave her a small smile and turned back to playing his song when Tori interrupted again.

"Joey. I don't mean to be a bother but.....can I ask you a question?" She asked him placing a gentle hand on his shoulder.

Joey put down his guitar and turned to her with a happy grin.

  "Sure! What's up?"

"What's the real story about your dad and your sister? Do they get along?"

  "Yeah! Why wouldn't they?"

The door to Tori's plan was open. All she had to do was come up with a convincing tale and hopefully if things go according to plan she could walk in and get Prince to cut ties with Carlyn.

"Your dad has been stressing about this whole baby shower and dinner that Carly has planned and I don't know if those two are going at it or what. He's been complaining about the menu and how Carlyn wants it but he wants to change it but she wont let him and I just wanna know what is going on."

Tori knew that what she was doing was twice as bad as Carlyn doing what she did to change the fate of her and Joey's lives but the difference between the two woman was plain and simple. Carlyn was sixteen and mad at the world. Tori is twenty-seven and jealous of the relationship Prince has with his daughter. She was willing to tear them apart at all costs even if that meant to put her own brother against her.

"OH! You mean the other day when they were sitting in the atrium! That was just them in their usual disagreement on everything that has to do with the new baby coming. You should have seen the look on dad's face when Carlyn said that she was going to have headphones on her stomach and have a Michael Jackson playlist on a continuous loop. Dad was so irked! It was hilarious! Don't worry if you hear those two going at it every once in a while its all in good fun. Those two have been doing that since the day they met. It's just how they are. No worries dad is fine. If anything he's just freaked out about Carly overdoing it now that she could be high risk."

The spark of curiosity was ignited once more and Tori's eyes were wide with even more questions.

"High risk? Why? Is the baby ok?" Tori asked.

Joey was about to fill Tori in when there was a knock on the studio door.

"Hey hey nephew!" Andre said opening the door and stepping inside the room.

"Hey uncle Dre! You're here early! I thought we weren't going to the movie until later on today." Joey replied excited to see his uncle.

"Well I talked to your old man and he said it was cool to take you out for lunch before hand. Let you actually eat meat for a change. Wanna grab a burger?" Andre asked him

"FINALLY! REAL FOOD!" Joey exclaimed as he stood up from the stool and grabbing his book bag.

"I know! All this tofu and whatever else he's into ain't good for my growing little man.  Well.....you're not all that little any more but you get my drift." Andre giggled.

"I'm definitely not a little kid anymore. I'm into girls now!" Joey joked as he gave Tori a wink before leaving the room.

"I so didn't wanna hear that dude." Andre groaned with a laugh.

Tori waved to the two of them as the door came closed behind Andre. There she sat all alone in her thoughts of what Joey meant when he said that Carlyn was high risk. She got up from the stool she was sitting on and left out of the studio and went up to the living suite with her thoughts racing. Nothing was going the way she had hoped and that this point trying to get any information from Tremaine would have been a lost cause. There was nothing else she could do or say to get something on Carlyn. Tori was becoming frustrated and plopped down in the desk chair in the master bedroom in front of Prince's desk letting out a loud huff. Twisting her body back and forth in the chair her eyes fell onto the closed laptop that was sitting under a file of papers labeled tour schedule 2008 on the tab. Tori moved the file off of the laptop and opened it to find it locked and she didn't know the password. The only thing shoe could do was stare at the screen in confusion.

"This place is a damn puzzle!" She moaned out to herself.

Tori went back to the file and thumbed through the hefty stack of papers and documents when there was something that seemed odd and out of place. It was receipt for a rehab center. Tori was aware of her husband and his younger sister's estranged relationship when he decided to help her fight her addiction and get clean but the name of the patient wasn't that of Tyka Nelson. It was a name that was never more intrigued to find.

"Private rehabilitation for Carlyn Nelson? Seems like daddy's little angel had gotten into a little trouble and daddy had to bail her out! I knew you weren't the little princess he made you out to be." She exclaimed with a sinister smile on her face.

Tori folded up the invoice and tucked in down inside of her bra and left the room. Plan A was a complete bust for her but with the upcoming dinner Plan B was about to be put into place. Tori was determined to get what she felt was hers and She was finally about to succeed.
