Thirty Five

3rd Person's POV

Things happened around the four friends that they barely had time to hang out.

Toni being busy with the law firm, Amanda at the HR department of Park, Olivia with her kids and Leni struggling with her abilities.

Leni was able to find out about being childhood friends with Olivia when they first met. (A/N: To know more about Leni and her abilities, please read first, Dream of Me, before this.)

It was only recently when the four friends knew about each other's past which led them to finding out the truth about their identities.

"Opo, Sister!" Olivia grinned as she stepped out of the Happy Smiles Orphanage.

It was already past three in the afternoon and the kids are waiting for her at home. She and Park So Jin, Park So Young's brother, have reconciled and made things easier between them as she had accepted him into their life. (A/N: Get to know Olivia more on the 2nd book of this series entitled If You Were Mine.)

As she was headed to the gate, so were the friends, Jesstoni and Amanda, who just got from the convenience store to buy supplies for the kids.

"Amay! Toniboy!" Sister Nads exclaimed when she saw the two friends.

"Sister!" Amanda exclaimed and hugged her.

"Amay? A-Amanda? Toniboy?" Olivia asked in bewilderment as soon as she saw who the nun was talking to.

"Ay, oo nga pala, hija. Eto si Ayah. Matagal na siyang bumibisita rito sa atin. Kababata niyo rin siya." Masayang pagpapakilala ni Sister Nads sa magkakaibigang hindi makapaniwala sa nalaman nila.

"I guess, hindi pa ako late?" A familiar woman's voice asked as she was smiling when she saw how shocked their faces were at the unexpected revelation.

"Anong late! Hala, magsipasok muna kayo at baka biglang bumuhos ang ulan at magkasakit kayong apat. Sister Diane! Pakitulungan naman akong ipasok ang mga gamit sa loob." Sister Nads exclaimed to the other nun who was coming out of their place. "Madilim na ang langit, mga bata!"

And just like that, rain poured and the four friends stood unbothered.

It was a comfortable feeling having found each other in this crazy world. The homey feeling surfaced and at that point, there is absolutely no better feeling that the person theg have always thought of and prayed for safety every time is just beside them all along.

Sino mag-aakalang childhood friend pala nila ang isa't isa?

"So, Amay." Olivia whispered in disbelief.

"Yes, Ayah?" Amanda teased, raindrops on her face and she was grinning.

"Took you guys too long to figure it out." Leni chuckled and began to sneeze.

The four friends began sneezing too and they laughed as they went to the orphanage to seek shelter from the rain.

"Nice meeting you, Toniboy." Leni laughed and Toniboy blushed. "Or is it still, Jessica?"

"So, alam mo?" Toniboy asked in shock. She nodded. "Bakit hindi mo sinabi! Hirap na hirap akong magpanggap ha!"

"Sino ba kasing nagsabi sayo na magpanggap ka!" Amanda added glaring at him.

"Sorry na." Toniboy smiled sheepishly at them. Then, he stood up. "Mahuling magpalit ng damit, pangit!"

"Oy! Teka! Andaya!" The girls protested as they struggled to stand from sitting down at the staircase.

"Wag tumakbo, mga hija!" Sister Lucy yelled as the adults rushed to the guest room where extra clothes were stored.
