"Would it be too early if I propose to Kong?"

Arthit's question made the four of them who were in the same room froze.

Knott's fingers which were typing on the laptop froze in mid-air, the mirror in Prem's hand which he held up for Tootah to do his makeup fell from his hands while Tootah snapped his head towards Arthit making the lipstick in his hands which he was applying made a mark against his cheek. Bright who was about to bite his burger stopped midway, his mouth still open with his burger near his mouth as his eyes stared at Arthit.

"What?" Arthit asked as he looked at his friends who were looking at him as if he's an alien.

"Did...did I just hear Arthit saying something about proposing?" Tootah gasped.

"I think he did," Prem breathed.

"Are you sure Arthit?" Knott the sensible one among them asked.

Arthit bites his lips as he nodded his head.

"Oh yes!!!! I'm going to attend a wedding dinner soon!!" Bright jumped up from the chair he was sitting on.

"Ai'Bright! You asshole!" Tootah rolled his eyes.

"What!? Its been a while since I attended a wedding okay?" Bright said as he started biting his burger.

Knott just chuckled, he turned towards Arthit, "You really thought through this, right Arthit?"

Arthit sighed, "I did Knott. I know that this might be early but my gut feeling says that I should do this soon. We both have been searching for each other even without our notice, and finally, we're together, we have April with us. Our small family. I just want to introduce the two amazing people in my life to the world. And I'm ready to make it legal."

The four friends just smiled at each other hearing their best friend's words.

"What do you think about Kong? You know what I mean," Tootah asked.

Arthit nodded his head, "He had been telling about how nice it would be if we could get married. It was a random conversation, and it's from that moment that I started to think about it."

"Then it's fixed! We're here for you buddy!" Bright raised his thumb.

"We can ask our boyfriends to keep Kong busy while we prepare for everything!" Tootah started getting excited.

On the day Kongpob reunited with his long time friends, Kongpob got the surprise of his life that his best friends were dating the seniors. Tew dating Knott and Wad dating Prem. Kongpob didn't have any clue that his friends' mate was his Arthit's friends. Since Kong knew that Aim and May were a couple along with Prae and Maprang dating during the University days, his other friend's relationship came as a surprise for him.

That day Kongpob also got a chance to meet Bright and Tootah's boyfriends, Rome and Dave. They get along well.

Arthit also told Kongpob that it was because of that he could easily call Kongpob's friends and ask them to meet. Knott and Prem only got into a relationship a year before so they didn't know about the incident that happened between them and Kong. He only got to know it when Tew saw Kongpob in Arthit's company making the latter ask about it to his boyfriend that Arthit knew it from Knott's mouth about what happened. 

"By the way, when are you planning to propose?" Prem asked.

"I don't know! I'm nervous!" Arthit breathed.

"Arthit Rojnapath is nervous!?" Tootah screamed

"The world is ending!" Bright gasped making Arthit glare at him.

Knott and Prem shook their head watching their friends. They can't deny the fact though, Arthit never gets nervous at things. Even if he does he never shows it or admits it. Even when they had times where the company was at trouble, Arthit was the one who was composed among them, he was soo relaxed that they thought Arthit was having some issues with his head.

"I'm 100% sure that Kong will say yes," Prem said nonchalantly.

"Yes Arthit, even if you walk in front him in your dirtiest clothes and propose him in your messy bedroom with a plastic ring, he'll say yes with his gorgeous smile on his face!" Bright said contently.

Arthit glared at Bright.

"I'm with Bright in this," Prem said.

"Me too!" Tootah raised his hand.

"Even though Bright is a fool, I agree with him in this," Knott chuckled nervously when Arthit looked at him with wide eyes.

"Knott! Not you too!"

Tew looked at Wad who nodded his head. Getting the signal Tew sat closer to Kongpob who was beside him.

"Kong, when are you going to get married?" Tew asked nonchalantly.

Kongpob who was drinking his iced coffee spat it and started coughing. Rome who sat beside Kongpob started patting his back as he tried to control his laughter.

Wad, Tew, Aim, and Rome was working in Arthit's company, ever since Kongpob joined with Arthit as his PA they tried to ignore him to find the correct time to meet their friend. They were in the company canteen having their break while their lovers were in a meeting. Arthit told Kongpob to spend time with his friends so Kongpob didn't join the meeting.

"What the hell, Tew?!" Kongpob glared.

"What? He asked a logical question," Aim said shrugging his shoulders.

