*Chapter Seven*

~{Desdemona's Point Of View}~

After dealing with Ash's bullshit, I hurried off to class before I was late. I sit down in my usual seat and get out my compisition notebook, waiting for Mr. Beazely's instructions.

"Can you believe Ash's new target?"

"No! I don't understand why Ash would choose her! And he just hooked up with me! How could he go from a 10 to a 2?!"

I turn in my seat to see who was speaking and it turned out to be Elena Cronwell. 'So Elena thinks she's a 10, huh? Hmm...maybe I should tell her what half our school thinks about her,' I think to myself. "Hey, Elena."

"Hmm?" she asks, looking at me judgementally and picking me apart in her mind like a vulture would an armadillo's dead carcass.

"I really love your shirt. Where'd you get it?" I ask, the sweet tone of my voice as fake as Pamela Anderson's boob job.

Elena looks at me, a slight blush appearing on her cheeks. "I-I bought it at Aéropostale."

I smirk, "Cool, maybe I should check it out. It might promote me to a 3," I say, watching her face go pale.

"I-I wasn't t-talking about you! I was talking about...Jane!"

"Yeah, I'm sure you were," I say, rolling my eyes and turning back around. Sighing, I start on the bell ringer.

The bell rang and our teacher, Mr. Wilder closed the door and began discussing verb tenses and subject-verb agreement, things we already learned in elementary school and junior high.

I frown and get my sketchbook out, drawing two boys: Ash and Spencer. They were drawn in anime version and I drew hearts around Spencer. I glance up at Mr. Wilder, making sure he didn't see me as I pulled my phone out. I open my text messages and read a text fron my stepdad.

"Before you come home, will you pick up some steaks from the store?" he texted.

I smile, shaking my head. "Of course, Michael," I reply, sending it. I click on the web app, waiting for it to load and typed google.com into the address bar. I sign into my account and check my email, reading the important ones and deleting the trivial spam. Suddenly, one email caught my eye. It said:

"I know what you are. I know who you kill. And, bitch, I have one thing to say: Watch your back!"

I frown, feeling vulnerable. I had no idea who-or what-sent that message. The sender's email address wasn't present on the screen. Glancing around the classroom, I search for a hint of suspicion. There was none and I began to worry.

Michael had told me about these types of threats before. They were completely serious and dangerous. Not to be taken lightly.

I sigh, 'Great, how'd I get myself into this?'

~{Chelsea's Point of View}~

The nurse lets me get some rest but after an hour, she checks my temperature and sends me back to class, which was the final period of the day.

I make my way to EnglishⅡ, knocking on the door and handing Mr. Beazely my nurse's note and walking to my seat next to Sasha Pierce.

Taking a glance to the side, I see Spencer diligently taking notes as Mr. Beazely gave his monotone lecture.

'He's so adorable...' I think to myself as I find myself licking my lips, 'I'm lying to myself, he's hott.'

He feels me staring at him and glances in my direction, smiling.

I smile back, waving and crossing my legs. I glance at my notes and sigh, frustrated. This stuff was already plastered to my brain. I didn't want to learn it again. Getting out a sheet of notebook paper, I write on the top of it with my healthy arm, "Hey, I am having a party tonight at my mansion. It starts at 7. Who all is coming? Write your name below and pass it to the next person." I hand the note to Sasha and she smiles, signing her name. She hands it to the boy in front of her and so on. I smile, satisfied and begin planning the party in my mind.

'Hmm...lots of snacks...drinks-maybe a couple alcoholic-and Spencer to play? I should talk to him about that...' I think, jotting all this down and glancing at Spencer the same time as the note is passed to him. I watch him as he writes his name and passes it on. My heart skips a beat and I feel butterflies in my stomach. 'Yay! Spencer's coming!'

Finally the note gets passed all the way back to me, a long list of people's names on the list. I smile to myself and begin to put my stuff up, for the bell was going to ring in a few minutes.

Everyone started to chatter with one another and I stood up, walking towards Spencer. "Hey," I say.

He sees me and smiles. "Hey, Chelsea," he starts, "what happened to your arm?"

"Cheerleading," I reply, "it can be dangerous, especially if you have Jane in charge of catching you..."

Spencer frowns, "Jane did this?"

"Not intentionally she says, but who knows. It is Jane we're talking about."

"I'm sorry that happened, Chelsea."

I smile, "Don't worry about me, Spence. So, I was wondering if you could maybe play at my party. You and your band."

"Of course! We'd be delighted!" He says, grinning, "I know the guys would love that. Especially if there's free refreshments."

"Of course, what kind of party would it be if there wasn't free food and drinks?" I say, giggling.

"Well, I'd say it'd be a pretty awesome party if you were there," he stated softly.

