Storming the Castle

*The Next Day. Y/N'S POV*

I woke up pretty early in the morning. Sleeping sucked. I wasn't with Serena, and I sure as hell wasn't at the house. I was really worried about her. I haven't gotten any information on how she is or what she's doing. I've skimmed through most of the books in my room. I walked over to the window to see the guards and scientists standing in there. I tapped on the window, getting their attention.

"Hey, can I get a tennis ball or something? Maybe a game system? I've gone through most if not all of the books in here." I said to them loud and clear. The two guards looked at each other and shrugged. One of them spoke into the microphone.

"We'll bring you a tennis ball, but no gaming system, we know your hacking abilities." He sounded annoyed. He did figure out that I was trying to find a way to hack into something with a game system. Didn't know if it'd work or not, but I would still try. The guard walked out and soon came back. He went through the corridor and opened the door to my chamber. He then smirked, chucking the ball as hard as he could, only for me to catch it. My face went from bored to slightly pissed as I gave the guard the evil eye.

"Thanks.." I said with a serious tone. He was kinda shocked that I caught it and quickly scurried back into the control room. For a long while, I just sat against the wall and bounced the tennis ball against it and caught it repeatedly. After a bit, I got bored. I looked into the window to the control room and saw a guard come through the door to the room. He then went through the corridor and into my chamber.

"You, it's time for your test with SCP-049. Come with me." He said, grabbing my arm. I quickly swiped away.

"First off, I have a name. Second off, don't grab me, I'll follow you myself." He then pulled out his pistol, aiming it at my head. I slowly backed off, putting my hands in the air.

"You are coming with me!" He said with a serious tone. Then, he grabbed my arm more forcefully and almost dragged me out of my cell and out of the control room. After getting out of the control room, we turned left towards the direction of Serena's cell. I then got an idea.

"Hey, can I visit Ser-, I mean SCP-166 for a second? I want to see how she's doing."

"In your dreams. Move along." He said sternly. I sighed as I saw Alina walking towards her cell, dragging a D-Bag along with her. I felt bad for the guy, cause I knew for a fact what was going to happen to him.. I honestly felt even worse for Serena, as she was going to go through what she did back at Site-17 and 19. Alina then went into the control room as another guard went out. The guard and I walked all the way down the hallway and through several doors to end up at the entrance to the Doctor's chamber. The guy used his card to get us in. The control room was slightly different than mine and Serena's. Instead of the door and corridor being on the right, it's in the center. Two guards and two scientists occupied the room. I looked at the four as they looked at me. I simply waved.

"What's goin on guys?" I giggled a bit. The guard groaned in annoyance. He then let go of me, throwing me forward a bit.

"He's your problem now. Call me when he's done with testing. I'm going to go to the breakroom. There's a Fruit Roll-up with my name on it." He said, leaving the room. I laughed really fucking hard. The guards and scientists giggled along too.

"So what's the deal? You want me to talk to the guy?"

"Yeah, that's about it. I think it'd be easier for you to get answers out of him than us since you have your.... ability." One of the scientists pushed up his glasses and looked towards me.

"Alright. Seems simple enough. Anything you want me to talk to him about in particular?"

"Talk about who he is and what is this Pestilence he speaks of." He said.

"Okay. Just open the door. I met him once before, but he chased after my ass, so I ran. He shouldn't be too bad." I looked over at the guard as he nodded.

"We can't do anything to help you if he lashes out at you, so you're on your own if something happens."

"Got it." The guard opened the first door as I walked through. He then closed it and opened the second door. I slowly walked in as the guard closed it. he was standing in the corner, watching me. There was a long silence between us, before I spoke up.

"Uh.... Hi...." I waved to him. He didn't respond. His shadowed eyes stared into mine. I couldn't even see the color due to the mask covering his face.

"How's the wife? How's the family? How's the kids?" I asked him several more questions. I didn't like the silence, so I thought up quick shit questions. He then walked up to me quickly. I backed up into the wall until the beak of his mask was almost touching my nose. I could... See the color of his eyes. They were a very pale blue, almost silver-like.

"Interesting... Have we.... Met... Somewhere before?" The Plague Doctor asked me. His voice was deep and kind of scratchy, but easily understandable.

"Y-Yes. About thirteen years ago, you chased me and SCP-166 down a bunch of hallways at Site-19."

