Chi woke and sat up to find she was still in Kanato's room. She rubbed her eyes and yawned. Kanato wasn't beside her. Maybe he was already up. School would start soon but the sun had only just set so she had a little while. She needed to fond Yui, she needed to know of she was alright. She shouldn't have stayed here last night but she couldn't leave Kanato in the state he was in.

"Good morning Chi." Said Kanato as he appeared by the side of the bed. There was a gentle smile on his face and Teddy was once again in his arms.

"Morning. Are you okay now?"

"I'm fine." Chi got up out of the bed and stretched.

"Well thank you for letting me stay last night but I should go get ready for school." She said walking towards the door. She turned to look back at Kanato who smiled at her. He seemed to be in a really happy mood, was that to do with her? She shook the thought off and closed the door behind her. She sighed and began to head for Yui's room. When she got there she knocked gently on the door. After a few minutes it flew open and Yui rushed out and hugged her.

"Oh Chi I'm so sorry about last night." She said quickly.

"Um...it's okay." Chi said not really understanding why she was being so clingy all of a sudden. "I'm sorry for not telling you."

"No, no that's fine. I understand why you didn't tell me or Father. I get it but I love you either way."

"Okay...great...Yui did something happen?" Yui looked up at her sister.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that last night I came to check if you were alright and your room was empty and the balcony doors were wide open. Where did you go?"

"Come inside." Said Yui pulling her sister into the bedroom and shutting the door behind her. Yui took her sister by the hand and lead her to the now closed balcony doors. "Last night I woke up from a bad dream and I was looking outside and I saw a woman. It was the same woman I saw on the first day that we got here."

"The one that you saw and then if made your chest hurt?"

"Yeah that's right. The same thing happened last night. The woman was in a purple dress and she had long purple hair but I don't know who she was." Purple hair? Chi questioned her mind immediately travelled to Kanato. Could it be..? No she was dead but could it still be some kind of relation of his?

"What happened after you saw her?"

"I'm not really sure. I collapsed and when I finally woke up I was under the castle in some kind of sewer and Ayato was there." Chi was listening to Yui talk when a very potent smell hit her. It hit her so hard it felt like she had just ran into a brick wall face first.

"Are you bleeding?" She said knowing that it smelt like blood. Yui lifted up her finger to show a rather deep cut on the end of her finger.

"Oh yeah I sort of cut it last night." She said looking at it. Chi was looking at it too, she couldn't take her eyes of the red liquid that was coming out of her finger. It smelt so good, it was making her mouth water and her throat was dry. Dry in a way that could only be soothed with the taste of blood. Her gums started to hurt again. Yui looked up at her sister and saw the strange look on her face. "Chi?"

"We should treat that. I'll go and get some stuff to clean it." Chi said already heading for the door. She was scared of the thoughts that were running through her head. She was terrified that she was going to hurt Yui.

"O-okay." Yui said watching her sister leave. Chi leant against the door breathing hard, her gums were still killing her. She didn't understand what was happening to her. She put a finger in her mouth and when she pulled it back out it was covered in blood. She had cut it on something sharp. She ran to the bathroom and shut the door. She stood in front of the mirror and lifted shaky hand towards her face. Please don't let it be true, she thought. Then she slowly lifted the sides of her mouth away revealing her white teeth and...fangs. She almost screamed but didn't and toppled back onto the floor. She felt like crying it couldn't be true. It wasn't even possible for someone to grow fangs like that. She was human, she was not a vampire but she couldn't deny the fact that she was desperate to drink Yui's blood. She was a danger to her own sister. What if there came a time when she couldn't control herself anymore? She might hurt Yui. Kanato appeared standing in front of her. He tilted her head to the right and looked at her.

"Chi what's wrong?" He asked. Chi felt relief at seeing him.

"I-I don't know. I don't know what I am." She said and looked down at the blood that was pouring down her finger. Then she looked back up at Kanato and held her finger up to him.

"I need to know if my blood taste any different from last night."

"Your asking me to drink your blood?"

"Yes. Please I need to know. Something is happening to me and I don't understand what it is. Please just taste it if anything." Kanato bent down and took her hand and stuck her finger in his mouth. Chi watched as he licked all the blood off her finger. Then he pulled it out of his mouth and looked at her.

"It does taste different. It is still sweet but there is a feeling of great power to it as well." Chi sighed. What was happening to her? The door to the bathroom swung open and Ayato came into the room.

"Hey black beauty, Reiji wants to see you." Reiji! She reappeared in her head. If anyone knew anything about what was happening to her it would be him...
