Getting in the Facility

*The Next Day. Y/N'S POV*

The early morning was brisk and cold, the sun yet to come above the horizon. Serena was still in bed fast asleep. I was awake on the porch, sitting in a rocking chair and drinking hot cocoa. You could barely see the sunlight in the horizon, only the rays that touched the sky, showing the thin, wavy, ribbon-like Noctilucent clouds in the mesosphere. They were very pretty and a rare sight to see. I could see the carbon dioxide clouds come out of my mouth as I exhaled and the steam from the cocoa. I took another sip before giving myself a smile, thinking about how far Serena and I have come since I've broken her out of containment. Not just that, but how far I've come as a person. I remember the day I was taken from my family and put into Site-19. I could only chuckle at the memories, but soon frown after the thought of Connor O'Brian and Iris Thompson. Iris passed away by the hands of Chief Elazar, the Head guard of Serena's cell back at the old Site. O'Brian... He died setting off the nukes at the facility, killing and destroying a fuck ton of SCP's and letting Serena and I escape. They were in a happier and safer place now... Together. I looked at their graves to my right, off the porch. (Really proud of this paragraph)

"I really do miss you guys, you know?" I spoke. A small gust of wind went by their graves, blowing a couple leaves away in the process. The snow wasn't too thick, around three to four inches or so.

"Today's the day, huh.." I sighed. Today was the day we started the operation where we would all try to get Connor back from SCP Foundation Site-Zero Alpha. I really hope my plan works out. I cant go in with guns or anything. After the officers break us out of our containment cells, everything is OSP. I looked towards the horizon to see that little piece of the sun rise above the ground. The clouds disappeared as the sky became an orange-pink mixture. Suddenly, the front door to my left opened up to reveal a half asleep Serena. I smiled at her.

"Yo."

"Goo- Mornin'....." She groggily said, rubbing her eyes before yawning. She stretched her arms into the air. I chuckled heavily.

"Looks like you're picking up my accent a bit more."

"Mmmmm." She ignored me..

"Sleep well?"

"Mhmmm" She nodded slowly, her eyes still slightly closed.

"Wanna take a seat? We can watch the sunrise together."

"Sure, but not for too long. It's really chilly out here." She hugged herself a bit to keep warm.

"Meh, I don't mind the cold really." I watched her sit on the rocking chair next to mine. She was wearing her normal clothes that Bright made for her.

"The sunrise is really pretty" She said with a small grin.

"Yeah.. It is." I smiled back at her, only to see her grin turn to a frown.

"Y/n... Are... Are you sure you want to go through with this plan? I know we have to get Connor back, but having to kill people just to get him?"

"Look, my plan is going to work. Plan A is amazing."

"What if it doesn't work?"

"Then we switch to Plan B, easy."

"And what is Plan B exactly?"

"Eh.... I dunno. Playing it by ear?" I giggled. Serena sighed nervously.

"You worry me sometimes." She said, shaking her head.

"Sorry. Hey, trust me, we'll get him back."

"I've been thinking about that guy."

"The one who took Connor?"

"Mhmm."

"What about him?"

"I don't know, but... I feel like I have a connection to him somehow. Like, in my heart, something hit me in a weird way when he invaded our house."

"I see." She sighed once more.

"I'm sure we'll figure that out while we're there."

"Alright."

"I love you, you know that?" I looked over at her, holding my hand out to her. She looked back at me and her frown went back into a smile.

"I love you too, more than anything in this world." She took my hand happily. We waited a while until we heard the large military truck pull up in the driveway. The officers and Bright got out of the truck to greet us.

"Good morning, you two." Bright stood on the steps to the porch.

"Likewise to you, Bright."

"Are you both ready?" He asked. I could hear his stomach growl. I looked over at Serena, then back at the Doctor.

"You hungry, Bright?" I asked him.

"I could eat something."

"Alright. I'll make breakfast for everyone before we set off, sound good?"

"Delightful." Bright smiled. Serena and I got up and went inside, along with Bright and the officers. I decided to make pancakes and eggs with fruit and juice or milk; Coffee for Bright of course. The man loves his dirty bean water. After finishing making a fuck ton of Flapjacks, I gave everyone their plate of food. Serena, Bright, Alina, and I sat at the dining room while the other officers sat in the living room and ate.

"I'm going to let you know, that I won't be able to join you or help you during your plan of action." Bright said, setting his coffee down.

"What?" I looked at him.

"Why?" Serena asked.

"For one thing, my reputation as a director would be diminished. Another thing is that I have.... Other business to attend to."

"I see. That makes sense."