"Ah, I remember that now. It's... strange to see you again, but in an older time." He stepped back away from me.

"Right.... likewise. Look, I have a question."

"What is it?"

"Why did you come after us? I know it wasn't because of me, since I know what I am now. Did Serena have this Pestilence, or was it because of her ability?" I asked him.

"The answer of that.... Is uncertain."

"I see... What is this Pestilence, anyway?"

"The great death."

"Are you referring to the bubonic plague?"

"I haven't the clue of what you speak."

"In the early thirteen hundreds there was a large-scale outbreak of the bubonic plague in France, around 1346 as a fact." I said to him. Thank god I was able to remember shit from when I went to school. He stood silently. I didn't know his emotion, but I knew he was thinking.

"You are truly an intriguing individual. Can I have your name, good sir?"

"My name? My name is Y/n L/n."

"Thank you. I assume you wish to know mine?"

"Sure."

"My name is [Redacted] [Redacted]. It is my pleasure." We shook hands.

"It's good to finally speak with you, and not have to run away."

"Yes... I.... Apologize for that.. For I could not.... Calm myself." Hearing him say that made me realize that it was only Serena's powers making him chase us. She was clean of the pestilence. I smiled happily.

"So I've heard around that you're able to reanimate the dead, is that correct?"

"In a sense, yes."

"How long can they be dead before you cannot reanimate them?"

"I do not know."

"Alright. Look, there's something you have to know. I think something big is coming soon. I'm going to be able to get you tons of subjects for your own tests."

"What is it that you're planning?"

"I'm not planning anything. I can't do anything here, I'm locked up like you." I secretly winked at him. He looked down a bit, then back at me. He sighed.

"Then why bother getting my anticipation up?" He asked in a frustrated manner. I don't think he got it.

"Don't... Worry about it, alright?"

"I will not worry."

"Your time is up. Come to the door and wait there. SCP-049, go to the far wall and do not move." The guard from inside the control room ordered us.

"It seems that this is farewell, Y/n." The Plague Doctor said to me.

"It does, but worry not. I will see you again."

"Until then..." He walked backwards and placed his back against the wall as I stood at the door. The door opened as I went through it. Before it closed, I waved to him as he slowly nodded to me. I went through the first door after it opened, putting me back into the control room.

"You gave us a lot of valuable information in there. Thank you." The scientist said as the guard closed the first door.

"No problem. Now, can I go back to my cell? I wanna reread the book about how to bring the Soviet Union back." I said. The guard called in the other guard that took me here earlier. After a bit of waiting, the guard came in and took me back to my cell.

*Meanwhile in Serena's Cell. Serena's POV*

"We are getting preparations ready for the test with SCP-166 and a D-Class personnel." Alina said, holding the man's arms tightly. I was still in my cell. I looked through the window to see my officer holding a subject for testing. I haven't had to deal with a test since the day Y/n broke me out of containment. With my new clothing that the ever-thoughtful Dr. Bright made for me.

"So, why am I going in there? Won't I get killed?" The D-Class asked.

"That's the point." Alina said. The first door opened and the man walked through as it closed. He stood in the corridor and looked at me through the glass. He didn't really didn't do anything. He just smiled and waved at me. Seeing him do that made me go back to when I was a kid and Y/n just stood there at the window and waved. He didn't know what he was getting himself into and he just stood there with that warm smile he always had. I remember how surprised I was when I realized he didn't react to me at all. The look on my face was probably crazy. I shook my head and regained my composure, waving back to the man on the other side of the window. I smiled back at him.

"Hello. What's your name?" He asked me. I stood in thought for a second before answering

"Serena, and yours?"

"Jordan, Jordan Trace."

"It's nice to meet you, Jordan."

"You too, Serena. "

"So how is it you became a test subject?" I tilted my head in question.

"I... Got put into death row because I blew a lot of shit up, including people." His smile turned into a frown.

"God forgives all, even the sins that you have committed."

"Thanks..."

"How do you feel?" I asked him.

"I feel fine, honestly. I don't feel anything wrong with me. "

"I'm glad." I smiled at him as he did the same.

"SCP-166... Please remove your clothing." Alina ordered me. I looked from the window to the control room, to the man. Both of our smiles faded into frowns.

"Do I have too?" I asked her.

"Yes. Its an order, you must comply."

"Y-Yes ma'am."