I blush unnoticeably and smile. "That's so sweet, Spencer."

Suddenly, the bell rings. "So where exactly do you live?" he asks quickly.

"1657 Syracuse Avenue," I say.

"How am I gonna remember that?" he asks.

I giggle, grabbing his wrist and writing my number on his arm. "Just text me, and I'll text it to you."

"Need some help with your stuff?" He asks politely.

"Nah, I got it. Thanks Spencer," I say.

"Alright, I'll see you later, Chelsea! We'll be there at your party early!" Spencer says, hurrying out of the class and to his ride.

I smile and walk out of the school and to the parking lot, getting in my car and driving home carefully with one arm.

I perfect the finishing touches on another decoration in the living room and hear a knock. I giddily open the door and greet Spencer and his band. "Hey! Thanks for coming! Okay, so the sound equipment is over there. Do whatever you have to for your instruments. Spence, can you come over here for a second?" I ask, stepping away from the group of boys and watching Spencer.

Spencer smiles. "Yeah, sure. Guys, go ahead and set up your stuff. I'll be right there," he says, walking to me, "Yes, Chelsea?"

"Thank you so much for coming to play at my party! I really appreciate of especially since I just met you."

"No problem. So how is this gonna work? Are we playing throughout the whole party?"

"No, you can take a break whenever you need to. I can always just play music from my iPod. Just let me know, kay?"

Spencer nods. "Okay, thanks Chelsea. I'll tell the guys." He smiles at me and walks to his friends, talking to them.

I watch him walk back and bite my lip. I still hadn't picked out my outfit! I ran up the stairs and began sifting through my closet to find the perfect outfit. I finally find it. Making my way downstairs, I look at the time. 6:57 p.m.

"Spencer, people should be coming soon. Go ahead and play," I say, walking to the front door and watching people pull into my massive driveway. I greeted people as they walked in and they complimented my outfit, my house, my music, and just about everything else. As waves of people began showing up, I smile and walk towards Karen. "So, what do you think?" I ask her.

Karen, standing next to her college boyfriend Christopher as always, smiles. "Great party. This'll leave people buzzing at least until 2nd semester! I still cant believe Jane dropped you," she states. Shrugging, she kisses Christopher rather provocatively. It was clear that those two were making out. I awkwardly walk away and grab a Green Apple Smirnoff, getting some guy to open it and I gulping half the bottle.

"Chelsea!"

I glance in the direction of the voice and see Matthew. He rushes towards me. "Hey Matthew," I say.

He smiles, hugging me. "You still mad?"

I bite my lip. "Not really but you need to think about what you said because that was really rude. When he's on his break, you need to go apologize and say it like you mean it. If you don't, I won't kiss you until you do." I put my healthy hand on my hip. "Okay?"

He sighs. "Fine, but why is he playing at your party anyway?"

"He's playing at my party because he's my friend, and plus, his band plays good. Why do you care anyway?"

"Why do I care, because you're my girlfriend!" He crosses his arms. "You are my girlfriend right?" He asks softly.

"Of course." He leans forward, trying to kiss me, but I turn my head. "Apologize first." I walk away and greet people. I smile as Ash walks in, making a big announcement.

"I'm here!" He says making his announcement and flings his arms out above his head. Everyone turns their head and looks at him, girls smiling and chattering excitedly, and most boys rolling their eyes. Then everyone continues as they were before.

"Hey Ash, I'm glad you could make it." I brush my bangs behind my ear.

"Of course I came, I'm the life of the party!" He smiles. "Uh...what happened?"

I blush. "Jane dropped me during practice," I say.

"Oh...so, this is your house and your party?"

"Yeah it's not much, just something I threw together for everyone to enjoy themselves."

Ash smiles and puts an arm around me, "There's nothing wrong with a little fun."

"Exactly, some people just don't get that. We need a break sometimes." I look around and realize I'm thirsty. "Want something to drink? There's both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks."

He grins and nods. "Of course I would. Shall we?" he asks, linking arms with me.

I smile. "Okay." We walk over to the refreshments and grab drinks. I see Jane and some other girl walk in and start dancing. 'Who invited Jane?' Just then, Spencer and his band finish playing 'Somewhere in Neverland' by All Time Low. I begin walking to the stage to put on music from my iPod. "I'll be back."