Yesterday Knott, Bright, and Prem had told their boyfriends about Arthit planning to propose Kongpob but him being afraid of rejection. So the trio planned to know what would be Kongpob's mindset about the topic.

"I don't know, Tew," Kongpob replied in a low voice.

"What do you mean by you don't know? You guys are soulmates! You already have a beautiful daughter and will soon have more children if I'm not mistaken," Rome pointed out making Kongpob blush.

"And what more do you want? P'Arthit is practically a puppy around you! You just have to tie the knot legally," Rome said.

"Rome is right, Kong. What are you hesitating about?" Wad asked.

Kongpob bit his lips, "I'm not sure if P'Arthit wants it."

"That means you are okay with it!?" Aim asked excitedly.

Kongpob's eyes widened, he looked at his ice coffee as if it was the most interesting thing at the moment.

"That's a yes bro!" Tew chuckled.

"Don't worry about that Kong. P'Arthit would definitely want to be your husband!" Rome chirped.

Wad took out his phone and excitedly types a message to his boyfriend. He's sure that their best friend is going to enjoy what they've planned for him in two days. They want this to be done fast, no more waiting for the couple.

"Thanks, P'Wang," Kongpob smiled softly before he got down the car.

"Are you okay, Nong?" Wang asked seeing Kongpob's lack of energy in his face.

Kongpob shook his head, "I'm okay P. Just that P'Arthit hasn't contacted me today."

Wang smiled, "He went for a meeting right? He'll call you Nong, don't worry. He might be busy."

Kongpob nodded his head. He walked towards his house, took out his keys, and unlocked the door. Kongpob removed his shoes and placed them on the rack. His eyes caught April's rack and he couldn't help but snort, her shoes were placed disorientedly on the shoe rack, some were upside down while the other was about to fall from the rack.

Kongpob shook his head, "This girl, she's becoming more like her Dad these days. Did I even give birth to her?!"

Kongpob arranged April's shoe rack before he walked inside. His breath hitched as he walked into the living room. There were rose petals all over the floor. White and Red rose petals making a path for him into the large garden outside. The glass door to the garden slide for him to walk by, the light darkness of the evening sky was making the candles on either side of the path lit brightly. 

Kongpob placed his office bag on the couch, he couldn't understand what was going on. 

"April! Where are you?!" Kongpob shouted but his voice only echoed through the large walls of the bungalow. 

Kongpob sighed, taking a deep breath he walked through the path. He noticed a piece of paper lying in the middle of the way when he reached the glass wall that he had to pass to get into the garden. 

Kongpob bends down and took the piece of paper and opened it.

You have got the arms I wanted to be wrapped in. You have got the eyes I want to get lost in. You have got a smile I can never resist. You had got the voice I want to listen for hours.

I have decided on you. I want you and only you, Kong.

Kongpob bit his lips, his tears whelming up in the corner of his eyes. He could recognize the handwriting of the person who wrote this for him. There was a photo of him and Arthit hugging attached to the note. He safely kept it in his pocket before he walked through the path.

Kongpob walked forward, there were many pictures of him and Arthit hanging from a string, each pictures bringing smiles to Kongpob. There were even photos of them with April, making funny faces at each other.

Kongpob stopped on his tracks when the path came to an end, there was a small glass stool that had a circle of candles around it. In the middle, there was a photo of Kongpob in his freshman t-shirt during the University hazing activity and another picture of him wearing the first year uniform. Kongpob's eyes widened. He saw a blue envelope below the photos.

When did P'Arthit take these?

He looked around trying to see whether anyone was there but he didn't find anyone. The garden was as big as a park, he remembered Arthit saying it was his parents' anniversary parties used to be inducted here and many people from the company would come.

Kongpob took the envelope and slowly opened it. His breath hitched, he took the metal piece inside the envelope along with the piece of paper.

Kong,

As you know, gears are very important to an engineer. It represents our unity. It's extremely important because you must go through a lot to get hold of it. It's very important that it represents our hearts.

I don't know if you've heard but, the gear is your heart and the heart is your gear. If you ask someone to take care of it, it means you ask them to take care of your heart.

I have been meaning to give my gear to you for a long time Kong, I didn't know when I should do it, I think this is the perfect time for it so here it goes. I'm giving you my gear, my heart, in your hands. Please take care of it Kong. If you accept my gear please turn around.