"S-Serena what are you doing?" Jordan backed up against the corridor wall, his eyes widening. I knew he was afraid of what was going to happen to him.

"I'm sorry, Jordan... but.. I must follow orders." Tears started forming in my eyes as I started taking off my shirt and pants. I knew this was a part of the plan but.... but...  I felt horrible. The pain of indirectly killing another person came to my heart again after all these years. Jordan immediately started banging and scratching on the window, trying to get into my chamber. I cried and cried, the banging and scratching being drowned out by the crying and the memories back at Site-17 and 19. I then heard two gunshots, the body falling on the ground. Blood splattered against the back wall and the window. I felt alone.. isolated...

"Get someone to clean that up." Alina said into her walkie. Soon, someone came and put the man in a body bag, then another came and cleaned up the blood. Hatred upon myself that I once had came lingering back to me. I wanted Y/n.... To tell me I'm still normal...

*Y/N'S POV*

I kept rereading the books I had on my bookcase and played with the tennis ball the guards gave me. I checked the window to the control room every so often to see the guards changing shifts and positions. I could tell that it was almost time. I hated the fact that Serena had to endure an unplanned test with a D-Boi, but... We had to keep everything according to the plan. I look into the window one last time to see Alina walk in and another guard walk out. I looked at her and nodded as she did the same. She pulled out her suppressed pistol and shot the camera in the room, killing everyone else in the room next. She quickly opened my doors and I ran out into the control room.

"God it was so boring in there." I said to her.

"I bet."

"So... How did Serena handle the test subject?" I asked her. She looked away and sighed before looking back at me.

"She didn't take it well. It started off okay, until I told her to take her clothes off." As I listened, my smiled turned into a worried frown.

"And..."

"You should know the rest."

"Damn.... Fuck... This wasn't supposed to happen." I said putting my hand to my forehead.

"She'll be alright. When we get her, just calm her down. Another one of the officers should have taken down the main camera systems along with the person in the security room."

"Good. We wont have to worry about being spotted by cams. Let's get these bodies in the chamber and head out." I grabbed one and dragged it through the corridor as she dragged the other two along with me. We set them in funny positions to mock any guards that come in the room. She quickly cuffed me and we walked out of the control room and into the hallway, the control room door closing behind us. She put me in front of her and pushed me along to the right. Bright said something about there being a simpler way to let all of the SCP's out at once; A main control unit for all of the doors. Since there aren't as many SCP's here than there were in Site-19, they were dumb enough to have a system where you could open all the doors manually in one place. We trudged along the hallways, passing guards who ignored us. After the walk, we found a door with a sign designating it to be the main control room to the facility. I looked at Alina as we needed a card to get in. She pulled out a card. It was a really high class card to get in. We looked around to see no one coming in.

"How did you.."

"Don't worry about it." Alina swiped the card and the door opened. On the inside, a guard sat in a chair, watching over the system. Alina quickly shot the man right through the ears. His head hit the system and his body fell off the chair and onto the floor. We quickly went in and shut the door behind us. When we walked in, I looked at the large device. It had a lot of switches, knobs, buttons and a couple screens.

"Hmmm. Interesting." I looked over everything. It needed a password, a couple other switches needed to be turned on in order to be able to unlock every SCP cell in the facility.

"You think you can hack into this and start a breach?" Alina looked at me.

"Pshh. This shit's gonna be easy clap." I said as I started working my magic. After a bit, I was in. I wiped the sweat from my forehead as I sighed.

"You finished?"

"Yep. Damn that was fun. Alright. Are you ready, Alina? After I flip this switch, shit's going to go down harder than the fall of the Soviet Union." Alina perked a smile on her face and giggled, which then turned into a hardy laugh.

"Let's get your son, back." She said. I nodded and flipped the switch, opening up every cell on site. The emergency lights and alarms blared. I held my fingers up:

Just then, I heard screaming and the sounds of death from afar along with the sounds of gunshots. Alina shot the system with her pistol several times, then spat on it.

"Fucking foundation." She muttered in Russian under her breath.

"Now that shit is out and rampaging around the facility, you gotta keep your guard up. That means especially 173, 096, and 682."

"Don't forget about 049."

"He.... He wont be a problem." I winked at her. She handed me her pistol as she took out her primary firearm, the good old P90. I took off the silencer and shoved it into my pocket. Alina opened the door and I walked out first, aiming my gun to the left as she did the same to the right. The coast was clear.

