Day 20: A Ring

Todoroki and Kirishima finished up their ideas, both of them happy with the date they had planned. Now all they needed was a ring. Kirishima promised Todoroki that they could go shopping tomorrow, the boy leaving his best friends room with a large smile on his face.

The next day, Kirishima woke up early, having to snake his way out of his blonde fiance's arms to get ready. He placed a kiss on his cheek for starting to get ready as quickly as he can, knowing how quickly Todoroki could get ready. As he was doing his hair, the blonde woke up, sitting in up in bed.

"Where are you going Eijirou?" Bakugou's sleepy voice called out for him, making the redhead smile. He waltzed across the room to stand in front of the bed before placing a soft kiss on his fiance's forehead.

"I'm going ring shopping with Todoroki. Hopefully, I'll be back soon. Remember that movie basket I got you for Christmas? You wanna have a movie night tonight?" Kirishima asked, the blonde nodding in response. He pushed himself out of bed and began getting ready side by side with Kirishima.

"Where are you gonna go Katsuki?" Kirishima asked, turning to look at his fiance. The blonde turned to him and smiled.

"Oh, Sero and I are going to play that new game that came out a few days ago. Sorry for not telling you." Bakugou said, picking up his toothbrush.

"That sounds like fun! I hope you guys like it. But I gotta go babe, Todoroki just texted me he's in the commons. Bye Katsuki." Kirishima responded, kissing the blonde quickly on the lips before heading out the door.

When he arrived in the commons, he saw Todoroki sitting on the couch, fidgetting a little bit. Kirishima walked up to him, a smile on his face.

"You ready Todoroki? Got any ideas?" Kirishima asked, the other boy just nodding. Todoroki stood up from his spot on the couch, basically running for the door.

"Hey wait up you doofus!!" Kirishima giggled, running after his friend. Once he and Todoroki got outside the building, both of them left out a sigh of relief.

"Sorry about that, I'm just nervous," Todoroki muttered, getting an understanding smile from Kirishima. The redhead placed his hand on the other's shoulder in an effort to comfort.

"It's okay! I totally get it, I was so nervous I almost vomited on myself, so it's alright to be a little nervous. Anyway, do you have any idea for a ring? If not I can help." Kirishima told him, a bright smile on his face as they walked side by side.

"Something simple obviously, I don't want anything too flashy. Izuku hates too much attention on him. Maybe just a simple gold band?" Todoroki questioned, Kirishima nodding in agreement.

"That's perfect! Thank god you said gold, Katsuki's is silver. He would have killed me if I let them have similar looking rings." Kirishima mentioned, making both boys laugh. They continued a small conversation as they walked, occasionally looking up to see if they were near the store. It took them a small while, but they eventually made it. As soon as they entered, Todoroki became slightly overwhelmed. There were many different options, but Kirishima was quick to point out that most of them were for females. Kirishima guided him to the small section where the rings for guys were, Todoroki's eyes draw to one in particular.

"Hey Kirishima, how about that one?" Todoroki asked, pointing to a certain ring. It was gold and had three indented lines running through it. Kirishima agreed it might be the perfect ring, Todoroki deciding on that one. He quickly bought it, the two of them now on their way home.

"So...do I have to come up with a speech or..." Todoroki asked, turning to look at his friends. Kirishima shook his head.

"Not necessarily. You could just pull words right from your heart like I did, you can write a speech and memorize it, or you can just not made a speech at all. It's up to you Todo." Kirishima told him, the two of them now approaching the building.

"Where do I hide it? What if he's in the commons?" Todoroki started panicking. Kirishima took the bag from Todoroki, pulling the ring box out and shoving it in his pocket. He threw the bag into the trash, winking at the other. Todoroki giggled softly as they entered the building, seeing Iida, Uraraka, and Midoriya chilling in the common room. They were so thankful they decided to hide the ring, the green-haired boy running over to his boyfriend.

"Shouto!" Midoriya called, running right into Todoroki's arms. He hugged him tightly, Todoroki looking up at Kirishima to give him a smile. Kirishima winked again, mouthing 'Come get it later, I got it' before walking back upstairs to his and his fiance's room. When he returned, the blonde was laying down on their bed, staring up at his hand.

"Katsuki? What are you doing?" Kirishima called out, snapping the blonde out of his thoughts. Bakugou snapped up, looking at the redhead.

"I was just...looking at my ring...and how I'm just...I'm lucky to have you..." Bakugou whispered, making the redhead blush softly.

"You're sappy."

"You are too...shut it."