I turn on 'Gangnam Style' by PSY and walk towards Spencer to compliment him and his band but stop as I see some blonde girl hanging out with him. They're laughing and smiling. 'Hmm...I don't want to interrupt. And where's Jane? Whatever.' I walk back to the refreshments to hang out with Ash but see him aggravating 'Demon.' 'She came?' I sigh and walk upstairs to get peace, quiet and to get away from everything. I just need time by myself. I open a door and see Jane and Matthew 'getting it on.' I gulp down tears and anger rises. "Both of you, GET OUT!" I move out of the doorway and point an accusing finger at them and then out of the room. "I come to get peace and quiet and find THIS! I'm disgusted! Now get out before I call the police! I never invited you so technically you're trespassing!" I run out of the room and downstairs. I look around and run out of my house, seeing that no one has time for me. I sit down on a bench in front of my pond with Koi fish and a beautiful fountain and rest my chin on my palm.

~{Spencer's Point Of View}~

As I sing 'Somewhere in Neverland' by All Time Low, I watch Ash make a big deal about his arrival. I continue watching as I sing and see him put an arm around Chelsea. Anger starts to come out with my voice and I try to clear it out. I sing the last verse:

"Wendy we can get away

I promise if you're with me, say the word and we'll find a way

I can be your lost boy, your last chance

Your 'everything better' plan

Oh, somewhere in Neverland

Oh, somewhere in Neverland"

After the song, I heard Chelsea put on music from her iPod and shrug, taking off the guitar strap from my shoulder and setting the guitar down against the wall. I casually walk towards the table of refreshments and grab a Barq's root beer. Popping it open, I gulp about half the can. Suddenly, I feel a tap on my shoulder, and I turn around. I find myself staring into the eyes of a beautiful blonde girl I've never seen before. "Uh...hiya..." I say nervously.

She flips her hair back and smiles a big, sexy smile. "Hi, hottie. What's your name?"

I blush lightly. "I-I'm Spencer."

"Very nice to meet you Spencer," she says sweetly, "I'm Kendra, but you can call me Kitty. How about we go talk?"

I smile and nod as she takes my hand and pulls me to an unoccupied couch. "So...where are you from? I haven't seen you around before."

She grins, "I go to one of the other California schools. Ever heard of Delgado High?"

I nod, "Yeah, one of my friends goes there."

"What's his name? I might know him."

"Alduin."

She giggles, "That's his real name?"

I chuckle, "Nah, he doesn't like his real name. He says it's gay."

"What's his real name?" she asks, holding my hand.

"Andy," I say, blushing.

"His name's not gay," she says, "it just doesn't sound as cool as Alduin."

"Yeah, I guess you're right," I say.

"Spencer?"

"Yeah?" I say, looking into her beautiful golden brown eyes.

"We're at a party. We should have a little bit of fun and let loose. What do you say?" she whispers in my ear.

I blush, "Um...yeah, sure."

She smiles and sits in my lap, kissing my lips and putting her arms around my neck.

I clumsily kiss back, my hand resting on the small of her back. I close my eyes and move my lips against hers. She may be some girl I just met but I wanted some love. After all, I had been hoping for the school's most beautiful and talented cheerleader to talk to me since the fifth grade. I wanted to forget about everything for a minute. I just wanted to feel loved.

~{Ash's Point of view}~

After ditching Chelsea, I find Desdemona and pester her, trying to get her to lighten up and hook up with me. Looks like she's still her old self, refusing to talk to me, much less fuck me.

"Hey babe, you look beautiful. You wanna get a drink and talk?"

"Shut up and leave me alone! I thought you would have learned already that I dont want! And I'm not even dressed up!" She snaps.

"Exactly! But you still look beautiful! I can imagine you in one of my T-shirts, just my T-shirt and nothing else."

She stares at me for a second but then walks to me and slaps me across the face. "In your dreams, idiot." She then turns around and starts walking again.

I rub my tender cheek and smile. 'She knows she wants me.' I run after her, grabbing her wrists and pushing her against the wall. I hold her wrists above her head and forcefully push my lips against hers, and enjoy her struggle to get free.

I make an attempt to slide my tongue into her mouth, but she had her lips clamped together tightly. I groan into her lips and press my body against hers. I finally pull away, gasping for breath. "Come on, girl, give in," I whisper, kissing her neck.

"Fuck you," she growls, tensing up as I suck on her collar bone.

I smirk and pull away, accidentally loosening my grip on her. She hits me in the stomach, pushing me away from her.

"You fucking jerk! Keep your damn hands off of me!!" She runs out of the house and slams the door harshly. Everyone stops and stares at me dumb-foundedly, then continue doing whatever it was they were doing. I curse under my breath and walk to the dance floor, beginning to dance to 'I'm Not a Vampire' by Falling in Reverse.

I think about the lingering taste of Demon's delicious lips and get turned on by the thought of kissing-and tasting- her other lips, the ones between her hips. 'Demon...I don't even know her real name. No wonder she hates me...' I think to myself. 'I'll figure out her name and then go from there,' I decide, 'I want her so much it hurts.'