"Alright, Let's go get your wife."

"We're not married."

"You two have been living together for 13 years and had a child. You two should be married."

"Maybe once this shit is over, we could get married or something."

"If you survive...."

"Right..."

"Let's move forward." She slowly moved forwards as I had her six, looking at the door behind her. She opened the door as two guards came running down the hallway. She quickly capped their heads, their bodies falling like dominoes on top of each other. We kept going forward through the hallways until we reached Serena's cell. We opened the door to find the two guards standing there, watching over her. I quickly jumped the one on the left, knocking him down. I then shot him several times in the chest. Alina grabbed the other by the head snapping his neck. I looked in the window to see Serena hugging her legs as she sat on her bed. Her clothes were on the floor, a couple feet away from her bed.

"Yo, hold the fort, will ya?" I said as I ran by Alina and went into her chamber. I walked in the room, and I felt the same way I felt since the last time I was in a cell of hers.. She quickly looked up at me, her eyes puffy and red from crying. I sighed and held my arms open as she immediately got off of the bed and hugged me tightly. Her head went right into my neck.

"There, there. It'll be alright."

"Y/n....."

"Hm?"

"Am I still.... Normal?" She looked up at my face, tears still in her eyes.

"Of course you are. I promise."

"I love you..."

"I love you too." I leaned down and kissed her lips softly, her slowly kissing back. After a couple seconds, we pulled apart and smiled.

"So, you released all of the other's right?" She asked me.

"Yeah, you might wanna get your clothes on before we go outside, cause I don't wanna deal with a crap-ton of horny scientists, guards, and SCP's." I giggled a bit.

"Right. I don't want to make it harder for us to get Connor out." She went and picked up her clothes, putting them on one at a time. After she was done, she was stretched before I spoke up.

"You ready? You're gonna see a lot of people die, so you need to prepare for that." Serena's smile turned into a frown.

"I'll... I'll try." She said. I grabbed her hand and looked back at her.

"Just like old times?" She nodded as she walked with me out of the chamber and into the control room.

"It's good to have you back, Serena." Alina smiled. I picked up one of the guards P90s. It had a red dot sight with a suppressor along with fifty shots; The ultimate cheese weapon.

"Haha.. Ive always wanted one of these." I unloaded and reloaded the gun, smiling happily.

"I bet you have." Alina looked over at me before the sounds of gunshots were heard outside the door.

"We gotta move." I said. Alina nodded as we went through the door to a surprisingly clear hallway.

"Everyone, keep your guard up!" Alina aimed down the right side of the hallway as I aimed down the left.

"Do you know exactly where he is, Alina?" Serena asked her.

"Unfortunately. When we went over the plan with Bright, even he didn't know where he was. We might need to split up. Y/n, can you take care of Serena or would you like me to take care of her?"

"I got her, don't worry."

"Alright. Stay safe, you two."

"You as well, Alina."

"Dear heavenly father, please take care of all of us in our time of need and please protect our son as this goes on. Please father forgive the sins that these two are about to commit. In your name, Amen." Serena prayed for us, which caused me to smile a bit.

"Thanks, Serena. I appreciate it." I looked at her as she grinned back at me.

"Okay, Lets move." Alina and I switched places, her to the left and me to the right with Serena's hand in my grasp. Alina then moved forward, going through the door behind us as we went through the door in front of us. We were met by a scientist that was running down the hall.. He quickly pushed us aside and ran through the door. Suddenly I heard a loud shrieking scream. I soon realized what it was.

"Serena..."

'Yeah?"

"Close your eyes, cover your ears, and keep your head down." The sounds got closer.

"W-Why?"

"JUST DO IT!" She quickly closed her eyes and I closed my own eyes as suddenly, the door slammed open.I stood dead still and dead silent. The screaming stopped as I could feel its presence right in front of me.

"I-Is it safe?"

"NO! DO NOT OPEN YOUR EYES!" I yelled.

"OKAY!!" I slowly opened my own eyes to be met with a white, skinny, and tall monstrosity. My eyes went from his feet, to his torso, to his face. Its face... Its face... Blood stained its mouth and chin along with its torso and fingers. His feet were also stained with blood.

".... Hi...." I said to it.... No response..