Kongpob turned his body back, his eyes widened when he saw Arthit standing just a few feet away from him. He was wearing a red suit with a white undershirt, one of the favorite suit Kongpob likes to see Arthit in. He saw the latter smile brightly at him as he walked forward.

"Kong, I know our love story wasn't like a fairy tale. We were both oblivious of each other's presence in our lives until recently. We get to know each other more, but still, we have a long way to go."

Arthit stopped his steps in front of Kongpob, he took the younger's hand in his.

Kongpob could feel his heartbeat fast. He could feel the Alpha's hands slightly shivering. The scent the alpha was letting out pointing out that the latter was nervous.

Arthit placed one of his hands on Kongpob's cheeks and caressed it with his thumb. The latter looked straight into Kongpob's bark brown eyes which were looking at him with anticipation.

"I don't know how to express the love I have for you. You know I'm not good with words but Kong, know that I love you so much that I would like to take our relationship to the next level.

I don't promise you that there won't be hard times in the future, but I'll promise you one thing that I'll always be there for you. I'll always have your back. I'll always be there for this little family you've gifted me.

You deserve the very best, someone who will back you up without limits, let you grow without borders, and love you without end. Will you let me be the one?"

Kongpob bit inside his cheeks, his throat becoming dry as he saw Arthit kneel in front of him, a blue velvet box opened in his hand. A platinum ring inside the box that reflects the light from the candles.

"Will you marry me Kongpob Suttilak?"

Kongpob covered his mouth with both of his hands in excitement. He could feel the tears fall from his eyes as he jumped up in excitement.

"Yes! Yes! Thousand times Yes P!" Kongpob exclaimed through his tears. He pulled Arthit up and hugged him tightly, he needed to know this is real and that this is not a dream. He could feel the excitement and happiness throughout his body. He heard Arthit's small giggles as he tightened his hold.

Arthit lifted Kongpob and spun them around, the younger's laughs spread through the garden.

"I love you, Kong," Arthit said as he set him down.

Kongpob pecked Arthit's lips, "I love you too, P' Ai Oon."

Arthit smiled widely showing his dimples, a smile that Kongpob loved a lot.

Arthit took Kongpob's hand and inserted the ring in his finger.

The sound of poppers and claps startled Kongpob. It was then he started to look at his surroundings.

Arthit and Kongpob's friends were there standing with wide grins on their faces. Some had poppers in their hands while others were clapping their hands.

Kongpob saw Riya walking towards them, he was soon engulfed in a hug by the person who was always there for him.

"I'm happy to see you smile like this Kong, after a long time I'm happy to see you like this."

Kongpob hugged her back, his head laid on her shoulder. This shoulder was always free for him to lean on.

"Arthit is really a good person Kong, I can see it. You both are made for each other," Riya pulled away and placed a kiss on Kongpob's forehead.

Kongpob smiled and nodded his head.

Riya turned towards Arthit who smiled at them fondly, she hugged the latter, patting his back.

"Take care of him. He had gone through a lot, I don't want to see the old Kong again."

Arthit hugged Riya back, "I can't promise that I won't make him cry but I'll promise you that I won't do it on purpose. And if I'm the reason for his tears one day I'll try my maximum to correct myself for him."

Riya smiled wide, nodding her head she parted away.

"I'm excited to tell this news to Aunty and Uncle!" Riya jumped up in excitement making everyone chuckle.

Arthit pulled Kongpob closer as they saw April walking towards them with a smirk on her face.

"Finally I can see my parents getting married!" April exclaimed making everyone laugh.

"Dad, I told you that he'll say yes. Mom, you should have seen Dad's face while you walked down the path, it was hilarious!" April laughed.

Arthit glared at April, "You little brat!"

Arthit tried to catch April who was hiding behind Kongpob making the younger laugh at the father and daughter.

Everyone laughed seeing the small family.

"Come on, stop you both!" Kongpob stopped April from dragging him as a shield.

"Behave April," Kongpob warned. He saw Arthit pulling his tongue out to April.

"You too P," Kongpob warned his now finance.

"What? I didn't do anything," Arthit widened his eyes.

"Yeah, you didn't do anything Arthit," Bright laughed making Arthit turn towards him and glare.

April chuckled, she leaned her face near Kongpob's ear and whispered.

"Mom, I'll give you one year within that time I need a little sister or brother. Deal mom?"

Kongpob's eyes turned wide, he turned his face towards April who batted his eyelashes innocently.

"April!"
