Michael has told me that he has been in romantic relationships but they never had a happy ending. Michael has told me about the times when he was with Tatum O'Neil, they met in 1975 in a beach party, then met again in 1977 at Rox club, that's when they started dating. Michael and Tatum had there differences, even though Michael was older than Tatum O'Neil it seemed to be the other way around when they were dating. Tatum was thirteen years old and she already knew how to drive a car, Tatum was more experienced in the sexual field than Michael, "she wanted to do everything", he once told me. After a year or so of dating they called it quits because of there busy schedules.

Michael and Brooke shields also became an item, they met at the Oscars in 1981. Which was a dream come true for Michael because he already had a big crush on her, Michael was so happy when they exchanged numbers, " I went home and danced around my house", he said. Michael and Brooke became close as the years went by, the more they got close, the more Michael's crush on her grew, they were romantically involved for a while. Michael once told me the time when Brooke and Michael were being romantic. "Brooke got really intimate towards me, but I chickened out, I shouldn't have".

I really didn't know if they where still romantically involved or not, he hasn't told me. But Mary and Erica once told me that the way Brooke and Michael act around each other they're convinced that they're still together like that, I wasn't sure whether to believe them or not.

Until one day Michael invited myself and the kids to the hayvenhurst house, the kids were excited to see Michael and to see his home. The kids and I were waiting at the front gate of the art building for our carpool Michael sent, but when they came they weren't just ordinary carpools, they were two limousines. The kids were in awe, they were even more elevated to go into the limousines and to see Michael. We entered the limousines and drove off to Michael's home.

Finally we were at Michael's home, as we all got out of the limousines the kids stood in front of his house with amazement.

"Everyone follow me, Michael's waiting", said Phil as he led us into the hayvenhurst estate.

We were in the estate I looked at the kids reaction they were staggered at the estate, suddenly we heard a voice calling us from a far, we all looked at the direction it was coming from, it was Michael. "Hey who's that with Michael", Olivia asked. I looked at the person that was standing beside him, it was a young woman.

As we walked closer to Michael the young woman looked so familiar, "Wait it can't be, is that BROOKE SHEILDS!", Cecil said in utter excitement. When we got to Michael the young woman that was standing beside Michael was actually actress and model Brooke Shields, seeing her up close like that was really cool. The kids all ran up to Michael and gave him a big hug.

"Guys I like you to meet Brooke Shields", he introduced, as he wrapped his arms around her shoulders.

"Hello everyone", she greeted.

We all greeted back, until Brooke glanced at me.

"Hi you must be Aya, Michael has told me so much about you", she said, as she was shaking my hand.

"He's told me so much about you too", I replied.

When we were finished introducing each other, we all went inside the house and hung out. We were playing in the arcade, the kids loved it. The kids were watching me play pacman since I was pretty good at it.

"Aya your amazing at this you bet my highest score", Cecil said impressed.

"Yeah mine too", Jeffery added.

The kids were surrounding me watching me play, but I couldn't spot Michael, once I did he was with Brooke talking and giggling in a corner. I couldn't take my eyes off them, suddenly I realized I lost the game.

"Oh man, so close", Cecil said disappointed.

"Sorry", I apologized.

We moved on to the next game, we watch Justine and Cecil compete with each other. As the kids were watching the competition I was there staring at Brooke and Michael who were distant from the rest of us. I started to wonder, maybe Erica and Mary were right, maybe Michael and Brooke are still together in that way.

"Jealous much", Olivia spoke out of nowhere.

I turned to Olivia and told her that I wasn't jealous, from the look she gave she didn't believe me, "I can understand why Michael is interested in her, I mean she's beautiful, she's an actress and a model, she has her whole life planned out", Olivia remarked. Olivia was right Brooke shields was perfect for Michael, but why did I feel so glum, why was it bothering me so much, I don't care who Michael dates, he's my closest friend and I shouldn't care, if Michael's happy I'm happy.

Later on we went to the theater, we were going to watch one of my favorite classics The wizard of Oz . The kids were super excited to watch the film in Michael's big movie screen, as we were taking our seats, Michael walk towards me, I guess he wanted to sit beside me, which was nice because I hadn't spoken to him for the whole day since he's been busy being in Brooke's company. As soon as Michael find a seat beside me, Brook grabbed Michael's arm and dragged him away. "Look Michael I found us. some good seats right over here", she said dragging Michael to the seats. Myself and Olivia (who was sitting at the other seat beside me) stared at each other, "what was that", Olivia muttered.

The film started and we were watching it, while we were watching the film, I glanced at Michael and Brooke sitting at very edge, three roles in front of me, I saw Brooke put her arms around Michael's and her head on his shoulder, I could hear them chuckle. I was sitting there not paying any attention to the movie, watching Michael and Brooke from a distance, clenching my fists without realizing it. Once I realized it I release my fist, what was wrong with me, why was it bothering me, why should I care, it's so stupid Michael is my friend, I shouldn't care at all.

After the movie was over, Paula announced that our meal was ready, a meal she was working on early in the morning. Once we walked into the dining room we were all blown away, Paula didn't make a meal she made a feast, the table was full of home made food from every corner of the table, it looked and smelled so good. We all took our seats, Justine sat beside Michael and Olivia was sitting at the other seat beside Michael, leaving Brooke and myself sitting beside each other.

We were eating our exquisite meal, the kids were keeping Michael busy asking him questions about the estate. Meanwhile Brooke and I were sitting next to each other awkwardly, not saying a word to each other, Until I struck up a conversation about art, but Brooke seemed disinterested giving me one word answers, so I changed the subject. I asked her a question about her work as an actress, she completely ignored the question, I wonder why she was acting that way, maybe she doesn't like me, but why, what did I do to make her not like me.

After our big meal we were so stuffed, it was the best meal I've ever had. For the rest of the day we played with the animals, we played a long game of football, things got really competitive between Justine and Cecil, it was very amusing.

When the day ended and we went our separate ways, I walked into my apartment and saw Ephie there of course, she was sitting on the couch watching TV and eating popcorn, coincidently she was watching a Brooke shields film Pretty Baby . I joined her because I liked the film, but I still couldn't get over how she was just avoiding me, plus she was stuck to Michael like glue, I really didn't want it to bother me anymore, but how.

"Ephie can I ask you something", I spoke to Ephie.

"Yeah what is it", she replied.

"What should you do if someone you know is just your friend, but that someone is with a person that your not sure they're together, but every time you see them together it bothers you", I clarified.

"So what you want to know is how to not make it bother you", she replied.

"Yes", I said.

"Well if that someone is truly your friend then it shouldn't bother you in the first place, unless you have some sort of hidden feelings for that someone", she explained.

I knew I shouldn't have gotten advice from Ephie, me, have hidden feelings for Michael, no, it's not possible. Yeah I maybe attracted to Michael, but he's my close friend, he's like a brother to me I just wouldn't cross that line. I just have to try hard and forget about it tomorrow.

"Why did you ask me that question anyway", Ephie asked curiously.

"Oh it's just some drama going on at college", I lied.