"My name is Y/n..." I tried speaking to it again while waving my hand in front of it's face with no response in return. I didn't know what to do. Should I run? Should I wait? I simply just stepped to the side, bringing Serena to my side with me. Then, 096 ran forward, screaming again. It slammed open the door down the hall and went on its way. I took a deep breath and sighed heavily, relieving some of the stress I had.

"A-Are we good, yet?"

"Yeah.. We're fine now." She sighed, opening her eyes and uncovering her ears.

"Thank goodness." She sighed.

"I was able to see its face without any problems, which excites me a little." I said.

"Really?"

"Well, it's not everyday you can just not be affected by SCP's, unless if you're me." I stated.

"Right, I bet its weird."

"Kind of. Alright, let's head on." I said as we went on.

*Connor's POV*

The alarm has been pounding in my ears for a while now as I was confused as to what was going on. My cell door was open, but the scientist that normally came to give me tests, walked in.

"W-What's going on?" I asked her in a panic.

"There's been a containment breach. All of the SCP's are loose and out of control. You, are staying in your cell till this shit is over." She said standing over me with her arms crossed.

"Watch your language. My mom doesn't like bad words."

"Well, I'm not your mother, so you can shut it, kid." She looked through the window as I sighed. A window of silence came to us until I finally spoke up.

"Are we gonna die?"

"I dunno. This isn't the first time it's happened."

"Hm?"

"It's happened a lot of other times."

"Are all of the scary monsters going to get us?"

"To be honest, probably." Hearing that got me worried.

"Don't worry, we have a competent security team here. They can handle it."

"Phew."

"I hope.."

*Y/N'S POV*

"SERENA, GET DOWN, NOW!!!" I yelled to her as she immediately dropped to the floor. We were in a large, two floor office room where about six guards were pinning us down, shooting at us. Serena and I were behind a solid steel cubical desk. I quickly poked my head up and started blasting from my P90, making Swiss cheese of two guards.

"Y/n... I'm Scared!! We're gonna die!!" She held her head and screamed.

"We're not gonna die!" I went around her and peeked the corner of the desk. I then domed a guy several yards away, his body hitting the floor.

"How is this one guy taking us out?!" I heard one of the guards say.

"Well maybe if you would stop shooting like storm troopers and actually hit us, you could probably kill us!" I yelled back, shooting another with my pistol. A small pause in the gunfire caused a bit of awkwardness.

"Get that motherfucker!" Another one yelled. I looked to my right to find a couple of large cardboard boxes, though they were a bit too small for me to fit into.

"Damn, I don't think I can fit into those anymore." I suddenly heard footsteps coming from my left and right. I stood up and shot my last pistol bullet at the guard on the right before throwing the pistol at the guy on the left's head. I then ran at him and punched him in the face, disorienting him. Afterwards, I went down to his boot, pulled out his knife, and stabbed him about twenty eight times in the chest and neck. I knew he was already dead after the first three or four stabs, but I did it for the meme I guess. Anyways, the room was clear and there was no living soul left besides Serena and I.

"Are we good?"

"Yep. I took care of them all. We can rest easy now. Phew... That was.... Tense."

"Tell me about it. That was Sca-" Suddenly the far door opened up. Serena stayed hidden as I immediately aimed at the figure but after realizing who it was, I lowered my weapon. He noticed us and stood still, putting his hands together.

"My, my we meet again, Y/n, just as you said. Is this the plan you were speaking of?" It was SCP-049. He wasn't hostile whatsoever.

"Yeah, some guy from the foundation stole my son, and I'm trying to get him back. I had to start all of this uproar so we could break out and let the other SCP's do the work while Serena and I grab Connor." I explained to him.

"I see. Interesting. You sacrifice the lot to save the few."

"I could care less about anyone who works here. I just want my son back." Serena then popped her head up, thinking it was safe. She noticed who I was talking to and slowly approached.

"H-Hi.."

"Oh! You're the one that Y/n ran away with the last time we met. I apologize for chasing you. Your powers overwhelmed me."

"Oh.. I-It's no problem at all." Serena smiled, seeing that the Plague Doctor was actually kind of a tame guy.

"Have you done any of your... magic?" I asked him.

"Oh, yes. It has been exciting."

"Good. I left 6 people in here just for you."

"Splendid. I wish I could owe you something in return, but I sadly do not have anything on my person that I could give."

"How about you stall anyone that shows up and tries to get through the door?"

