Chapter Thirty-Three

A/N I don't want any comments on facts that are wrong in my story anymore. From this point on, I'm rolling with my own stuff. I haven't read the books in a while, so i cant remember time lines or things, so I'm making up whatever I want. lol

"Get up girl!" I heard someone growl from the door. I looked up from my very uncomfortable position on the cold wet ground, to see Fenrir Greyback standing in the door of my cell. I had been here for months, not even sure exactly where I was to be honest. Yet this mangy mutt had always been the one to come to "Visit" me. Visit meaning toss me a piece of stale bread and make sure I didn't die.

Voldemort hadn't come to see me since I left with him at the ministry. And I was rather grateful for that, although his pet wasn't exactly the nicest person on the planet. I think their sole purpose of locking me in this cold cell was to get me to break, what they didn't realize was that I was broken way before they brought me here. I broke the moment my family and friends were threatened.

"What?" I groaned and rolled onto my back, my hair getting stuck into a puddle. "Hungry?" i asked teasingly, holding my bare arm out to him. He growled and barred his teeth, I smirked knowing I got to him since he wasn't allowed to touch me.

"Don't threaten me girl, I'll gladly scarf you down. Don't tempt me" He said and walked over to unchain me from the wall. Whatever spell they put on this room also prevented me from using any magic, including my abilities. So I was at their mercy. "Do it, I dare you" I said as he tightly wrapped his hand around my wrist and dragged me out of the cell.

This was a first, I haven't been out of that cell in months. I don't even know what the bloody day of the week is anymore! The moment my feet were in the hallway though, I could almost feel the magic coursing through my body, I smiled at the thought that I wasn't defenseless anymore. But i still had to remember that my family could be killed by my actions, so I let the ugly wolf drag me up the flight of stairs without a fight.

"Where are we?" I asked, which only earned me a slap across the face. His claws cutting open my cheek. "Who crapped in your pumpkin juice?" I mumbled as he continued to drag me through whatever building we were in.

At the top of the stairs though I was no longer in the cold wet dungeon, but in what looked like a rather large house. It was being warmed by a fireplace across the room, and a long table sitting in the center of the room. I frowned when i recognized Draco sitting at the table, what I'm guessing was his mother and father sitting on either side of him.

"Ah, she arrives" I heard. That voice. That repulsing voice that made my blood run cold. Voldemort was standing at the head of the table, that sick smile still plastered on his ugly face. "Here I am" I said sarcastically, motioning to the torn pajamas I had been wearing the night at the ministry, that night felt like ages ago to me now.

Fenrir still had a grip on my arm so i turned to glare at him, which in turn sent him flying into the wall. He never got up once he hit the ground. "Such a feisty girl" Voldemort said with a chuckle as he walked around the table full of death eaters towards me. "Isn't that why you brought me here, my ferocity?" I asked with a raised eyebrow as I made the shutters across the room slam shut with a flick of my hand.

"It is, my child" He said, as he stepped forward and ran a long cold finger down my cheek. I tried flinching away but he grabbed my face tightly forcing me to stare into his haunting red eyes. "We have kept an eye on you for a very long time, since you were a baby you see" he told me. I furrowed my brow and focused on what he was telling me. Had he known all this time about these powers I possessed?

"I know you're confused my dear. There was once a fierce species, known as the Telanias. They possessed your powers. The ability to control minds, the ability to communicate and control animals and use magic without wands. I'm sure you've discovered that if you concentrate hard enough, you can shield yourself and others?" He asked me with a raised eyebrow.

I nodded my head. I noticed that in a duel in DADA one day. Nobody wanted to duel with me after noticing my mind went on a protective mode and wouldn't let a spell come near four feet of me. The only reason I haven't used it here is because of my family. I said I would protect them, so that Is what I'm doing. I would do whatever this terrifying man wanted of me to keep them safe.

"We have been trying to find one for ages, and here you are" He said looking me up and down. "The last of your kind"

He let go of my face and took a step backwards, observing me farther. "Such a beautiful girl. Pure blood, exceptional abilities. Soon you will be of age and make a lovely match for one of my followers" He said, motioning to the table full of men behind him. I gulped as I saw a few of them look me up and down and lick their lips. There was no way in hell I was marrying one of these men, nope. I would sooner die.

