Chapter Twenty-Two

My brother, sisters and I glared across the living room at Draco with such heated passion, I was surprised his head didn't explode. But Draco's smile never faltered while he sat in the arm chair positioned to face the couch. None of us wanted to be near him, so the four of us scrunched together on the couch, uncomfortably but none of us cared. Our parents had no idea what Draco did to me, about how our relationship was a lie because I'm sure if they did, then he wouldn't have been allowed inside our home. We just haven't had the chance to tell them yet, my father had to run off to work right away and our mother ran our to the store for grocery's.

"You have a nice house" Draco said smiling looking around at our large home. We only glared at him harder. "You have a big mouth" I said in the same condescending tone as him. My brother chuckled at my side before standing from the couch, He stretched before laying down on the floor by our feet.

"You all hate me, I don't get why your staring at me right now" Draco said with a raised eyebrow as he leaned back in his chair and crossed his leg over his knee. "If my mom comes home and finds a guest alone, we'll all be grounded for a long long time" I told him as I scooted over slightly into the empty space my brother was sitting in. Draco only chuckled and rolled his eyes at me "How lovely" He sneered looking past me to look around our living room. " Don't be mad because we have a mother that gives a shit" Aurora said loudly from beside me, and I couldn't help the snort that came out of my mouth.

Draco glared heavily at my sister, so hardly it would have scared me had my brother not jumped up. Damian whacked Draco on the back of the head before saying " You best not look at my sister's that way again, or Ill rip your damn eyes right out of that blonde head of yours". Draco gulped before nodding at my angry brother and looking down at his hands. I heard the front door open and instantly jumped up from my seat knowing it would be my mother coming home. She walked into the living room with a couple of grocery bags and smiled at the five of us.

"Hello, Mrs. Soloria would you like some help?" Draco politely asked, making the four of us practically growl at him. My mother was completely oblivious. "That would be lovely Draco dear. you are so sweet" My mother said patting him on the cheek and walking through the room to our large kitchen that connected through an entryway. Draco smirked at the rest of us before strutting out the front door to my mother's car. My mother hated apperating, and preferred the muggle method of transportation when she could. She drove a black Mercedes Benz at the moment.

My mother was was too oblivious to Draco's condescending ways, and I would be damned if he would weasel his way into my family with his lies and deceit. My sisters ran outside to help Draco with the rest of the bags, while i was still standing here fuming at the spot Draco once sat. "Ali, come on" Damian said grabbing my arm and dragging me behind him outside to the car. I groaned and nudged Draco's shoulder hard when he walked past me, dropping several things onto the ground. "Watch where your going" I growled at him passing by him. Damian chuckled and we grabbed the rest of the food from the trunk.

Dinner came quickly, my mother made plenty of food to celebrate all of us being home from school. Too bad there was a rodent sitting across from me. Draco was sitting between Aurora and Andi, neither of whom looked too thrilled. I was pushing some of my salmon around on my plate trying hard to ignore the awkward silence that was looming over my family right now. "This is delicious Mrs. Soloria" Draco said taking a bite of his salad. My mother looked over at him and was practically beaming, her bright white teeth shining for everyone to see. "Thank you Draco, Your so sweet" She said tucking into her own half eaten salad.

I rolled my eyes and slammed my fork down onto my plate causing everyone to look over at me. "Alisanna, what's wrong sweetie?" My mother asked, placing her fork down a lot gentler than I did. I was fuming looking over at Draco who was smiling, and my mother who had been fawning over his manners for the past thirty minutes. " Why didn't you ask me before inviting him to stay for the summer?" I asked with a raised voice. My mother raised her eyes, and I looked away from her and over to my father who was taking a sip of his beer. "I heard from his father that you, Damian and Draco were close friends. I didn't think you would mind" My father said setting his glass gently down on the table.

"We were never friends" Damian said beside me, me and my sisters all nodded in agreement. "Well I'm sorry to hear that, but Narcissa and Lucius are away on business so the boy stays here" My father said firmly. "But daddy, you don't know what he did to me!" I yelled down the table at him. My father quickly looked back over to me with clenched fists, and seeing me upset made him glare over to Draco who looked uncomfortable under my fathers gaze. "What did he do?" my mother asked with worried eyes.

"We were dating for a while, but he lied and was using me because his dad asked him to get close to me" I told my parents, my eyes resting finally on my father who was stroking his chin. "Sir, Ali misunderstood what had been said" Draco said calmly looking between my father and I.

"Ali didn't misunderstand anything, i was with her" Damian said beside me resting his arm on the back of my chair. I gave him a grateful smile before looking back at our father. My father sighed before pinching the bridge of his nose with his fingertips. "Look I promised Lucious I would watch his son for the summer, and as his friend I will do that. Draco just stay away from my daughter, all of them" My father sneered to him before shoving his plate away and leaving us alone.

"I'm no longer hungry, kids please clean this up" My mother said before pushing her own plate away and quickly walking out the door. I sighed happy that my parents believed me, but I wasn't fully satisfied seeing the repugnant Malfoy was still sitting in front of me. "Your in for a shit summer Malfoy, trust me" My brother said before grabbing mine and his plate and walking into the kitchen. My sisters and I glared at him before cleaning up the rest of the mess from dinner, and placed everything in the sink.

It didn't take the four of us long at cleaning everything up, and magically washing the dishes. It was easy seeing as I didn't need a wand and we weren't able to do magic outside of school over the summer. None of us were in the mood to do anything, so after making sure Draco was in his room instead of messing with things around the house, we all turned in for the night. We still never saw our parents after dinner, but I was guessing they had turned in as well.

I fed and watered my owl, and unpacked for a bit before deciding to change into my pajamas and climb into my bed. I could hear my brother softly strumming his guitar from the other side of the wall, and smiled and let it calm me down. My parents may not be happy with Draco staying here, but that didn't mean he was going anywhere. I could only hope it wouldn't be too terrible, but things were different now, the dark lord wanted me as a weapon and for some reason I was feeling like there was a snake in the nest...