"But I'll be there to see you off."

"Alright."

"You two might have to be in a cell for a while. It will take a bit of time for us to find the right time to bust you two out." Alina said before drinking some milk.

"We'll be fine. They already have all of the info on Serena, so there's no need to test with her. Though, I could have infinite tests, due to my power." I replied to Alina's statement. Saying that worried Serena a bit.

"That's true. Since other SCP's do not affect you, they could go on forever with tests."

"It gives us more time to plan the breakout."

"That's also true." Alina stated. After everyone finished eating, Serena and I did the dishes and went outside, ready to head off to Site-Zero Alpha. Serena, the officers, and Bright went over to the helicopter while I stood in front of O'Brian and Iris's graves.

"Wish us luck... Please... Watch over us, you two." I say my final words before getting in the helicopter with everyone. The helicopter soon took of and started its travel to the Alaskan border. Like Bright said, it would take several hours to get there. I thought about our route of action again and again, thinking of all the ways it could go wrong and all of the other small things that could happen.

"You afraid?" Alina looked at me with a soft grin on her face.

"A bit, actually. As per usual, if someone makes a perfect plan, it's bound to go wrong somehow, so I've been pondering on anything else I could do depending on what goes wrong."

"Impressive."

"Huh?" I looked up at her.

"You have an impressive thought process."

"Eh? It's nothing really. It's just common sense and preparing before hand."

"Right." She looked away. I turned to Serena, who was yawning.

"This is going to be a long trip, huh?"

"Mhmm."

"Should've brought the Switch. We could have played some smash or something on the way." About a year ago, I asked the officers to bring home a family game system and they brought home a Switch. Serena and I played smash together a whole bunch. She mained Zelda and Banjo while I mained Snake and Terry. She was pretty damn good at the game. Normally it's about a 50-50 win/loss ratio between us. We kind of just beat each other from time to time equally.

"Yeah, that would've been fun." She giggled.

"Did you know that Corrin got buffed recently?"

"What??? No way!"

"So did Bayonetta."

"Really??? Come on! She was already strong enough. I heard she was absolutely amazing in the last game." Serena pouted.

"She was broken in Smash 4, along with Cloud."

"Right, That's what I heard."

"Anywho, I'll be glad when this thing is done and over with. Min Min just dropped last night and I want to play her." I sighed.

"Same here. I just want to go back home and watch some anime. I still need to finish The Shield Hero anime with you." She grinned. Everyone in the helicopter engaged in frantic small talk for a long while. After an hour or two, things went quiet as Serena and I took a nap.

...

...

...

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I slowly awoke to Bright tapping my shoulder.

"Hey, we're getting close and you need to be awake. Go ahead and get her up." He stated. I rubbed my eyes and gave Serena a soft headpat.

"Wakey Wakey, Serena. Time to get up. We have a mission to attend to." I watched her lean off of my shoulder, rubbing her own eyes.

"Huh? We're there already?"

"It seems so." As we approach the Site, voices rang in through the coms of our heli.

"You are in a restricted area, please move around or turn back, or we will use force to terminate you!" One guy said. Alina quickly went over to the front of the heli and picked up.

"This is original staff member of Site-19 Alina Zukofsky. Code is 35, Beta, Tangerine, Arma. I have detained SCP-166 and SCP-[Redacted]. Permission to land?"

"One moment please....."

"The code and name checks out. Who is present with you on the helicopter?"

"Me, several other officers, the two anomalies, and Dr. Jack Bright."

"Dr. Bright? What is he doing here?"

"He will be giving you the official updated files for the two anomalies."

"Affirmative."

"Let me get confirmation from the director."

*Clef's POV*
I was sitting in my office, feet on my desk, leaning back in my chair when I got a call. I was cleaning my engraved silver M9. I gently set it down to the side before I picked up.

"What is it?" I asked, sounding a bit annoyed to be bothered.

"People who had previously worked at Site-19 were able to successfully capture SCP-166 and SCP-[Redacted]. They wish to bring them in." As he spoke, my eyes widened. I was surprised. Here I thought they were going to pull some huge heist or a large assault, but, they were captured. They're in my hands now.

"Let them land. Make sure SCP-166 has clothes on before opening the doors. We don't want to have any incidents." I said.

"Yes, sir." We both cut off from the call. I had a large shit-eating grin on my face. I have Meri back, and the other brat. This is perfect.

*Y/N'S POV*

"Is SCP-166 clothed? She will need to be clothed to land the helicopter."

"Affirmative, she is indeed clothed. No need to worry."

"Alright, you have confirmation to land. We will send guards outside to take them in."