Voldemort could see the hesitation in my eyes and smiled. "Pure blooded witches of your stature are hard to come by you know? We wouldn't want you off mating with some mudblood scum now would we" He said and had the rest of the people in room in fits of laughter.  I glared fiercely at him as he insulted all of the Muggle borns that i called my friends. My friends that i had tuned out of my brain since coming here. I couldn't risk any weakness, i couldn't risk their safety that way.

"You look disgusting" He said pulling of my dirty brown hair.

"Yeah well, someone forgot to mop my bedroom" I rebuttal with a smirk. "I like you Alisanna" He said and walked back over to the rest of his gang of misfit toys.

"The feeling isint mutual" I said and leaned against the wall behind me. "Did you bring me here to sleep in the puddles downstairs, or do you need me for something?" I asked him.

"We will discuss all that tomorrow. But for now, Draco take her and make her more presentable, perhaps hose her down outside" He said laughing, everyone else of course joining him. Draco however kept a stoic look and walked over to me. "She can stay with you, and I want both of you tomorrow morning" He said.

"Yes My Lord" Draco said before grabbing my arm and pulling me through a door across the hall. He said nothing all the way up the long staircase, the even longer hallway and into a room at the end of the hall. He shut it quietly behind him before pulling out his wand and casting a locking spell on the door.

I got a good look at him, and this wasn't the same boy I dated in fourth year. His eyes were tired, his body was thinner, he was a lot taller too. His grey eyes stood out against his hollow cheeks. "You shouldn't be here" He mumbled and walked away from the door and took a seat at a black leather chair that was seated in front of a black marble fireplace.

The room I saw was his. The slytherin banners, clothes laying on the ground and his unmistakable broom sitting in the corner, all screamed Draco. "Yeah well, I didn't have much of a choice" I told him and sat down on the chair in front of him, the heat from the fire warming my wet clothing.

"I heard you came on your own free will" He said, crossing his leg over the other. I scoffed and crossed my arms over my chest. "I came because my family was in danger, he was going to kill my father and all my friends if I didn't come" I told him. "I wouldn't expect you to understand"

Draco's head snapped up to me and his eyes grew hard, before he stood up and rolled his sleeve up to the elbow, exposing his arm to me. "I don't understand?" he growled. My eyes widened as I saw the dark mark resting upon his pale skin.

"I took this to save my father's ass too, so don't tell me I don't understand Ali!" He yelled before running his hands through his long blonde hair. I actually felt bad for him, something I never thought I would feel for the boy who once broke my heart.

"I'm sorry Draco" I said softly before walking across the room to him. He sighed and uncrossed his arms before turning around to look at me. "No, I'm sorry" he said.

"I shouldn't have snapped at you. And you're going to be here a long time, you know he wont let you leave right?" He asked, with sad eyes.

"I figured. But if he touches one hair on my family's head, I'll kill every death eater I get my hands on"

"You know that's what he wants you for Ali, he's going to brand you tomorrow" Draco told me, holding his arm out so I could get a better look at his dark mark.

"I only guessed when he was screaming at me to join him at the Ministry" I said shrugging.

"How are you so calm about this?" Draco asked "I haven't slept in weeks"

"Because I cant change this Draco, I have been down in that dungeon for more days than I can count. I shut myself off to everything and anyone, I can't let my emotions get in the way"

Draco nodded his head as if he understood. "If its any consolation, Potter and everyone else in Gryffindor   have been beating themselves up since they took you. I wont even get started on your brother. School's been out for over a month now"

"I cant think about them Draco. I told you, I cant let myself get weak while I'm here" I told him.

Draco sighed and shook his head. "You've never been weak Ali. But you have had a long day, the showers in there" He said pointing to an open door across the room. "I'll sleep on the floor"

I nodded my head and made my way to the bathroom for a shower I was more than anxious to take. "Oh, Ali" Draco said, stopping me in the doorway.

"I'm sorry for everything that happened between us. I really do care about you though" He told me. I sighed and walked back over to him. "I forgive you Draco, I wont hold something on you that happened two years ago. We'll probably be seeing a lot of each other now" I told him. I really wasn't going to hold a grudge on him for something that happened when we were fourteen. We were older now, I obviously turned sixteen in the time I was in that dungeon, Draco did too.

"Yeah we will" He said with a soft smile before he bent down and kissed my cheek "Get some sleep, Ali"

I wasn't thrilled when I first saw I was staying at Draco's house. But things were different here than at Hogwarts. We were both stuck here against everything we truly wanted, forced to play the Dark Lord's games. And for that, Draco was the only friend I really had...
