Marinette/Ladybug POV

We fist-pumped as usual.  There wasn't anything new really.  I went to my balcony and de transformed.  Hoping to get some rest, I laid down on my bed.

"Gosh am I tired." I thought to myself.

Just as I was about to close my eyes, I heard a knock at the window. 

I pulled the covers over my head,"No, Marinette you got this, just go see what's at the window.  It'll be fine.  Hopefully." 

I grabbed a hair band and a brush.  I opened the window, closed my eyes, flung the rubber band out the window and waved the hair brush.  Until I heard a familiar voice,"Marinette, it's ok.  It's just me, Chat Noir."  I opened my eyes and laughed.

"Hey, Chat.  Um what are you doing here?" I questioned after realizing who I was speaking to.

He dished a fake smile,"Oh you know, I'm just checking up on a wonderful girl."

I raised a brow,"Really, Chat.  What's up?"

He sighed,"Well you are wonderful, so I wasn't kidding there."  I blushed lightly.  "But the real reason I'm here is because I just wanted to talk.  It gets kinda lonely where I live."  My heart sank, poor cat.

I didn't realize that he was sad.  Well actually now that I think of it, he did seem down lately.  I felt even worse, I didn't even care to ask about his wellbeing.

We talked for hours.  I even think he forgot about the whole situation.  We calmed ourselves from laughing, the conversation fell silent.  We looked in each other's eyes.  His glowing green eyes, they made me feel something.  I don't know what it is exactly but I knew it felt amazing.

He moved his hand to my hair so he could twirl one of my pigtails.

His miraculous beeped,"Au revoir, princess."  I smiled but then stopped him.

"Wait!  I'll show you out."  I got up and walked, shoulder to shoulder, next to him.

"So um I guess we're here.  At the balcony."  I kissed his cheek,"See you later Chaton."

I went back inside,"Finally I get to lay down on my bed and rest."  Well that's what I thought up until 10 mins later when I received a call from Alya.

"Hey, what's up?"  I said in a tired voice.  Practically shouting into the phone she said,"What's up?  What do you mean 'what's up'?  Oh you know just looking at the picture of you and Chat Noir!  Why didn't you tell me you two were dating?!"  I shot up.

"Ok first, what picture?  Second, we are not dating."  My phone buzzed, she sent a picture of me kissing Chat,"That picture."

"What the?!  Who sent this?!" I screeched into the phone.  She checked the number,"It's an anonymous number."

I huffed,"Great."  She lowered her voice,"So wait, if you guys aren't dating then how come you kissed him on the cheek?"

"It was a goodbye kiss, not a 'I like you kiss'.  Gosh this is gonna be everywhere."

"Why was he there?"  Oh great, more questions, less sleep,"He just came over to talk."  "About?"  She questioned again.

"You know what Alya, I'll call you tomorrow and answer all the questions you like.  Because right now I'm tired and want sleep."

We hung up.  Ok I'm going to sleep, without anymore interruptions.

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing.  I groggily checked who it was, Alya of course.  I yawned and realized that it was 12:36pm.

Omg I slept passed 12:00.  Well I guess I'll get ready and go for a run.

I put some joggers and a shirt on.  Before leaving I grabbed some earbuds and plugged them in, opening my playlist.

I walked to the door and shouted out that I was going for a run.  The first place I thought to run was the park.

I ran a few laps before I started to notice that it had gotten cloudy.  A drop of rain landed on my nose.

"Great." I thought.  I'll have to walk home in the rain, I'll be soaked by the time I get there.

I started walking home.  Then a song came up on my playlist.  It was really mellow and soft.  That's usually what I listen to but this song was different.

It talked about a girl falling in love with someone unexpectedly.  It was just so adorable, even if it were a song that I couldn't run to.  It pretty much was meant for walking in the rain.

The more I listened to it, it actually kinda sounds like....no.  No, no, no, no, no.  I took a moment and leaned against a building.

"Ok, I'm good, I'm good.  There is no way that could be possible.  I mean, I like Adrien, right?"  I shut my eyes and thought for a little while.

I didn't hear anyone walking up to me.  Next thing I know, I feel a hand at my shoulder.  I jumped then turned around to see that it was just Chat.

I punched his shoulder,"You scared me!"  He laughed it off then gave me a hug saying sorry.

He grabbed one of my earbuds out and put it by his ear so he could listen.  I blushed, the line that we were listening to said,"And maybe I might just be in love."

I grabbed the earbud back,"I-uh sorry it's just a song.  I like slow songs."

Oh yeah, such a great recovery Marinette.

He just chuckled.  Well what did I expect him to do.  Kiss me?  Come on, it was the song that said that.  It had nothing to do with my feelings.

"Mari, what are you doing out here it's raining?"  I blinked then realized that I was still outside,"Oh right, well I was going for a run but then it started to rain."  He raised a brow then pulled out an umbrella,"Didn't you check the forecast?"

I blushed feeling dumb that I didn't even think to do that.  "Wait, how come you didn't use your umbrella till just now?"

He shrugged,"I don't know.  I just like the rain."  He opened the umbrella and put it over me.  I smiled,"Chat, do you want to come over and hang out until the rain stops?  We can have hot coco."

He nodded and added,"Hold on."  He then grabbed my waist.  My heart was pounding fast.

We ended up on my balcony,"Thanks but next time warn me before you pick me up and take me across Paris."  He replied,"Implying that there will be a next time.  I think I can live with that."

I laughed and shoved his shoulder.  His smile faded as I backed away,"Sorry Chat, it's just, well haven't you seen it?  There's someone taking pictures of us and stating that we're a couple and stuff like that."

He pulled me closer,"So what?  I've seen it.  I don't mind.  After all, if I had to be called a couple with anyone, I'd want it to be you.  You're wonderful and you also look adorable when you blush."

Great and now I'm blushing.  Trying to change the topic I said,"Thanks, uh haha how about I go get the hot chocolate now and maybe get some towels so we can dry off.

He nodded,"Sure."  I opened the window so we could climb in.  Then went down to get some hot coco and two towels.  My mom and dad were in their room so they wouldn't have noticed if I came in.  I just yelled to them from down the hall that I was back and would be in my room.

I opened the door then saw that chat was looking at my pictures of Adrien.  I ran over took them all down, extremely embarrassed.

I turned around, shut my eyes tight, and looked down, crossing my arms.

He grabbed my shoulder and turned me to face him.  Then tilted my chin up.  My eyes were still closed but I could tell that his eyes were focused on me.  I wanted to see those green eyes so bad but I had to remind myself that I couldn't give in.

He rubbed my bottom lip with his thumb.  I guess I let a tear through.  He wiped it of my cheek and kissed where it's was.

I couldn't help it, I opened my eyes.