"We'll come along too."

"10-4." The guy said as they both cut off. Alina looked back and gave us a thumbs up. I nodded at her. As we landed I looked at Serena, who seemed a bit nervous. I caressed her cheek and kissed her forehead.

"We'll be alright. I promise." I said softly to soothe her. She nodded and smiled. A bunch of guards circled the helipad, holding P90's. The officers opened the doors slowly and hopped out, restraining Serena and I with handcuffs. Bright then got out of the helicopter and gave the updated SCP files to the head guard, who read them over. He then pointed at his men, as they grabbed me and Serena, tugging us aggressively along with them inside the facility.

"Hey! Be gentle with her!"

"Shut it." One of them shouted. I look back at Bright as he waved to us before the doors closed in behind us. Our officers were behind the guards that were dragging us. After a while of walking, we stop at a chamber labelled SCP-166. I swear... That number... Pissed me off. She has a name, and what, to them she's just a number. So am I, I suppose. I shrugged it off.

"Hey, Serena..."

"Yes?"

"Hang in there, alright? I love you." I said.

"I love you too, Y/n." She replied before they opened the door to the cell. From the angle I was at, it looked similar to the one back at Site-19. It had a control room and a corridor that led into her chamber. Two of the soldiers walked her in and uncuffed her. Afterwards, they came out and took me to my own cell. We walked more and more until we reached my very own cell. Which was exactly like Serena's. They brought me in and uncuffed me, locking me in the chamber. It felt so weird. Instead of being a D-Boi, I was now the SCP. I looked around my room to see it had a normal bed, a bookcase full of random books, and a fully functioning toilet and sink with a mirror. A standard cell, I guess. Might as well make the most of it. I went over to the bookshelf and picked out a book. It was a book teaching the readers how to bring Communism back into fruition. I grinned and chuckled happily as I jumped into my bed and started reading.

*Connor's POV*

I was in my room reading a book about what not to do at a stoplight. It made no sense at all, but I had nothing else to read. After discovering I had the power to heal things, I kept it as hard of a secret from these people as I could. I don't know what they'd do to me if they found out. Suddenly, the door to my cell opened as the lady that normally came into my cell walked in with some cereal and milk. My eyes widened with glee as I get to have food. I was hungry after all.

"Yippee! Food!" I cheered happily.

"Your parents are here, and they're locked up. Some guards from another facility were able to capture them and bring them here." She said, putting the tray on the table.

"What?!"

"Yeah, I got confirmation from the director saying that they are indeed in their own cells here in the facility. Another "

"Were they trying to rescue me?" I said out loud to myself. The scientist busted out laughing.

"You think two people can just walk in and take you, then leave? Hell, one of them can't even put up a reasonable fight." She kept on giggling to herself.

"My dad could totally beat everyone up in a fight. And my mom is strong, too. Kindness shows strength."

"Yeah, whatever kid."

I knew in my heart, that I would see them again very soon.

*Clef's POV*

I sat at my desk, smoking a cigar. I was thinking what I could do to the asshole who took Meri from me. I could put him in the chamber with 682... nah.... I could put him in the femur breaker... nah... I could just shoot him.... Too simple. I thought of so many things to do to him before he even got here, but now I don't remember. I looked at the letter I tossed to the side earlier. I sighed and picked it up, the memories coming back to me once more...

*Flashback. Many Years Ago. Clef's POV*

I was in the forest somewhere in England. I was assigned a mission to take out an anomaly who was trying to... Bring back paradise? I didn't know, but they told me it was bad. They knew around where her location was, and they chose me to kill her of course. I'm a badass, what can I say? The forest was kind of pretty actually, now that I look at it. It felt.. magical in a sense.

"C'mon Clef stay on target." I said to myself. I moved slowly throughout the trees. I held a newly customized M9. It was silver and had engravings. I know engravings give me no tactical advantage, but they were pretty sick when I saw the option. I kept walking throughout the forest until I found a large clearing with a relatively medium sized hill in the middle. There was a large tree in the center. A woman stood, her back facing me. She had long brown hair, antlers... and... hooves. She looked to be in her mid 20's maybe. I couldn't tell. This was definitely a weird sight to see. Through all my years, I haven't seen shit like this before. I walked forward, slowly and cautiously. Before I got to the woman, she turned around. I quickly hid my gun. She was lucky enough not to see it in the first place. She tilted her head and smiled. She was... beautiful. Even with the weird features. She was really pretty.

"Hello." Her voice was smooth and crisp, somewhat angelic in a way.

"Good evening."

"What brings you here?" she asked me.

"I... was told someone like you would be here, so I came."

