"Bro, can you ask your Private Investigator if he can work on finding my friends?" I suddenly asked Romeo the next day when we were relaxing in the entertainment room.
For typical guys, PS3 and games are their past times. But, for us, a good movie is.
We have our own kind of game. And, I think, you already know what that is.
Missions, guns and some booze in between.
We're not violent. We're only doing it as part of our mission in the Secret Service Agency.
I never expected myself to be part of that of group but I became one of them when I met an old friend back in the Highschool days.
The guy, whom we call as Bullet, is the right-hand of our Boss.
I came to know Boss Wheel when Bullet led me to him. He was kind enough to take me in because I was drunk and unable to go home.
Before both my parents passed away, I was always scolded because I never made it home sober and in a conversational state.
That was due to my asshole friends. Consider them bad influence. But, at that moment, I was happy.
I have some people whom I felt at home with.
But, when things got bad, I got to know their true colors. They were just there when everything's all fun and rainbows.
When storm got in the way, they ran away and left me alone.
That was how my childhood story went.
"Bakit mo naman bigla naisip yan? Namimiss mo na childhood sweetheart mo, 'no?" Romeo remarked in a teasing voice.
I threw a couple of popcorn on him and he just laughed.
"Oo na, tol! Para sa lablayp mo! Kesa naman sa kung kani-kanino ka dumidikit na hindi ko mawari kung bakit kailangan pang umabot sa puntong may pagpapalit ng personalidad kang ganap!" Romeo exclaimed, the sound of the movie we were watching faded in the background.
"Para namang hindi mo alam ang dahilan kung bakit ko ginagawa lahat ng yon." I sighed and chewed on a handful of popcorn.
"Yeah, I know." Romeo made a face and sipped on his beer. "So, ano na pala tatawag ko nyan sayo pag nasa labas tayo?"
My brow furrowed as that thought occurred to me.
Oo nga naman. Leo knew me as Tonette in the dark side of business.
But, what will people call me in daylight if I have to cover my tracks?
"Trina? Trixie?" I asked unsure and stared aimlessly at our huge flat screened television.
"Masyadong malayo sa real name mo, tol." Romeo shook his head and leaned his chin on top of his left knuckles. "Hmmm.. Jesstoni.. Jenifer, Jessa, Jessica! Right! Jessica na lang, tol!"
My eyes glinted at the sound of the name.
"Gusto ko yan. Hindi malayo sa totoo kong pangalan." I nodded in approval. "Alright, say hello to Jessica!"

The next day, as I was walking downstairs to have my breakfast, I saw Romeo talking to someone over the phone.
"-Oo, pre. Sige na, Zay. Pakihanap naman 'tong Amanda Catalin. Let me know if you have found something about her.."
Romeo's back was turned to me on the couch and he even chuckled after a short pause and talked again.
"- Gago! Masaya pa ako sa buhay ko! Ang sa pinsan ko ay para sa kanya! Hindi ko pa lang nahahanap ang para sa akin - Hahahha! Sira ulo!-"
My forehead creased and continued to make my way towards the dining area and found two sets of plates and a typical breakfast for the two of us: bacons, sunny side-up and a freshly brewed coffee with lots of rice.
Our energizer to start our weekend morning.
Romeo must have heard my footsteps when he turned to face me. He gestured for me to wait for him before I dig in our food.
"O sya, nagugutom na mga halimaw ko sa tyan! Daldal mo, Zayden Vaughn Rayland! Yung pinapahanap ko, pre ha!-- " Romeo chuckled again and started to stand and walk towards where I am currently at.
"Alright! Hang out, soon! Thanks, bro!" Romeo grinned and gave me a thumbs up sign before hanging up.
"Who's that?" I asked and sat on my usual spot, at the end of the table.
"That was my college buddy, Zayden Rayland. We're good friends." Romeo explained and forked on the bacon before placing it on his plate. He grabbed the ketchup and poured a generous amount of it on the side.
"Okay.." I said in anticipation and chewed on my food.
" He's a mafia associate." Romeo simply added as if it's the most natural thing in the world.
I almost choke on my food and glared at him. "Gago! Mafia? You know what we are doing, dude! That is a conflict of interest! We protect people and yet you are friends with one!" I couldn't help but exclaim at him in disbelief.
"It's not what you're thinking. Zayden works with mafia soldiers and capos on criminal enterprises. Believe me, they are the good ones." Romeo said assuringly.
I sighed. Ano pa nga ba.
"Don't make me regret asking you for help, Romeo." I said and stared at him.
"Believe me, hindi mangyayari yun." He winked and we continued eating.