"That will be done."

"Thanks. I hope we see each other again before we leave the facility."

"Likewise, my friend. I will make sure that no one gets through me."

"Thank you." I said as Serena and I went through the far door and down the hall. We kept going through hallways until we were met with a large screen window on the left of us. It seemed to be the cafeteria. We peered in to see a man standing at SCP-294. It seems that they were able to take the vending machine out of Site-19 before the explosion. The man was super peculiar. He was about average height. He had black, wavy hair. He wore a black and white split hoodie with the words Unus Annus on the back with a couple skulls. For some reason, he really reminded me of the guy back at Site-19, when we were walking by the cafeteria there; Y'know the one with the pink moustache...

"What's with the cafeteria's and their weird people?" Serena asked me.

"I dunno. He seems vaguely familiar, don't you think?"

"Totally. Ready to move on?" She looked over to me.

"Yeah" I said. We went on through several more rooms and we made it to a hallway with a singular door on the right. On the sign to the right, it read, Director's Office. The door was wide open with stairs that led upwards. I went up slowly, aiming my P90 in front of me. After making it into the office, I lowered my weapon, knowing it was clear.

"So this is the director's office?" Serena asked. I looked around and saw a bunch of weapons and images of a guy with animals for faces. It was weird. Who were we dealing with?? I went over to the desk as the nameplate was scratched out. I then saw a letter. I picked it up as Serena just wandered around the office, looking at things.

Dear ██████,

I first met your mother when she was a girl. She had hooves for feet and starlight in her eyes. She was beauty and nature, and I killed her with my own two hands.

Eden isn't a place. It's a state of being. They wanted to take us back to it. I stopped them. I took paradise away from us for a second time. I have never regretted my actions on that day, except one: that when you first met me on that day, you saw your father put a bullet into the head of your mother. I make no excuses, only explanation. I hope you understand why I did what I did. I hope you forgive me.

I love you. I wish I could have done more for you. The best I could do was leave you in the hands of kind and loving people and hope they would raise you in my place. From what I've seen, they did well. I'm sorry you couldn't stay with them. I'm sorry they've brought you to this place. I promise to do my best to make sure your stay here is pleasant. I promise to keep you safe.

Happy sixteenth birthday, honey.

Your Father,

████ ███████

The names to whom and from were redacted, but I knew who it was for... I looked over to Serena with a sad face. She looked over to me with a concerned and confused face.

"What's wrong?" She asked. I didn't know what to say to her. I felt so bad knowing her mom was killed by the director of the facility, let alone the director being her father. She said that she didn't know much about her mom, and that she disappeared. He was the one to bring her to this damned place. How.... How didn't she know about this?? It made no sense. I just... didn't say anything about it.

"It's nothing... Just... a stupid letter about something unimportant..." I didn't have the heart to tell her. I just couldn't.

"You sure?"

"Yeah. Don't worry about it. It's fine...." I took the letter and shoved it down the paper shredder next to the desk. I then noticed that there was a level 4 card right where the letter used to be. I took it just in case.

"Alright then." She smiled at me happily, which only made me feel worse for her. We went back down the stairs and went to the left, going through the next door. We ended up in a large office area with a bunch of cubicles pretty well spaced apart. There was an upstairs to it. Suddenly, a stray bullet flew right past my ear, hitting the door behind me. I quickly held my P90 to the upper floor to see a man. It was the one who took our son. I knew that elite soldier armor from anywhere. I immediately aimed my P90 at him.

"Ah Ah Ah. That wouldn't be a very wise choice." The man said. He sounded exactly as he did back when he stole Connor from us. I tried shooting the gun, but realized... It was out of bullets. I should not have just blasted those two guards with random bullets. I mentally facepalmed myself. I threw the gun away to my right.

"Who are you and why the hell did you take our son?!" I yelled at him.

"Remember what I said to you on that faithful day: You took something from me, so it's only right for me to take something from you, is it not? I'm glad you brought it with you. I was going to negotiate a fair trade, but seeing what you've done to the place, I think It's past the point of negotiation." He vaulted over the second floor railing and landed on his feet with ease. He holstered his M9.

"What did I take from you?! What was so precious and important to you that you had to invade our home and steal our child?!" I said angrily, stepping forward. I only heard a single laugh from the guy.

"Why don't you tell him, Meri? " He said clearly looking at Serena.