"Oh?"

"What is it you're doing here, if I may ask?" I just wanted to get it over with and kill the bitch, but not before knowing what her true motives were.

"Why would you like to know?"

"Because it's strange to see a beautiful woman like you out here by yourself in the woods."

"I am trying to make Earth a paradise again, just as god made it to begin with. Filthy humans have trashed what he's done to this world. They've taken advantage of what god has given them, and threw it away. That is why, I'm creating a new Ed-" A loud gunshot was heard throughout the forest. Birds flew out of the sea of trees, blood spattered on the large tree, and the body fell on the soft grass, lifeless. I was silent. The silence of the forest after the shot was almost deafening, until I heard a twig snap from behind me. I quickly turned around and aimed my gun downwards to see a small girl. She had blonde hair, Blue eyes, and she looked really young; a kid. She stepped back a bit and looked up at me, my gun still aimed at her tiny forehead. She then looked at the woman's body.

"M-Mama? M-Mama? Wake up." She said. It was hard to understand her since she was so little, but she was trying to talk to her. My heart clenched up a bit, knowing now that woman her mother. I felt like shit. I lowered my gun.

"She's... She's sleeping... Little one." I said to her. What do I do? This wasn't in the mission. Do I just leave her here with her dead mother... I... I could just kill her and all of this would be over... I don't know... I slowly raised my gun back up to her head. I turned my head around so I wouldn't look at the horrible act I was about to commit. My face changed between cringe and anger and sadness. I.. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I lowered my gun again and holstered it before looking at her again.

"When will she wake up?" She asked, tilting her head. I didn't know how to answer her question.

"She'll be sleeping for a while.." I simply stated. Suddenly an idea came to my head.

"Come with me. I... Know a better place to stay than the forest." I said as I held my hand down to her. She backed away. I squatted and smiled.

"I'm not going to hurt you, I pinky promise." Saying this got her attention. She smiled slightly. I got up and held my hand down once more and she reached her hand up to mine. I walked her out of the clearing and carried her out of the woods. I then brought her to a convent. I knew this was the best place to bring her, since her mother was the religious type. I knocked on the door to the private convent as a nun came to the door. Her face went from happy, to concerned when she saw me in my uniform holding the hand of a small child.

"Hello??"

"Yes.. I... Found this girl in the woods. I was sent on a mission to go in the forest nearby to make sure everything was safe, and I found her there next to a dead woman."

"Oh good heavens that's terrible. Both of you come in, please."

"I appreciate it ma'am." I showed kindness to her, since she was a nun. I walked inside with her to the large main room of the church building,

"Why did you bring her here?"

"I was wondering... If you could take care of her? I don't know who her parents are, and I don't want her to go to an orphanage. I want her to go with the grace of god." I said to her. I had to use that to coax her into taking the girl. She smiled.

"And what a great idea that is. You brought her to the perfect place. We'd be more than happy to take her in and teach her." She looked at the girl with such a soft smile. I grinned myself.

"Thank you, ma'am. It mean's a lot to me."

"And what is her name?" She didn't have a name... I didn't know... I had to make up one.

"M-Meri.. Her name is Meri."

"Meri...." She was expecting a last name.

"I don't know what family she belongs to, so I have no frame of reference for a last name for her."

"I see. I'll stick with Meri for now."

"Look, I have to go back. I'm sorry to have to leave so soon." I said.

"It's quite alright." She replied. I kneeled next to the small child.

"Meri, these kind women are going to take good care of you and teach you right from wrong, They're going to teach you how the be a kind individual and know god is in your heart. I will visit you when I can. Goodbye." I said as I left her. She was now connected to me, to my heart. I couldn't let it go. I now regret meeting the child.

*Present. Clef's POV*

I grit my teeth and clenched my fists. Why did I get involved with Meri's life? Why? Why couldn't I have just shot her and her mother dead. None of this shit would have happened, and then I had to take care of her, which I didn't even do that! I growled at myself. I thought about giving her amnestics, but, that would've made me feel worse.

"I need a damn drink right about now."

*Y/N'S POV*

As the day started to end, I sat on my bed, thinking about the plan. Then I started thinking about Serena. What was she doing right now? Suddenly, the microphone from the control room kicked on.

"I recommend you get some sleep. You will be testing with SCP-049 tomorrow." I knew that Russian accent from anywhere. And it seemed I have to go face to face with the Plague boi again. It's been 13 years since I've seen him and ran away from him with Serena. Hopefully the time where the plan springs into action comes soon, if not, things would get infinitely worse. I hopped into my bed and soon fell asleep.
