Chi sat in her room on her bed looking down at the photo of her when she was a young child. School had finished not so long ago and Reiji had told her that Arnoldo Kurosawa would soon be here. When he does all eight of them were to go to the game room where they were to talk with him. Chi was nervous, he was to tell her about herself. About her last, he knew something but Chi wasn't sure if she was really ready to know. She wanted to know but at the same time she didn't. It was confusing. What if it turned out that she really was a danger to Yui? If that was the case then she would have to leave and get as far away from her as possible. It would be painful for her and Yui but Yui safety is more important.

"What is that?" Chi snapped out of her daze to see Kanato in front of her, clutching onto Teddy like always. She sighed and looked back down at the photo.

"This is the photo Yui and I found inside my Father's dairy." Kanato moved closer to her and sat down on the bed. "It is me when I was a baby."

"You are covered in blood." Kanato pointed out.

"I know...but I don't know why...or who's blood it is, but I have a feeling that by the end of the night I will know."

"Are you scared?" Kanato asked her. Chi looked up at him. Scared? Was she scared?

"I...I guess I am. I'm scared he will tell me that I'm dangerous...I don't want to endanger Yui." Kanato held Teddy out towards Chi.

"Here." He said simply. Chi's eyes widened in shock.

"Y-your giving me Teddy?" Kanato nodded slightly.

"When I am scared Teddy cheers me up, he is so cute it's only natural." Chi smiled warmly at him. She gently took Teddy in her arms and held him how Kanato often did.

"Thank you." She said. Holding Teddy did make her nerves calm down a little but she assumed most of that was because Teddy had Kanato's scent all over him. That was another thing she had noticed. She was beginning to recognise the brothers by their scent. When she was walking around the house she could smell their faint scents. She could tell where they had been as their scent lingers there for a while even after they had gone. It was the same with Yui's only hers was much stronger and Chi was much more drawn to it.

"It seems like Kanato's taken a liking to little Bitch." Said the voice of Laito as he appeared sitting behind the two on the opposite side of the bed. Chi didn't need to look to know that Ayato was also in the room, leaning against the wall behind them. Kanato didn't even glance at his brothers, he only looked at Chi as she held Teddy gently in her arms whilst looking down at her photo. There was suddenly a knock on the door and Chi's eye instantly travelled up. It opened at Yui stepped into the room. Her intoxicating smell flooded into the room, Chi felt her gums begin to hurt like they did before. Yui saw the brothers and her sister who was holding Teddy with Kanato next to her.

"What are all of you doing here?" She asked with a curious voice.

"We do not need a reason to enter this room." Ayato replied coldly, Yui looked down at the floor. Chi felt anger rise up inside her at Ayato's harsh tone towards her sister but she didn't say anything. It wasn't like her and Yui noticed this too. She glanced at her sister who was looking at the floor. Chi brought her tongue to the roof of her mouth and felt two sharp teeth there. She sighed inwardly, she knew it. Yui's smell was driving her insane with hunger.

"Chi? Are you okay?" Yui asked nervously. Chi nodded, not wanting to open her mouth incase her fangs were revealed. Yui felt sad at her sister cold responses. She knew that the distance that Chi had put between them was for her own safety but she wasn't scared of her sister. She knew Chi wouldn't hurt her, the only problem was that Chi didn't trust herself. Yui couldn't imagine what she was going through. Yui took a step closer to Chi but stopped when her sister suddenly stood up from the bed. All eyes were on the black haired girl as she turned and gently placed Teddy back on Kanato's lap. Chi smiled warmly at him and then looked at Yui. Yui waited for her to say something but Chi just walked past her, leaving the room and heading outside...

Once Chi was outside she took a deep breath in and out. She hadn't been breathing right since Yui had entered the room. She didn't want to smell Yui's blood because the more she did the more she wasn't to drink her own sister's blood. Chi wiped the wet tears that poured down her face. Chi stood in front of the beautiful white roses of the Sakamaki's house and silently cried. She knew now that what Laito had said yesterday was true, it was becoming harder and harder to fight her own instincts. She didn't think of Yui's as prey but her body did, it was telling her to feed and every minute it was becoming harder to refuse. The human food she was eating in the evenings was not helping at all. It never filled her up, she was still hungry...thirsty was more like it. No amount of human food could quench her thirst. She had come to that realisation. Chi felt inside her mouth to find that her fangs had not gone like they had the other day. She thought if she could no longer smell Yui then they would vanish but they hadn't. They had stayed this time. Chi felt herself cry a little harder, did that mean what Reiji said might happen was true? That she was now fully a vampire? No that couldn't be it. She still felt as human as ever...apart from the dry throat that seemed to be quenched by blood only.

"Teddy look Chi is crying." Said Kanato appearing beside her. Chi didn't jump or flinch, instead she just wiped the remaining tears and took a deep breath calming herself. She looked at Kanato.

"Sorry for leaving like that...I just can't be near Yui right now."

"We understand." Said Kanato. "But it upsets us to see you crying. Please don't do it."

"Right...sorry." Chi said with a weak smile. Kanato reached for one of the white roses and plucked it from it's bush. The thorns cut deep into his skin and his hand began to bleed, drenching the white rose in red blood. The smell filled Chi's nose and she bite down on her tongue to stop herself from lunging at him. First Yui and now Kanato too? What kind of monster was she? Kanato held out the blood drenched rose towards her.

"Here." He said. Chi slowly took it from him and then froze as a single drop of Kanato's blood landed on her hand. She stared at it with wide eyes and an uncontrollable thirst. "It's okay." Kanato said noticing the struggle she was going through. Chi tore her eyes away from the blood and looked at him. "Would you like a taste?" He said holding up his cut hand towards her.

"N-no." She lied looking at the floor. "I-I can't."

"But you're hungry. Human food will not quench your thirst now. A vampire must have both human food and blood to be satisfied."

"Still I-I can't...I'm not a vampire."

"It would seem that Chi doesn't like me enough to drink my blood Teddy."

"N-no, it got nothing to do with that...honestly."

"Then prove it." He said looking her in the eyes with his hand still close to her face. Chi sighed and gave into her instincts. She took Kanato's bleeding hand and gently licked the blood of his finger. The flavour instantly exploded in her mouth. It was warm as she swallowed and travelled down her throat. It was better than anything she had tasted before. Chi licked more from his hand becoming more interested and obsessed with the taste every second. Kanato eventually pulled his hand away leaving Chi looking after it like a puppy that had had it's bone taken from it. Kanato laughed at her expression and leaned in closer. "You really are adorable." He said planting a small kiss on her lips before walking back into the house...
