Chi walked around the empty mansion looking for Yui. Then had got back from school not too long ago and they had just had dinner. Chi had had a bath and she though she would go and talk to her sister. She had been thinking a lot about what she said yesterday, about her not being there much. She was right, since they got there she had spent more time with Kanato than her. That was wrong so she thought that she and Yui could play a game of cards of chess together but she couldn't find Yui anywhere. She hadn't been in her room and it seemed seem like she planned on coming back any time soon. Chi opened the door into the game room and stuck her head through the door.

"Yui?" She asked hoping for a response but none came. She sighed and then she spotted Shu sleeping on the sofa. He had one hand over his shoulder and the other rested on his chest. His face was buried into his arm and his breathing was softly. Chi spotted a blanket on the chair in the corner of the room. She couldn't leave him sleeping like that. She crept in the room, being careful not to wake him. She got the blanket and gently placed it over him. He didn't seem to wake up and she turned to leave but then felt someone grab her wrist. She saw Shu had held of it but his eyes were still closed.

"You and your sister are both as stupid as each other."

"Excuse me?" Chi said feeling a little offended.

"You both reach out to me without even thinking about it. It's almost as if your begging me to drink your blood."

"That's not it at all." Said Chi angrily, pulling her wrist from his grip. Shu was surprised that she actually managed to break free from his grip. It had been the same grip he used on Yui yesterday and she had complained that it hurt her it was so tight. Chi however didn't act like it even bothered her and easily broke free. He opened his eyes and looked over at her. Very slowly he sat up.

"So then why place a blanket on me? Are you telling me your just trying to get on my good side? Were you hoping that if you were kind to me I would maybe give you a kiss, like Kanato would?"

"No, how do you even know about that?"

"Because I've seen it. He treats you like a dog and like a dirty little girl you seem to enjoy it."

"I do not enjoy it."

"It seemed like you did when you slept with him last night."

"H-have you been watching me this whole time?"

"Not the whole time that would be too much effort. I just see a few things. You've done something not many people have been able to do. You got me motivated only just a little."

"And why exactly are you motivated to stalk me?"

"Because your different."

"Yeah, I'm getting that a lot."

"There's something sleeping inside you and that thing is waking up."

"What is it?" She asked him. Shu sighed and closed his eyes.

"If I knew that I wouldn't be following you and trying to work it out for myself. Perhaps if I tasted your blood it would give me a better understanding out your situation."

"No." She said bluntly.

"Do you want to find out what you are or don't you?"

"I do but Kanato..."

"Don't worry about that little psycho, you can have much more fun with me."

"No, I don't want that." Shu smiled seductively at her.

"If you don't want it then why lead me on?"

"I did not lead you on."

"You gave me a blanket."

"That's just being nice. Any descent person would have done that. There is a big different between leading someone on and showing common courtesy."

"Whatever. You can keep denying it or you could get over here." He lean forward and grabbed her wrist. He forcefully pulled her towards him and turned her around. Chi ended up sitting on his lap with her back facing the back of the sofa. Shu moved her hair out of the way so that he could see her neck. "Your skin is even paler than Yui's. It's like a fresh layer of snow on a winters day, soon to be splatter with her scarlet red colour of your blood." He moved forwards and opened his mouth revealing his fangs. Chi knew she couldn't stop him, not now so she closed her eyes as he sank his fangs into her neck. Chi could hear as her blood left her body, she could hear him gulping it down. She could feel herself losing blood rapidly, she felt weaker. Shu removed his fangs from her neck and looked up at her. "There's something wrong. Something that's powerful and not human."

"Is...it vampire? Please say that's it's not."

"I don't know what it is and I don't really care." Shu said as he laid back down and Chi stood up quickly, moving away from him so that he couldn't grab her again. "Relax I don't want any more of your blood. I've had enough, now leave me alone so I can go back to sleep..."

Chi walked through the garden of roses. The moon was only a very thin slither tonight, hardly glowing like it had the other night. Where was Yui? She asked her self and then she smelt it. The sweet smell she had smelt on yesterday on Yui. It was Yui's smelt. She sniffed the air in the cool night breeze. She followed the inviting smell all the way to the room where Kanato's dolls were stored. Why was Yui in there? Her eyes widened as she put two and two together. Kanato wouldn't...would he? Chi began to panic and she rushed towards the door when suddenly it opened and Kanato came out of the room.

"What did you do?"

"Nothing. Teddy and I were interrupted, although she didn't seem too keen to become one of my dolls."

"No one in their right minds is going to be keen on becoming one of your dolls Kanato."

"Oh Teddy, Chi is angry with us. She must love Yui much more than us."

"It's got nothing to do with that. You just nearly killed my sister. How would you like it if I tried to kill Ayato or Raito?"

"Be my guest. You would be helping me greatly. Actually that's not a bad idea actually. Kill them both for me and then I will believe that you love me." He said then walked past her leaving her alone...
